I love Angelina Mango, at Eurovision she was great but lost all her natural sensuality that she has on her own, the choreography was excellent but she doesn't need it, she has that special thing on her own, I love her and love you ❤

Some artists when they go to eurovision it ends like their career but i think angelina is one of that artists where there career just grows!
I think there was nothing wrong with her eurovision performance…Angelina deserved an higher place. Then of course Angelina put all her chiarisma on Sanremo stage, that’s why she became most eurofans favorite… but Sanremo stage is nothing comparse to Eurovision, so, if she had performed alone, people would have complaint so much, trust me. Yes we still have to consider that Angelina’s career started just a year ago… and I’m happy to see that she is conquering Europe’s hearts, bc she deserves it❤

Fate attenzione a quello che si vede nel video. Niente e' casuale...anche il pavone ( ha dichiarato di aver paura dei pennuti). Angelina, da bambina e da ragazza, sognava,per il suo futuro, di cantare e di ballare. Il video mostra la ragazza com'era al paesello e la ragazza che vuole diventare. Ecco il dualismo nella scenografia.

As an italian, the song is really beautiful and surely it shares a lot of emotions but I'm afraid they wouldn't really understand it since they have no lyrics or translation when they look at a song (also once they said that not having a video to watch doesn't help them to get the meaning), so as soon as I hope for them to react to it I also hope they'd recognize the importance of what she is singinig about

7th position has nothing to do with dancers or else. Angelina was perfect , the most complete artist of ESC, simply someone decided in juries she didn' t have to win. Her song will last one year, Nemo song will last one month. She has a full vitality after ESC , going forward 3rd platinum record. You know what? .....she was too much for ESC, they did not deserve her. She won prize and special notes from USA, NY Times declared she is the new pop queen but the dirty games of power were stronger than her art.

As someone else said in the comments I suggest you to react to Angelina's song "Fila Indiana" the song is about how she felt after her father passed away in 2014 and is really powerful and beautiful.
Also her album just came out maybe you can check something from it!
Another thing, since you like to discover new artists I really suggest you to listen to something from an amazing lady and singer Elodie.
She is such a pop queen and has amazing songs like "Andromeda", "Vertigine", "Tribale", "Bagno a mezzanotte", "Due" and some days ago she released a new song called "Black Nirvana". I really think you should give her a chance! ♡
Also I know you remember him from eurovision 2022 and I think you should check out something more from BLANCO, "Brividi" is a really beautiful song but it is just a tear in the ocean of what is music sounds like, he has songs like "La canzone nostra", "Mi fai impazzire", "Notti in Bianco", "Ladro di Fiori", "L'Isola delle Rose", "Un briciolo di allegria", "Bruciasse il Cielo" and many many more that are really worth listening to.

The album is incredible you should take a look, its called poke melodrama, "poke" beacsue its a mix of different genres
My personal opinion is Angelina's Eurovision was "sabotaged" by whoever in her management and in RAI (the Italian public broadcaster handling and paying for the Esc participation) decided the performance, I think they were heavily affected by what is common criticism towards us (that we aren't good at staging etc), they wanted to do well and impress and to do so they focused on staging decos and choreo with dancers forgetting that Angelina's strengh, what makes her different, is her personality, her sass and charisma.. The staging imho was beautiful and elegant but required long camera angles, as well as choreo, that didn't focus on Angelina. At the same time the choreo was "clipping" her spontaineity and the great work done by the choreohrapher to portray the song meaning were mostly lost. The end result was another song+dance act like many others in Esc where Angelina's personality was flattened rather than enhanced.
I so agree with this, the staging was artistic and polished but it also was just inauthentic for Angelinas talent whereas she's what elevates the song makes it powerful. It's great that they wanted to have a staging but they really could've done it in a way that would've focused mostly on Angelinas natural charisma but also would've had something that may had added even more to the performance (Like with Marcos performance last year, where the focus was mostly on him and his charisma, but also there was a scenery with a trampoline and 2 dancers junping on it which fit the lyrics of the song and added even more to the performance imo, and I think something similar should've been done for Angelinas performance this year), instead they messed it all up... One month later and it's still hard for me with the fact that such a talented artist and such a perfect song got Italys worst result since 2016, I really hope to see Angelina still having a great career despite this and as well I really want to see her again in ESC in the near future and hopefully that she will have her redemption arc like Marco 2013/2023

La Noia would had a better chance with a better staging and camera work - I'm not an expert but just comparing the 2 performances from Sanremo and Malmoe you can see the camera forgot about Angelina and missed her most powerful weapon: her body language.

She needed to Lena - Satellite the performance. Just her and her charisma. The ESC staging was horrible and there were barely any close ups on her face which is how the sass came through at San Remo!!! It could’ve been any random girl bop from Malta if we were judging purely based on what we saw on the night.

I don't know guys, i think that the music industry in Italy is oversexualising women singers (I'm Italian). You can see it also with Elodie, Arisa, Sarah Toscano (the last winner of Amici). It seems that if you don't undress you can't sell or be famous.
No no no, women and men in the entertainment industry have been undressing for decades everywhere, and they do it also because they like to be watched as much as people like to watch them, and there is absolutely nothing wrong about that...Mahmood and Marco Mengoni are some examples, but for some reason if Angelina and Annalisa do it it's a problem...for me this is just cheap moral, which is the real problem in Italy...the artists don't make a big deal about exposing their bodies, people do

You said it: people (music consumers nonetheless) have different approaches to exposed skin, that’s why nudity is one the main aspects of communication.
Italian pop is real pop: it’s inside the country’s culture, with all the issues you think are just problems: I mean, it’s a matter of balance, and not everything is artistry, in Italy we know the risk about.
That said, I appreciate the way they play with this bodies, and I think Elodie couldn’t ever hide that stunning body, even as a nun.
That’s the key, the way an artists cope with its image and identity, and how meaningful and sophisticated is the whole project. And I feel Italians do it well. Also they are very good looking and well styled, the very same way as their covered colleagues.
One thing: you can’t deny that the whole world is over sexualised, the risk is present in everywhere.

1) "Che t'o dico a fa" (a bop with a Southern Italian twist)
2) "Edmund e Lucy" (a piano and voice ballad, about the bond with her brother and for which I would recommend checking the lyrics - the reference is to the two characters of "the chronicles of Narnia")
