Seriously! Was there any greater time to be alive than when Heavy Metal was popular and all over the media? Radio, MTV and even the movies used Metal in the soundtracks. Commercials had Metal music in them. I played rhythm guitar in a crappy Metal band in NYC that never went anywhere and we didn't care because we were having the time of our lives! People dressed in Metal clothes, had badass hair, the women were hot as hell! It was everywhere and it was glorious! 🤘

John is a decent vocalist, but I don't find his singing amazing. He should have had Goran Edman sing the entire Total Control album, he only sings this one and Love Is Meant to Last Forver
@@ataalkinnergis4215 Vincent Cusano was a talented up and coming guitarist/song writer that worked with KISS for two of their heaviest albums (becoming Vinnie Vincent in the process). However his personality and poor business decisions led to him being let go from the band and then his solo career. He kind of disappeared for a couple decades but a few years ago he began making appearances but it seems he still is making poor decisions and pissing off most of collaborators. Luckily his music found a way to shine through in various forms
The full Total Control album is awesome. Brilliant, I listen to it everyday! John Norum rules, no matter if it is in Europe or in his solo carreer. This guy is great and the songs makes me wanna shake my head!

I love Norum, but he hardly left them for dead. The next album went platinum, and Prisoners In Paradise is an album that John would have stayed in the band for if they had skipped the slicker half of countdown and Out Of This World gloss.
