Thanks Si for your vulnerability. I jump like you do. I am practicing to loosen up a bit too. It's encouraging. Thanks Blake for your input. "Super nice!"
It's helpful seeing someone try techniques who can't do it. That's me and the level Blake was showing him at made so much sense. Could you make this low level stuff a regular feature. Sure you'd get plenty of volunteers.
I have seen countless videos on how to ride a pump track and berms and this is by far the best video. The day I saw this I hit the pump track and by God I was doing it. And those berms never felt better. Thanks 😊
Awesome learning! ...with humility from an elite-experienced road-biker champ and a top-notch friendly down-to-earth instruction from a legendary free-rider! This is how it's done! So inspiring!
Yeah, Was Also wondering if it would be still there, cause they’re all busy shooting and the bike was always out of frame. Well except for this part. Hahahaha
Blake, I have shared this video with all my cycling buds to learn your berm techniques (easily transferred to our mountain biking). You are truly graceful to watch and I love how you break this down and piece the teaching together for Si. Keep bringing us the walk through's with others. And thanks Si for acting like those of us who need the exact same training.
Just as an observer (you both ride WAY better than I do) I see Si's feet forward and toes pointed down on the jumps whereas Blake's feet are really flat with heals pointed down. I mention that because as I am just starting out and learning, I'm watching your vids and noticing that even the slightest change can make all the difference. Thanks guys!
I quit riding @ 16 years old when I got my driver's license, now @ 33 I wanna get back into it. I use to ride bmx street & never experienced a pump track. Now that my town has one I'm anxious to get into it. Picked up a Trek Roscoe7 over the weekend, thanks for the lesson.
Blake is such a great teacher and Si a great pupil. Brilliant combo! I actually accidentally got air on my cx bike a few days ago going over a big root. Obviously just a tiny bit of air but so much fun!
Brill. I usually zoom past pump tracks but not any more. You are a great coach esp keep everything positive. You know exactly how to speed up skill development and raise confidence. Steve Allen
As far as I know Si is also an MTB rider hence this learning jump thing is that he's preparing for something more than epic... unprecedented even...hmmm🤔🙂🙂
A very useful video, I have a new dirt jump bike coming in the next week or so and my almost 50 year old self definitely could use pointers on pump tracking and jumping.
Greetings from Oregon the only pump track that’s close to me in my location is in Salem Oregon about 60 miles away I’ll definitely take this video along with me with my technology and put it to practice on the pump track
I’m laying down a challenge to Blake. Come to Telford, Shropshire and teach a 56 year old man how to successfully navigate a pump track (the one in Madeley). Drinks are on me!
I got a question for Blake, has he ever in his entire history suffered from really bad pain from his wrists due to riding? And if so how did he solved it? I'm 18 and I've been riding for 10+ years, and only recently it started happening, anyway your channel is a great source of information and you guys thought me a lot, thank you
These videos of teaching GCN members is great as we can see ourselves in them and see the mistakes we make!
I was about to comment this! So true
yep maybe some random follower invited to ride with blake
Ditto
Most of us watching have the road cycling capabilities of the gmbn crowd and the offroad abilities of the gcn crew
Thanks Si for your vulnerability. I jump like you do. I am practicing to loosen up a bit too. It's encouraging. Thanks Blake for your input. "Super nice!"

Great to know 😉 thanks for the feedback
So true!!
@@gmbn I volunteer as tribute 😂
Global Mountain Bike Network this person is right. You should do more how to’s teaching people that can’t
My feelings too.
Would love to see GMBN team up with GCN more often. :-)
I have seen countless videos on how to ride a pump track and berms and this is by far the best video. The day I saw this I hit the pump track and by God I was doing it. And those berms never felt better. Thanks 😊
"Pop that seat up a bit" Lol.
I love these cross over video's. I watch GCN as well and I'd love to see some GMBN presenters on there.
4:03 love the street art on the right
GMBN + GCN collabs are best videos. I learn most from them.
Great format - much better to see someone trying to learn than only to see the pro's who make everything look easy!
Awesome learning! ...with humility from an elite-experienced road-biker champ and a top-notch friendly down-to-earth instruction from a legendary free-rider! This is how it's done! So inspiring!
The "artwork" on that one corner is Perfection.
loving a particular piece of the graffiti in the background hahaha
Nearly in every shot
Haha I just spotted it as well 😆
saw it straight away
3:20 That roadbike just sat in the background...
Si and Blake actually used that on the pump track. Its on the gcn show 305.
haha, I 've just noticed a random madone!
Yeah, Was Also wondering if it would be still there, cause they’re all busy shooting and the bike was always out of frame. Well except for this part. Hahahaha

Practice practice practice, Blake is great at explaining what works and how to do it. Learned a lot from Si and Blake from both channels
I'd like to see Simon's progression after some amount of practice! And maybe a pumptrack/endurance race..? :D
Si has such a funny dry sense of humor. Blake the top lad as ever. Jumps are effortless for him! 🇿🇼 🍻
Can we see si get his own jump bike and come back to the channel more often? This video was wicked fun!
Can't wait to see Si get taught by Blake how to ride Whistler on a DH bike and see him do Freeride 😂😂
I quit riding @ 16 years old when I got my driver's license, now @ 33 I wanna get back into it.

Picked up a Trek Roscoe7 over the weekend, thanks for the lesson.
Great to the coming together of riders from different disciplines working together. Love it
Finally a video that talks about the body mechanics of riding
I like the way you bring in other disciplines (GCN) who I watch a lot. It's all about learning and fun. Brill!
Thanks Amin!
Collaboration of the best two of the most humble-overall-nice-guys in two different cycling disciplines! Happy to watch this all day! :-D
"case a berm" Si pulling out the whole MTB wordbook
lmao
Probably my favorite collaboration with GCN on GMBN!!
Man I love these GMBN and GCN videos. Keep up the good work guys!
Class video. I like the chemistry between Si and Blake. Very natural and respectful. Hopefully see more of the duo
Blake is such a great teacher and Si a great pupil. Brilliant combo! I actually accidentally got air on my cx bike a few days ago going over a big root. Obviously just a tiny bit of air but so much fun!
Its nice to see Si not wearing Lycra for once. I didn't know, that he had a Jeans in his wardrobe. ;-)
Best tutorial video you guys have made. So much better than a pro doing it precisely every time. More of this please, even more in depth.
Brill. I usually zoom past pump tracks but not any more. You are a great coach esp keep everything positive. You know exactly how to speed up skill development and raise confidence.
Steve Allen
Si should be officially seconded to GMBN, he is the ultimate amphibian presenter!
I love seeing Si here he's always a lot of fun ;) and the video is fantastic
As far as I know Si is also an MTB rider hence this learning jump thing is that he's preparing for something more than epic... unprecedented even...hmmm🤔🙂🙂
#GMBN #GCN greatly enjoy when both channels collaborate. Awesome to see!
Blake - Tailwhips
Simon - ...
Hahaha loved the video!
absolutely loving all the gmbn/gcn collabs lately!!!!!!
As a life time roadie, pump tracks have always fascinated me. I could sit and watch the kids on my local one all day. One day.....
I really enjoy these types of videos Blake! Please do more!!
A very useful video, I have a new dirt jump bike coming in the next week or so and my almost 50 year old self definitely could use pointers on pump tracking and jumping.
started to get the hang of it today and it felt so good ,just the high speed turns i need to get the hang of now
Really helpful video on how to start on pump tracks imo, so thankyou for uploading this!
Time to get Blake in a time trial setup :). That was great thanks!
i love pumping on mountain trails, it helps a lot
More of coach Blake video!! How bout you teach doddy/neil how to do big jumps? HAHAHA
These small pump tracks are so fun and cool. Wish we have these here in Vancouver
Gcn Gmbn crossovers are the best!! These two are great together
Si just described _exactly_ how i felt the first time i rode a dirt jumper
Hes exactly at my level of suckness, super helpful! Thanks for sharing!!!
This is very informative and also a lot like Bilbo teaching Gandalf how to jump.
GCN teach Blake how to road cycling :)
He will be a good sprinter..
Teach road biking yeah must be so hard 🙃🥴🥴👍
@@markevans1259 If you wana do it like a pro then yea its hard.
Yes i know mate just joking 🙃
So literally just pedal?
Weel done, Blake ! Some valuable tips... So much fun on a pumptrack.
I could not wait have to watch it in school
I haven't been this jealous of Si since Matt was hosting.
excellent and timely there is a new pump track 1/2 mile or so from my house .. these tips should come in handy
GO Si!...Stick with Blake,he'll have you pro in no time..
I miss my local pump track! Looks like you guys had a blast!
Si's grin at 8:07 is me watching GMBN presenters jump (bunny hop). Gotta work on my bunny hops.
This needs to be a series, teach Si jump higher!
Good tips, despite the 170mm travel I have seemingly working against me. Sometimes take my old bmx racer out.
Very helpful video. I definitely don't practice pump tracks enough, this is very encouraging. Great video
Greetings from Oregon the only pump track that’s close to me in my location is in Salem Oregon about 60 miles away I’ll definitely take this video along with me with my technology and put it to practice on the pump track
I love the way Blake said “faster” as “fauster” I’ve gotten so use to it 😂😂
Love the collaborations!!! Cool Video!
4:36-5:00 These kids' moments! Adorable!
Both my fav presenter, its fun see them both
6:38 got to say, that's a Nice trackstand

Thanks Blake and Si.
Great video, Si is great for crossover videos!!
What a great video. Guys this rocks!!!
Great video, Really simplifies things.
next to blakes elbow on the right 10:23
The path of less resistance :)... so cool. :D
Now I miss my Scott Voltage. I never thought pump track could be fun.
I’m laying down a challenge to Blake. Come to Telford, Shropshire and teach a 56 year old man how to successfully navigate a pump track (the one in Madeley). Drinks are on me!
Excellent video!!!!
More of these please.
This is also my local pumptrack I found this vidio useful also being on home surfaces
This is so relatable!
Blake is the more bad ass...great video
Blake you totally mad e me want to get some coaching. Thanks for a great video!
Just hit 71 and pump tracks are my next challenge.
I'd love to have a week "camp" with Blake. I know my skills would take a huge jump (no pun intended)
Forever searching for this pump track! - you guys should check out the new pump track at hillfields in Bristol! Unreal! - rad video as per!
that was some great progression
Epic video love the pump track
That Madonne in the rear 😍😍😍

Also, a great thing to improve your pump track skills is having a pump track in your town, which unfortunately is not common at all here in Italy -__-
Great to see that your in Bristol man hopefully I can meet h there one day
That was so good!!!
I remember jumping like that back in the day haha
Love the Graffiti
I'd bring out a bottle of San Miguel for Si (wink wink) if my supply hasn't run out, after a long ride yesterday. 😁
did anyone else notice that really nice road bike in the back at 3:06 ?
