The *only* thing that upsets me about him dying is that he took the *names, what happened to them, and their burial spots* of the women in those other photographs of his to the grave, because now that he's gone, the women in those photographs will *never* be found or properly laid to rest, and their families will never be able to tell their loved ones goodbye or find peace like the others were. Those women will be Jane Does, forever linked to a monster, and that's the saddest, most upsetting part for me.

Not sure bout other states, but here in NC, people like him are protected, and a lot of times isolated until they find a safe place for them unless they're on death row, which probably means they'll be iso'd indefinitely.
I've watched pdfiles get more lenient sentences, quicker parole, visitation clearance, access to better educational programs, priority on bunks at better facilities, and even get privileges like work release and home passes(until a few years ago when a sx offender actually committed grape while off the compound) for decades now.
I'm never surprised when monsters somehow escape the consequences they deserve in this country. And it only continues because nobody puts as much effort into people like them as they do into all other accused criminals. I have zero faith in our justice system and most of our citizens when it comes to the subject.

A lot of these people have had their own trauma, once dealt with, are actually reformed. Some not, like this guy, or some of the other serial killers, etc, but that's just like anything else. Personally, i think that life in prison is a more harsh punishment than death anyway. Life in prison for people like this is a living Hell. They either have to spend their time in complete isolation or they face getting abused violently every day that they spend with other inmates. And while they are in isolation, they are at the complete mercy of the prison guards. How would they know that someone isn't pissing in their crappy food every single day?

What makes any killer/rapist any 'more evil' than another? They keep repeating that he was one of the most evil of all killers, and I just have to kinda wonder what exactly that means. Evil is a by product of an incredibly sick and damaged, maladaptive psyche - and while what this guy did is truly heinous and disgusting, I think putting him on some pedestal of 'more evil than other killers' is sensational and arbitrary.

Evil is a bullshit term to use because evil is something we cannot understand and its something that just happens. Others have posted that the park ranger thing was an inaccuracy in this story. It was a female park employee, not a ranger. And the girl was not being dragged at that point. The female witness observed the girl being followed by the weird guy which looked out of place, but she had no idea how dire the situation was.

The fault of all this Falls strictly on the head of the parole board they let this monster back out they had no right and they had information that he kept reoffending of course he's going to do it again they keep letting him out so why wouldn't he do it again

Yes, they should have been held at least partially responsible for his future actions, but they all have absolute immunity for whatever they do. The trouble is that the entire system - our entire 'government' is ruled by the worst criminals on the planet from the very top down!

To this serial killer who went to prison for life was released a short time afterwards, the people who released this monster knew what he was & still got released to kill again.
This is like letting Charlie Manson & Jeffery Dahmer loose on the streets to kill again.
These people who release these animals to kill again have no brains at all.
I very happy that Rodney James Alcala 7-24-2021 & can only hope that he is suffering too.

And things are not the way they are by accident. Everything is the way it is by design. The very worst criminals on the planet are those that have created and run the systems we all have to live with.

The most appalling side of his existence is that he was allowed to torture, rape, and kill for such a long time.

I remember this guy. He used to cut my aunts grass. He did a good job and mowed a good yard. I dont believe he murdered anyone in the neighborhood but im not sure.
