Honestly when I first heard the album I didn't rock with it much, but I came back to it a few months later in a spot where I could really sit with it and appreciate it and fell in love with it. This is one of those albums that is just straight up art. If you aren't in a spot in your life where you can sit with it and experience it, it probably won't hit how it needs to. New Hollywood is ready for you, the question is, are you ready for New Hollywood?

I listened to it when it first dropped and I was like eh I like a couple songs , and then I listened to it again a couple months ago and I was like nah New Hollywood is fire . I liked songs I didn’t like at first 😭 He did a great job frfr . ❤
i hated the album it was god awful i hate the direction the christian industry is going in especially the christian hip hop industry its trying to be too much like the world when we’re called as believers to be set apart example of some of the lyrics in his album that don’t represent christ I love it when I'm floatin' Tequila help me go to sleep Honestly, I like it better when I ain't sober what part of that glories Jesus and his kingdom? what part of that says that he’s trying to spread the news about God? It doesn’t it does the exact opposite. If I was a non believer and i heard that it would push me even further away from Christ and the church.
The same album starts with "(You don't have to act here)". The goal of this project isn't to sound "Christian" but to show what being a Christian really is! Which is to constantly take up your cross and walk. I love Jesus but being a Christian doesn't make a problem cease but rather being a Christian is giving our problems to God and letting Him TAKE the lead and the struggles. But that doesn't mean we don't have to fight. In the same project RG say I like me better when I'm SOBER.

@@joshualouviere2784 I hear you... However our fleshly nature is the opposite of Christ! This album was made to show the healing process of a Christian not a perfect Christian. The Bible talks about drunkeness but that doesn't mean God isn't in it. This album can't be compared to the Bible at all but I say this to say that in a similar way that the Bible is against getting "drunk" the album talks about the negative effect and regrets of being in the place.
