@pinkharmony9796 I mean she is not dead I saw her 3 times in my life I don't know her or anything about her I saw her December 13th 2009 then again January 1st 2010 last time I saw her was March 30th 2010 I have not seen her in over 13 years, I guess she would been around 42 years old she still looks the same she had some surgeries done to her body, she from what I saw is married with 3 or 4 kids who are probably 18 or 19 now , I never had a chance to actually talk to her.
Very strong young woman to not take chemo. I believe she wanted to live her life as normal as possible.
Right b/c sometimes the chemo makes it worse.

lil fun fact: Michelle was actually 8 years older than her Family Matters co-stars, Kellie, Darius, & Jaleel White. so while she was on the show, she was seemlessly acting (with a cancer diagnosis!!) the same age as her costars, who were all college aged irl during her time with them. she was acting from a disadvantaged perspective but she juggled all of this until she couldn't anymore. every time I hear of an entertainer continuing their career with a secret cancer diagnosis, I'm reminded of the time that Chadwick Boseman did it & was shooting entire blockbusters. Most good shows or movies centered around teens usually have one or two babyfaced actors who are much older then their peers.
And She was still playing high school ages whenever needed into the 90s ( I think she was almost 30 when she played a 16 year old on Thea)!!! Michelle was FINE until the end. Even in sickness she was still FINE. She looked GREAT.

She was my favorite her and Jaleel White, they made that show so fun to watch, I still watch them to this day, she passed way too young and I just know by watching her she was a very sweet and caring young lady and very strong too Gone but she will always be remembered RIP Michelle ❤❤

She was very vocal about why she did not want chemo. She honestly wanted to have a child someday and treatment would destroy that option for her. That is why she refused treatment and this is not a rumor. I heard it from her own mouth.
And if you heard it from her mouth and that’s something she didn’t tell the world then the video is correct when it said that it’s unknown why she opted out or certain treatments. Don’t know what you are looking to gain with this comment.

I’m terribly sorry I was totally unaware of that. I saw her make some remarks on some daytime television show when I was standing in line at the department store watching it on television above. My sister had chemo and radiation treatments. The side affects of the treatments were horrific and the end still haunts me. I think Michelle had quality rather than quantity of life.
As i work in the medical field some people will never understand how or why a person wont chose chemo. I just say people should be able to live with their own choices! ❤

She did Not want chemo because she was a naturalist she was also a devout vegan! None of this had anything to do with money or lack there of!!! We were well off And she had medical insurance to the tenth power I was not seventeen I was younger Thank you for sticking to the facts as you know them and not feeding into the gossip and incorrect info people add their two cents in They didn’t know her never met her! See, the keyword is "could". You can't say for certain it would have made a difference. My mother completed her chemo and still died a year later. Chemo also has terrible side effects for a lot of people and they end up living the rest of their lives far worse than before.
