My only question is... Does it fit in a backpack? I'm having doubts on ordering one because my son is on the spectrum and he does not like carrying anything in his hands besides his lunchbox.
Yes! It fits in a standard backpack. But, like you already are aware of, it takes up most of the backpack. My son can fit the binder and a waterbottle in his backpack and carries his lunch box. That said, if you're putting it in a backpack, I think the Five Star binder holds up better. It only has 2" rings, but can hold just as much thanks to the larger divider compartment. My son was also able to shove his school chromebook into it.
