The lyrics are from Madame that was un sanremo in 2021 and 2023. Music is by Dardust, Co author of "soldi" . Angelina is daughter of Pino Mango iconic italian singer of 80 and 90's and Laura Valente , singer of Matia Bazar in the 90's.
One of the worst songs in the history of Sanremo. A posthumous award for the great Pino Mango, given on the wrong occasion.

Italian words are very long compared to english language so that's why it is def harder to make it more into a melody and still have a lyric that make sense. She sang also a cover 'la rondine' written by her dad and was amazing. The whole nation cried.
The fall on the final night was real and accidental. However, the performances of the previous days were better, and not only because she hadn't fallen, as well as having a better outfit.

Hi guys, great reaction. Do not underestimate Angelina's vocal abilities. She's young but extremely well trained and talented. The musical genre could make many people think it's just an ordinary summer bop with production tricks there to hide an average singer. But no, think again.
The composition like you say, plus her vocals and the well written lyrics will do well with the jury.

Guys I suggest you to react to her performance of "La rondine", a beautiful song by his father Mango. Angelina's dad was a very famous italian singer. He died in 2014 during a concert when she was 13... And she sang this song to remember him during the fourth night of Sanremo Festival (usually a celebrative night dedicated to famous covers). The performance was FANTASTIC.

It's really incredible how in your analysis you have captured the personality and character of this girl; there is nothing constructed or artificial in her... she is truly like that...a simple and charismatic girl (22 years old) and she is absolutely not choreographed, her fall was an accident (her dress went under her shoes). In one year she has conquered everyone and if she ends up winning Eurovision I wouldn't be surprised. This girl has some kind of magical aura around her. Greetings from Italy!

In the last two years Italy brought ballads. But what can we say about Sweden bringing for 40 years, every year, the same Swedish pop and dance song or ballad? Italy at least brought a jazz song ( Raphael Gualazzi) , an operatic pop song ( Il Volo), a rock song ( Maneskin) and many pop songs ( Emma, Francesco Gabbani, Ermal Meta, Francesca Michielin, Mamhood).

However…do you know that angelina’s father was a very famous singer here in Italy? Search PINO MANGO and search this songs: LA RONDINE, and the other one ORO, i suggest you to listen his wonderful voice. He had one of the best voices in music, infact it’s not easy for Angelina not being compared to her father. Her mother as well is a singer, and her parents also sang together at sanremo when She was a child. Pino died suddenly during his concert for an heart attack. However…vote for Italy as well guys!!!! And about Mahmood we liked him so much also this year and we hope he we’ll be present at the eurovision for Sanmarino😊

Angelina Mango is a young emerging Italian singer with great artistic talent passed down from her parents, both amazing singers. Father Pino Mango unfortunately passed away prematurely during a concert, he was not only a great singer and a great poet but a wonderful person with a unique voice. I advise you to see the video of the song "la Rondine" (with English subtitles) sung by her father and then the one sung by Angelina as a cover at the last Sanremo Festival and dedicated to her father himself, a Festival which Angelina then won with song 'Boredom'. There's a reason why Italy has often had ballads.
Because Sanremo is historically the festival of traditional Italian music.
And traditional Italian music is the ballad.
Sanremo has always been a separate festival from Eurovision, except in the last 10 years when they decided that whoever won Sanremo would also go to Eurovision unlike other countries which have a competition made only for Eurovision.

From the start it was clear this would be the year of the ladies. The doubt was only if it would be Annalisa or Angelina to win Sanremo. At some point Geolier collected a massive support from the televote (not always deserved, imho) but the ladies still were among the favorites.
And that's exactly what happened: both in the top 3, with Angelina as the winner.
Personally I think Angelina's song is more eurovision-ready, but I believe Annalisa will be more memorable with it's catchy tune... I mean, at your first listen you can't help but singing along before you even get to the second chorus! And then the song is stuck in your head for days!
But as an Italian I am also happy with Angelina in ESC, even if I was really rooting for Annalisa... She *deserve* the eurovision stage.
Anyway, I really suggest you to also check these performance from sanremo:
- Sinceramente by Annalisa
- Sweet Dreams by Annalisa and La Rappresentante di Lista (from the cover night. REALLY outstanding)
- La rondine by Angelina Mango (also cover night. VERY emotional... Keep tissues nearby)
- Tuta Gold by Mahmood (what happened guys?! Why isn't there a reaction yet?! 😜 Try to find his performance from the 2nd night for the best outfit 😉)
This is using Latin American style with an Italian twist. I love how music can bounce around the globe like a conversation. She can command a stage. I feel the confidence and authenticity in her performance. Seems like I need to re-evaluate my top 10.
It is not a proper cumbia, apart from some latin influences the rhythms are also typical of southern italian folk music. Let's not be shallow when we judge music.
