Personally I agree with Kris Pistole. First of all, there was a strong story, strong animation and strong music in the first one which he points out. Them elements in this one, especially the animation, are much yuckier than I remember it, compared to the epic first one.
Actually, the animation for Snow White was better because they actually had shading that blended perfectly with the style. This movie used solid colors that did not contrast well with the background, giving it that solid 2D on a 3D backdrop visual. It's like the Mona Lisa with a solid white stick figure painted in the middle, you can't help but look at the problem (it doesn't help that the main focus was the mistake.)
Even if the original hadn't been one of Disney's best this sequel would be painful. It's not just the crappy music, weird plot that contradicts everything, even the animation quality is a hint that the creators don't have high hopes... With all that it seems like a weird thing to pick at but what the hell did Esmerelda mean by looking again 'like you did with me'. There has been nothing to suggest Phoebus had existing prejudice against gypsies (and even was confused by Frollo's) not to mention that there was no figurative or literal second look; he was smitten at first sight
(8:40) Oh my god, what happened to Sarouche(?)'s design?! He looks like he's friggin' melting! How can a film constantly screw up it's animation this badly??!!
Have you seen the Beauty and the beast ones? They are so godawful it seems inconceivable this one could be worse, lol. But I haven't seen this one so I guess it's possible 😨😁

Lion King 2 is actually the best, and probably only best, sequel ever made by Disney. Epic songs, interesting plot, same animation as the original, and it continues the story rather than repeat.

Madeline is blackmailed by the villain and forced to manipulate Quasimodo even though she tried to explain herself. Quasimodo doesn't want hear it and Madeline gets arrested. The villain steals a bell that has an enormous amount of jewels inside of it and kidnaps the kid. Madeline and Quasimodo save him. The villain gets arrested and to never be seen again after that. Quasimodo falls in love with Madeline and they live happily ever after. What do you expect? It's a Disney sequel for crying out loud. Disney sequels are hardly ever as good as the originals everyone knows this.

I agree and in my opinion I thought that Pocahontas 2 was the worst. I'm glad there was a happy ending for Quasimodo and I love the song " I'm gonna love you" and the others. Maybe they could've done better but hey life goes on.

Holy Baloney the animations and colour pallet look like this was made when Snow White was released.This movie is basically pissing on the original.
