My take on the beach scene: I mean Conrad always closes off when he’s hurting like Belly knew that before they got together so why is she surprised?? I know she just feeling insecure because after they kissed Conrad told her she was it for him and that they were infinity so if she knows he loves her and that when he’s sad she closes off then Conrad is correct like what girl you knew! I never understood why Belly thought it was her that was making him close off when his mom literally dying like what of course it’s not you!! Haha And technically she broke up with him so she left him lol but she is young and dumb so I’m not surprised she is acting like this
