Not sure bout other states, but here in NC, people like him are protected, and a lot of times isolated until they find a safe place for them unless they're on death row, which probably means they'll be iso'd indefinitely. I've watched pdfiles get more lenient sentences, quicker parole, visitation clearance, access to better educational programs, priority on bunks at better facilities, and even get privileges like work release and home passes(until a few years ago when a sx offender actually committed grape while off the compound) for decades now. I'm never surprised when monsters somehow escape the consequences they deserve in this country. And it only continues because nobody puts as much effort into people like them as they do into all other accused criminals. I have zero faith in our justice system and most of our citizens when it comes to the subject.
The only solution for child predators and rapists is the electric chair. These people cant be reformed. Why should society support them in prison? This money can be served in other areas.
I know that's a popular take, but that can't possibly be true. Repeats among paroled rapists, murderers, etc is actually quite low. A lot of these people have had their own trauma, once dealt with, are actually reformed. Some not, like this guy, or some of the other serial killers, etc, but that's just like anything else. Nothing is perfect in the system. Evaluation should be better.
Actually, they say that it is cheaper to support them for life than the process of execution. It may be hard to understand how this could possibly be, but that is what they say. Personally, i think that life in prison is a more harsh punishment than death anyway. Life in prison for people like this is a living Hell. They either have to spend their time in complete isolation or they face getting abused violently every day that they spend with other inmates. And while they are in isolation, they are at the complete mercy of the prison guards. How would they know that someone isn't pissing in their crappy food every single day?
I spent more time in prison for possession charges .. blows my mind. And how do you get a job teaching under a fake name when people struggle to find menial jobs with their own names ?!

What makes any killer/rapist any 'more evil' than another? They keep repeating that he was one of the most evil of all killers, and I just have to kinda wonder what exactly that means. Evil is a by product of an incredibly sick and damaged, maladaptive psyche - and while what this guy did is truly heinous and disgusting, I think putting him on some pedestal of 'more evil than other killers' is sensational and arbitrary.
Evil is a bullshit term to use because evil is something we cannot understand and its something that just happens. They are not evil, they are psychotic, they are sociopaths or perhaps there just is something wrong in their brain but they are in most cases created. Basically every serial killer has suffered some form of trauma, falling down stairs, getting hit in the head , severe fevers or emotional damage. Or Like that teenage girl that was given prozac and then killed a child. She also was most certainly was called evil when it wasnt even her fault.
I feel that way about a lot of the killers they've featured on this show. Yes they've all committed horrendous crimes and murders, but they're no different than many other murderers. They should be covering pubic figures who run pedophile rings and murder children in the most horrific ways possible so that they can harvest their blood with the peak amount of adrenaline and drink it while they worship Satan. Yeesh. I sound like one of those conspiracy crackpots 😅
Well, I remember hearing a few different times that Acala hits every check mark on the psychological traits of violent psychopaths list. I think there are 11. And if I remember correctly no other serial killer has hit more that 4. Well whatever score the other serial killers got on that test. Acala is the only one to ever have every single trait on that list.
@@myeyeswentdeaf6213 That's rather interesting, thanks for the info. I still believe the terminology of "more evil" is speculation and probably being used here to sensationalize more than anything else.

Now days in most places in the world the legal system seems to be more on the side of the criminal than the victim. How in the actual F does someone violate their parole by selling drugs to a minor, likely w the intention of raping and killing her, go back to jail and again get out in another ridiculously short time frame?! 3. How is he a wanted criminal yet appears on a dating tv show using his known criminal real name and no one clues in?! 4. How does a park ranger see a little girl being dragged in the woods by a man, ignores it and just goes about his day like that’s no biggie?! The female witness observed the girl being followed by the weird guy which looked out of place, but she had no idea how dire the situation was.
Thank you REAL CRIME for sharing/posting.
I do not believe there is any rehabilitation for sex offenders.
So hold on, the trooper saw him dragging a body and yet did nothing 😡😡😡
How did he not get the absolute shit beaten out of him in prison
Or the Lorena Bobbitt method
I’m with you on that!
alot of them don’t want to change… but there are a small amount who do change for the better… but most are simply not willing to change…
Your dad leaving you doesn’t turn one into a serial killer. Clearly there was more than a few screws loose.
doesn’t help though…
I spent more time in prison for possession charges .. blows my mind. And how do you get a job teaching under a fake name when people struggle to find menial jobs with their own names ?!

That's why he was able to kill so many ppl for so long . On top of that he was military trained to kill with his bare hands quickly ... So these victims had little to no chance to get away and ever tell on him .
It baffles me that it took FOREVER to arrest this guy
Conviction overturned 3 times. Proves criminal's right outweigh the victims. My heart goes out to his victims, victims families, the known and unknown. I hope your suffering was brief. Rest assured his suffering will be for eternity. Thank GOD the girl on the dating game turned down the date, otherwise she might have become a victim as well. I just don't understand the park ranger not approaching them and finding out what was going on. If he did not want to get involved he should have reported it. Disgusting.
