Finally released 🎉 I love this artist and I was confused at the beginning but after 2 times I was dancing 😂 From my understanding of the clip, Marina takes a tourist from the airport with that car and takes him to see the real Greece, doing also crazy stuff to have fun. It's crazy but funny 😂 At the beginning she shows her vocals: from an interview she said that she is a soprano and she graduated from the conservatorium of Athens. Ps: You MUST visit Greece, but not only standard places like Santorini or Mykonos, which are stunning, but also the islands, where you can see the real folklore and people singing and dancing in the streets, drinking ouzo, the local drink. I've been there on holiday and it was the most beautiful holiday of my life, even if people didn't understand English and I communicated with Italian gestures 😂

I understand that the song may confuse you in its initial stages. however, for us who have lived in Greece since our birth, it is a simple everyday thing for us after work to go for a walk to the monastery and have fun. you have to have experienced our way of life, our mentality to feel the song. to spend a day as a Greek and do our customs. see the artist in her song "mantisa". The first thing that I thought when I saw the video was all the viral moments that Greece can use to impove their chances to get higher on the scoreboard. Their are so maaaaaany. It realy is to sell Greece culture in a proud and flirty way.

A bit of background info:
The clip is a satire on how tourists view Greece - Marina wanted to say: “if you want stereotypes I’ll give them to you, but we are so much more.” And she truly delivered.
Also there were many artists collaborating on the music, though Marina herself is famous for mixing up different music styles and sounds from Greece and eastern as well, since her father is from Syria I think.

Greek guy here! I was expecting for your reaction guys! I m so glad you liked it! First time i listened to it i was in shock. Today? I can't stop singing it and dancing, i just love it! As for the videoclip, i think it is a masterpiece. The choreography for the stage will be directed by Majnoon (has worked with Madonna, Loreen, Rosalia). I think eurofans will love it, i m not sure about the juries.

Έχουν χρησιμοποιήσει αρκετά κινητό για να το γυρίσουν, θυμίζει τικ τοκ ή κάτι τέτοιο. Εμένα μου αρέσει αυτό το στοιχείο, είναι τελείως raw... βγάζει κάτι ερασιτενικό που το κάνει μοντέρνο. Σα να το γύρισε κάποιος με το κινητό του.

Yeeey! Finally released 🎉 I love this artist and I was confused at the beginning but after 2 times I was dancing 😂 From my understanding of the clip, Marina takes a tourist from the airport with that car and takes him to see the real Greece, doing also crazy stuff to have fun. It's crazy but funny 😂 At the beginning she shows her vocals: from an interview she said that she is a soprano and she graduated from the conservatorium of Athens.
Ps: You MUST visit Greece, but not only standard places like Santorini or Mykonos, which are stunning, but also the islands, where you can see the real folklore and people singing and dancing in the streets, drinking ouzo, the local drink. I've been there on holiday and it was the most beautiful holiday of my life, even if people didn't understand English and I communicated with Italian gestures 😂

The lyrics narrate the story of a change that someone has trouble to accept but at the end goes with the flow. As others wrote, the first meaning is about lovers who seperated. But another way of address them is the changes in history of greek music but also in the change of CITY culture. It shows the classical monuments of ancient Greece, but with elements of traditional music 1800-1970 and old figures.Then goes to modern urban landscape and electro-pop elements to cunclude the story with the digitalization of culture and music with the TikTok reference at the end and the break down at the song where after that all elements go around and mix as the car drifting and expand the feeling of "Everything around change and i try to pretend that dont remember your name/scent (old culture - old city vibes) but i will roll like a dice (zari) and whatever comes, shall come.".

The music video is a satire of stereotypes of foreigners about Greece. Tzatziki, gyros, souvlaki, etc... Marina said that she wants people to go beyond these stereotypes of Greece. This is ridiculous, we are trolling our own country, devaluing it, and indeed feeding into the worst of stereotypes. Όσο για την Μαρίνα είναι μεγάλο ταλέντο, άνετα υποστηρίζει καλύτερο τραγούδι, οι στίχοι πολύ καλοί παρότι χάνονται στο μουσικό κολλάζ που είναι καθαρά ανατολίτικο και τραπ, και αισθητική βιντεο, χάλια μαύρα. Ό,τι, μπορεί να πάρει βαθμούς στην παρουσίαση με το ανάλογο οπτικό show, OK.. Η κοπέλα άξιζε καλύτερα, γενικά.
Έτυχε να το δω, λόγω Τσικνοπέμπτης. Είμασταν παρέα 8 ατόμων, διάφορες ηλικίες, σε κανένα δεν άρεσε. Το βίντεο απλά αποκρουστικό. Γνώμες είναι αυτές, καμία εμπάθεια.
