You should have your friends throw things at your tender bits while you climb so you are ready for anything.

By pro do you mean competing at the highest levels? or repeating some of the hardest boulders/routes around the world and putting up crazy hard first ascents?
I'd say it's definitely doable! I started climbing almost a year ago and I just recently did a v10, it's going to take a lot of effort, good luck!
