Actually I totally think that Fortune and Endeavor make more sense as far as indian roads are considered. Either a BMW or Audi or Mercedes just for Brand value but a Skoda make a think twice. I love skoda but still think that Sedans are not doing good in indian market.
Yes I think in this whole growing craze for SUV to sit higher over the ground is ok personally I will also take a suv in this price range.but I am also a driving enthusiast so I think if if skoda give skoda octavia engine In this at least in Sportline variant that would be more relevant to take thi.

If anyone want an Audi A6 for half the price with all the bells and whsitles and an even better looking cabin and design with excellent driving dynamics, then those people should consider this sedan as their pick because none of its rivals offer this kind of elegant design, space and importantly the price range its in.
I was just advising skoda if they do it will be more relevant for sure and sportline all design elements are just looking skoda octavia vrs 245 but engine is not matching that specs of 247bhp and 370Nm of torque. And luxury department will be handled by l&k (laurine klement)
The sportline variant should be the higher variant it looks sporty and sexy. Hmm it can attract show for driven buyers not the one who wants rugged Appel. Personally i would choose this over the fortuner. But superb having the power it doesn’t wheelspin when launched
Indian market drives on the size and on the road presence factor.the bigger car u own...the successful you are..I mean nobody buys an SUV to go off-roading(most buyers) so it comes down to the question of do u want to be seen in a large intimidating car or a slick VFM sedan....I would definitely pick the former (hope I win the t-shirt 😊)
Sedan At 30lakhs, May be not but when it comes to performance i would still go for a sedan just because of the fact that they are really great. No body roll. There are 2 types of car buyers in India. 1. Who looks for value for money, size(physical appearance), mileage. 2. People who just looks at the engine specifications, feature rich and good ride quality. I belong to the 2nd group and skoda superb sportline variant is surely a hit.
People are more inclined towards the show off. In that case they probably go for an SUV not any Sedan. But when it comes to quality buyers in my opinion they probably go for the Sedan may be a Sportline when raw performance needed and L&K for luxury. I think there is still good market for Sedan in India and Volkswagen should bring an updated Passat In India just to make a good competition to the segment with some choices for the buyers

Fortuner, Endeavour, bmw , mercedes and the audi are too common and one can spot any of them on the road easily. SUPERB - not common and hard to spot one on the road that's a car i would definitely buy over the "Bhed Chaal". SUVs SUVs SUVs all the way, wait till a Superb comes around and smokes you right away.

Definitely relevant. The Superb is an E-Class for half it's price. With better highways, there's hasn't been a time better to enjoy a sedan like the Superb.
I own a Black Skoda Superb L&K 1.8 TSI(2019 dec) , I had test driven many cars before buying this one have to say no car were closer to Superb for it’s Aggressive engine ,smooth & Lighting fast DSG gearbox,good looking(it’s an head turner)comfort and practicality at the same time. No cars can match the driving pleasure of an SEDAN Suv’s are just over-rated in fact we(family) never bought an SUV. As an Sedan lover present scenario makes me sad as Sedans are getting low importance. BTW great review.
The only sedan where I can put in 2 bicycles in 5 minutes without dismantling even the wheels. Well, the Octavia too. The boot notch design is just brilliant
The L&K is designed to give an old world luxury experience, which analogue dials give and not digital screens. Same way the sport line is designed to be sporty at all times so it's tuned to a single engine mode, which is basically sports mode, which is driver centric. In the L&K which might primarily be chauffer driven, the owner would probably have the driver drive in ECO all the time, and probably switch into sports mode for the weekend trips to the golf course, indeed simply clever.
We cant compare cars and tractors can we? No matter how many tractors (SUV lol) comes along a sedan is a car. For all the guys who are comfortable with the size of what hangs between their legs sedan is the car. With those who feel small need to compensate with the tractor 😂

It's the handy performance, pure driving experience, excellent seating arrangement you would be indulge in. Also to mention space and features you would always be thankful of. And this is what makes it distinct and unique. SUV's are practical but if you want to be enjoying your ride everyday, Skoda is the choice. I am saying this after completing 100,000 kms and 10 years with Skoda Laura :-)
Actually yes, because Fortuner and Endeavor made a good market value and if people are looking for a 40Lakhs car either they go for BMW/Mercedes at 5-10Lakhs more or Fortuner/Endeavor. They fell better on Indian Road conditions. But still, there is a separate fanbase for Skoda/Volkswagen cars like Superb/Passat. I will go for Fortuner if I am looking for Some big and bulky road presence but when it comes to raw performance I would prefer a Sedan at this price because they justify my money at that particular need definitely a "Superb Sportline".
A car by default is a sedan. Any other version is a modified and flawed version of it. But in today's day and age, people just are not seeing the point in them . Cars like Skoda superb are holding the pride high of the elegant sedans even as they know that it is approaching a near end. If a person had 30 lakhs and wants a premium luxury sedan with every possible amenity be it comfortable spacious seats...be it 11 speakers with ambient lighting...etc. he/she would not take a second thought to buy such a car. On contrary, it also varies from person to person what exactly he/she wants or requires...such as a sedan/hatchback/SUV...
Anytime any day sedan is always good choice over SUV, except the road clearance and hight sedan still a good buy... Everyone may not need sporty edition may be car enthusiasts go for it.. I think Skoda had been selling the Octavia and Superb with the same engine for a long period of time in India. Counting on their approach, if the same engine option is available in Octavia at its launch in the latter part of the year, I think it will make Octavia a much wiser driver-focused value for money car.
an enthusiast will always go for superb ....most of the fortuner buyers buy it because they feel inferior sitting in a low height car like skoda superb and other sedans and they think that fortuner has reputation and all the luxury they need ...they think that space available in the car is the only luxury you need 🤣🤣but at the same time practicality is also important ...sedans like superb may not have a lot problem even in indian conditions ,still the privilege of being able to conquer a number of terrains makes people buy fortuner ...but one should not buy a fortuner just for road presence ...we are paying money to buy car then car should be benefecial and value for money for us and we are not spending money just for people to look at our car...bith cars are not cheap and one should take decision wisely considering his/her needs btw i will go for superb
Skoda superb offers unmatched comfort in the 30 to 35lac price segment. The biggest problem with SUVs specially the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour is the body roll and lack of premium ness.Rear seat is so good that I could say it is a good bargain for a Merc e class. If you look at compact SUVs like Audi Q3 or BMW X1, they aren’t that comfortable. The only thing that attracts to such SUVs is the brand value. Look at Merc Gla , it is such a compact vehicle. It lacks performance and its interior is just okay. Also, superb sport line fills in for a sporty sedan. Of course something like a superb VRs would have been even better. Not just SUVs, I think skoda superb is relevant when compared against the Germans. Be it Merc C class or Audi A4, they do not provide that rear seat comfort for the boss. In short, Skoda Superb is not just relevant against SUVs, it is the force behind Revivalism of Luxury Sedan in India.

The relevance of a car like this will always find place in the corporate world. If someone wants to be shauffer driver I don’t see any better option than this. Also sedans have a distinctive sporty nature that SUV’s miss one due to the obvious body roll. So all and all, I don’t think it will sell in numbers as high as an SUV but will always be the best option in its niche.This adds to its luxurious feel of being unique.
Any one with 30 lakhs can own an SUV now but only a few will be chosen to own a sedan car like superb. You plan to gift an SUV to your dad but you definitely wish to gift a sedan to your son. I have skoda superb from 2010, i took the test drive of BMW, Benz, Jaguar to replace my 2010 superb, but all of them failed in front of my superb, Superb have the DSG which all the above cars dont have, Superb is really superb. I love driving my superb, you can blindly go for the superb.
There are people who takes SUV for that on paper 200mm clearance while 99% people never took those to offroad, and for bad patches 164mm is more than enough, for me its always Superb sportline because its more sensible and boot space man even SUV's don't have such boot
Sedan at 30lakhs. Yeah ✌, Sedan cars are comfortable, sporty, very stable at high speeds and less body role. which we don't get from other cars. So 30 lakhs is not an issue to buy a luxury sedan.
Although SUV are good for terrain conditions and their high ground clearance protect us from extreme condition roads ... but at the same time sedan is famous for his classy looks and the attention it brought to the driver is really exciting... The real fun lies in driving sedan class like skoda superb with 187 BHP . Sedan class sticks to the road like fevicoal and at the same time u can enjoy the extreme acceleration and speed of this lovely car .
SUV maybe more comfortable and luxurious but the sedans low driving position for road sticking driving pleasure will beat suv anytime, so superb’s always will be the first choice for that money 💰

Definitely a 30 lakh sedan is relevant at any day... A very few gonna take their 30 lakh SUV off the road... But definitely 100% people who spend 30 lakh for a sedan can enjoy the comfort of a sedan & also they can enjoy the corners whenever they want to
I would take l&k over sports any day even though I'm a enthusiast. I just can't compromise the speakers you get in the l&k version. I know the impact of good quality brand speaker system with tweeters to the mood of your driving. All thanks to my Tiago Harman kardon speaker system. It beats the Honda City and the Swift. I drive the Tiago just for the sake of good music system.
Superb is best in class....it’s space is even better than other German luxury cars....understated elegant....suvs give rigid appearance.....sedans are meant for luxury...🤑❤️

there are two types of people on earth i believe. either you love royal enfield or surely you are a dominar guy for sure..... same exists for this price segment where you can drive american ford butcher or japanese reliability. But some still urge for that german engineering with sensible pricing. Yes suv is an Suv yet not many would believe touring in a sedan for long is much comfortable untill you planning for spiti or laddakh trails. I chosed the 2021 L&K. Lower Price, sub woofer and virtual cockpit. Sportline is out of carachter since this is not a sports car, more of a cruiser.

The relevance of a car like this will always find place in the corporate world. If someone wants to be shauffer driver I don’t see any better option than this. Also sedans have a distinctive sporty nature that SUV’s miss one due to the obvious body roll.
So all and all, I don’t think it will sell in numbers as high as an SUV but will always be the best option in its niche.This adds to its luxurious feel of being unique.
Any one with 30 lakhs can own an SUV now but only a few will be chosen to own a sedan car like superb. You plan to gift an SUV to your dad but you definitely wish to gift a sedan to your son. That explains it all. Sedan is for men who are young by heart. Unfortunately my dad owns a SUV and I can’t even afford to buy a car T-shirt... So please give me the car T-shirt. Haha

I have skoda superb from 2010, i took the test drive of BMW, Benz, Jaguar to replace my 2010 superb, but all of them failed in front of my superb, Superb have the DSG which all the above cars dont have, Superb is really superb. I love driving my superb, you can blindly go for the superb.

There are people who takes SUV for that on paper 200mm clearance while 99% people never took those to offroad, and for bad patches 164mm is more than enough, for me its always Superb sportline because its more sensible and boot space man even SUV's don't have such boot
Sedan at 30lakhs. Yeah ✌, Sedan cars are comfortable, sporty, very stable at high speeds and less body role. which we don't get from other cars. So 30 lakhs is not an issue to buy a luxury sedan.

Although SUV are good for terrain conditions and their high ground clearance protect us from extreme condition roads ... but at the same time sedan is famous for his classy looks and the attention it brought to the driver is really exciting... The real fun lies in driving sedan class like skoda superb with 187 BHP . Sedan class sticks to the road like fevicoal and at the same time u can enjoy the extreme acceleration and speed of this lovely car .
SUV maybe more comfortable and luxurious but the sedans low driving position for road sticking driving pleasure will beat suv anytime, so superb’s always will be the first choice for that money 💰

I killed my skoda superb.. if the skoda petrol engine gets screwed, the only option is to replace it, even service centers wobt repair it and it ll cost you approx 7 lacs.

Definitely a 30 lakh sedan is relevant at any day... A very few gonna take their 30 lakh SUV off the road... But definitely 100% people who spend 30 lakh for a sedan can enjoy the comfort of a sedan & also they can enjoy the corners whenever they want to
I would take l&k over sports any day even though I'm a enthusiast. I just can't compromise the speakers you get in the l&k version. I know the impact of good quality brand speaker system with tweeters to the mood of your driving. All thanks to my Tiago Harman kardon speaker system. It beats the Honda City and the Swift. I drive the Tiago just for the sake of good music system.

there are two types of people on earth i believe. either you love royal enfield or surely you are a dominar guy for sure..... same exists for this price segment where you can drive american ford butcher or japanese reliability. But some still urge for that german engineering with sensible pricing. Yes suv is an Suv yet not many would believe touring in a sedan for long is much comfortable untill you planning for spiti or laddakh trails. This cars can attain a high speed unlike body on frame suvs.... So this people who puts there 30plus lacks on roads knows where they gonna head next..... ( i hope i win your tshirt!)
