I’m a choir accompanist, and I found this video after searching for the best binder for page turning. I didn’t know there were different types of rings on binders. This was very educational. It seems like the O ring binder will provide me with the easy page turning during performances. I notice now that my current binder is a D ring, and it has been difficult turning the pages during rehearsals. Thanks for your video, you have changed the way I see binders.
I subscribed because you are fully dedicated to the video with well thought backgrounds full of binders, the topic of the video. I like hard working people with strong dedication.
It would be helpful if you discussed the detail and types of how the 3 rings join together as I think the one type where the ring inserts into the other like a pin rather that the jaw type closure,
hey i am building my workbook for counseling i bought a normal round ring 1 1/2" binder but the pages keep slipping in the corner of the ring and bending to the shape of the rings do you have a fix for that? blessed thanks
Hi Bob! I would suggest using either a Slanted D-Ring or D-Ring binder for your application as the paper will lie flat in the binder unlike traditional O-Ring binders. Also, if you can get one, try finding a QuickFit binder as it will allow you to easily customize the cover and spine of your binder. Thanks for your question and thanks for watching!
Question how do you choose the right binder and ring so that if your using protectors and sheet covers they don't stick out when the binder is closed. Example I have a project right now where I put army sheets and divers in a 1 inch and they stuck out with a 0 ring. But the material worked in a 1 inch. I tried a 2 inch and got the results but I need this to fit in a 1 or 1 and half inch binder. If I went to a one and half inch and used a d ring or slanted d ring or ezd ring which would solve my problem. Please help
I would probably suggest using a Heavy Duty D-Ring File Binder preferably with a hinging cover. Not much we can do about the weight, but having a heavy duty binder would definitely help. Thanks for watching!
Great question! A 3" ring binder typically holds between 600-650 pages, so you based on the number of pages of our notebooks, you can divide that number by 600-650. Note: for max capacity, you'll want to go one with a slant D Ring binder as that has the largest capacity (650 pages). Thanks for watching!
@@EdTchoi Thank you! Yeah I just didn't know if the wire spirals on the notebooks all stacked up would mean less space or not. I guess I'll just try it out :)
@@midhvn no problem! My only concern with wire spirals is that they might get tangled up if you put them together in a 3 ring binder. You might want to get notebooks with the three holes, but without a wire spiral. Let me know how it goes!
How about the hole spacing? My son just started summer school. All sheets that come home are consistently punched with holes that do not align with the binder and I have to redo with a hole puncher at home.
Interesting. I believe all the hole spacings should be standard and I'm wondering if something wasn't aligned with the sheets that your son is coming home with?
@@EdTchoi they are consistently off. I wonder if this is some European or French bs as the classes he is going is French. 🤔 But I searched a lot about this online and could not find anything.
@@LeoHolanda_CANBR yeah, it could be that they're using a different standard. Good old Wikipedia has some interesting info on the hole punch standards - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hole_punch#Standards

a point people get confused about , the page capacity / sheet capacity .. when they say page capacity is it for duplex printer pages ?
I believe page capacity refers to the total number of physical pages. Thanks for watching!
Hii, is that available in Indonesian Country?
Unfortunately I don't think this is available in Indonesia. Thanks for watching though!
