  • At Nxu (formerly known as Atlis), we aim to improve the charging customer experience and increase access to adequate infrastructure, which we believe is fundamental to accelerating the adoption of electrified vehicles across sectors, especially our target market segment.
We've developed a proprietary megawatt charging handle and cable to make ultra-fast charging, and seamless user experience, a reality, and hope one day this becomes the standard.
While many in the industry have shared plans outlining conceptual megawatt charging systems, in the last month, Nxu has demonstrated its ability to charge over 1MW and debuted the design of its proprietary megawatt charging handle and cable, moving us that much closer to making reliable, ultra-fast charging a reality for those behind the wheels of consumer and commercial vehicles alike.
Check out the video above as Victor walks you through the team's landmark achievement!

15minute charging for something like a 100kWh battery, that is a solid goal. That would probably be good enough to make BEV truly usable on longer trips

Should I start my go fund me now for the truck?... cause I can't afford any new truck... but my 95 f350 with the 7.3 diesel still runs. But I don't drive it unless I absolutely need to, it just costs to much.

I like that you are pushing the technical boundaries by charging at a megawatt+ as well as being transparent on your testing. My question is why are you using a proprietary cahrge coupler and inlet? The Charin organization and many vehicle OEMs are aligning to MCS standard.-thanks

    Awesome!
If only generation could keep up with the rise in electrical demand with chargers like this type.
What's needed to convert all gas cars to EVs in the United States by 2050.
An additional 2200 Megawatts placed on line every 6 weeks until 2050.
Is that level of increase in genereration in progress?
    Nope. Not even close.

Megawatt charging is cool, and definitely what we need going forward... but where will the energy come from? Still fueled by fossil fuels, I imagine? Will it be a huge container with a massive generator in it? Or a contained with batteries, that are filled with a generator? Takes a lot of solar to put out a MW.

Gac aion with a graphene battery in summer 2021 over in China took 480kwhs. Video is on RUclips. 8mins 0-80% charge.
Tesla semi is over 1mwh and is in use TODAY. 70% of an estimated 910+kwh pack recharged in under 30 mins per an actual Frito lay semi truck driver at a recent tesla event stated publicly. Video under tesla joy, he also went over 485 miles on less than 1 charge. 👍🏻😎

To be honest Im not even interested in the truck as of now. What I'm interested in is THISSSS! Im amazed and proud to have invested and I hope the road to production is getting smoother. If anyone is interested about this charging, @Out of Spec Reviews visited their facility and has an in-depth look into how this works. I had some questions about where the current was being dumped, given there are no vehicles that can accept this much charge at this moment, and some other technical questions that they talk about in the video. Go Atlis!
