I’ve truthfully been listening to Shannon my entire life. Because of my father. He use to play her all the time. I’m not really close with my father. Never had a good relationship. Plus now he’s getting sick and it’s sad to see but. I’ll never forget the one thing he’s given me in life. The only thing kinda unfortunately to say. And it’s music. He gave me music. Such as this. I quite literally enjoy every song of hers. And I don’t usually do that with artist. But every single damn song by her is so beautiful and unique. When I was going through my own depression and emotions the music I’d turn too was Shannon. She was there apart of my life during so many crazy events. I sleep To her music. She hasn’t released anything since 2019. Her providence album. I’m really really hoping she’s okay and doing well. I wish I had the opportunity to speak with her man. Truly would be a dream. She’s genuinely my favorite artist if not top 5. Real life. Woman artist kill it more than men most times and I’m fr. I hope to god she has an album cooking up soon. I miss her music so bad and I need more of it. But if not if she’s done then. Man she’s had a legendary run. Each of her albums are so unique and just different. I listened too let in the light when I was trying to find my self. I was in a dark place. Man. I could go on for hours explaining all her music. It’s crazy she’s been creating for so long and just recently (2018) I started finding her music. I love Shannon wright man truly.
