Did anything from this episode surprise you? Maybe you're new and had no idea about - or maybe a veteran that forgot/didn't know was happening at the time?
Yeah at 15:40 the way the recoil looks is... Cleaner? Has the SA-58 been nerfed that hard? It's nearly unusable ADS, and the pointfire is still rough but the screen isn't nearly as jerky as it seems now. Edit: Yeah I watched for 40 more seconds; rip SA-58
I love this series and it strikes me that one of the things that makes EFT so unique is the fact that it could actually warrant a series like this. Very few games actually have this kind of iteration.
League is a different game compared to what it is now, so is Dota, siege as well is completely different from when it came out and has better net code. The only reason every patch changed tarkov is cause it takes over 6 months for them to usually release a patch so it needs to be big and change things. I'm not complaining but I can point you to a few slow developing games that are completely different to when they were released, you could also do a series like this on those games since they had quite a few patches that changed those games metas quite a bit. The only reason you can't do a series like this on every game is cause we are now in the era of competitive games that must constantly release new content or people will drop it. And if you don't do something that changes the meta and keeps the core gameplay there people will just drop it.
@@lanster77schannel no its been quite slow, takes them just as long as most double A early access titles to push out content. Been playing since the early alpha and trust me it's been real slow.

I like how the trailers such as the one around the 5:00 mark make it look like gunfights are long and engaging, when in actuality they are over in seconds because either you head/eyes them or they do to you. Good fights in Tarkov are once in a blue moon.

My best memory is just several weeks-ish, in the timea after Shorelines upgade, checking out the entire area as a squad. It was my first raid running a modified M4A1, as I'd been sticking to AK74s and 74Us, because I love Goldeneye it being my first Bond Movie. We had a contact a few hundred metres ahead of us, a chunky bloke. He was closing the distance. We were towards the Gas Station/UAV side of the map, a few hundred from the hillside of the Resort, and he was just before the base of said hill. We'd decided on loadouts, and I had the CQC M4A1, so I was running a Brake of some sort- so, loud- and a Holosight. Yes I'd splurged on the Stock, Handguard and Grips, but, I'd gone budget on Scope and Muzzle because Holos were the best choice for CQC without the Flea, and I didn't have much of a choice in Muzzles. The 4 of us drop prone and begin to engage, as the guy had come to a dead-halt to draw his gun up to aim. We started going Cyclic after he took a couple of hits, turned, shitting his dacks, booking to the hillside. I think we had an AK74 for medium ranges, my M4A1 CQC, and 2x M4A1s set up for DMR duty. This guy got his leg taken from under him, so he dropped prone to try and get shot less and fix his lesser injuries. He died then and there. We make our way over... M4A1 from a PMC was on his back, nice 226 was in his holster. His head had a barely-damaged FAST-M.T. with the Mandibles and a God damned RSASS kitted for mid range combat, and he had loot in his Blackrock and Tri-Zip. We'd dropped a 3rd of his FORTs durability. I got a headshot AS he dropped prone. I was suddenly terribly, terribly RICH. We all begin to desynchronise madly, as we moved on, and by the time we got to the resort as a squad for the first time, I disconnect. I fade out to the sound of an angry Scav. Panicking like crazy I reconnect ASAP. I hear heavy breathing. I hear gunfire. My screen never made it. I died before I'd finished loading. To A.I. Turns out the Eo-Tech Holographic Sight kill, a headshot, was 157m. So, a win I guess.
