Honestly I think drive would make more money if they had a donate button (or maybe even one of those kick starters things to raise money ) or sold drive clothing and accessories
It really bothers me to hear Rogan say things like “it should be Illegal”. Nothing should be “illegal”, because what that really means is that other people have decided that you are a criminal by simply owning the wrong thing. This is nothing more than man’s childish desire for a parental figure in the form of totalitarian government.
It's ironic that this 'episode' features Joe Rogan, a strong supporter and proponent of giving away content for free... But you can't watch the full episode unless you pay for it
Surely that shows you how pathetic people are being, and shows that /DRIVE cannot continue to give people free content. I find it pretty selfish of others to refuse to pay because they feel they have the 'right' to free content.
We've spoken with Joe about this, and he is a subscriper of Drive +. He can give his content away for free because he makes it for $0 from his own studio. He doesn't have to travel or do really any of the things that we at /DRIVE need to do in order to make content. Joe may believe that it's better to give content away for free, but he also believes that a business that can't support itself is not a business worth getting into. It's nice that all those other publications can lose money every month on the backs of their print mag parents, but we don't have one of those.
TheSmokingTire If I had Joe's money I would also undoubtedly be a subscriber myself, as I know that the content is always stellar whether it be on /DRIVE or TheSmokingTire. But this is RUclips, not cable TV, and I draw the line at being expected to pay for it, especially not when it has been free to view since its conception in 2005. If a content creator chooses RUclips as their platform, then why not use alternate means of generating revenue like every other RUclips creator does, mainly through sponsored ads/endorsements
Zukes no other channel in our space makes money. None. All other "A" level automotive channels are marketing arms for either TV networks (like XCar with CBS) or magazines (like motor trend, evo, autocar, etc). /DRIVE is the only top-tier youtube channel that needs to be self sufficient.
This is the reason i subscribed. Fast cars, cool people, short sweet and to the point. I usually skip over the 20+ min long vids of theEnglish guys sitting on couches. This is what i want to see
If you all claim that you want to have the best "auto content" on youtube charging for the experience isnt the way to go. Why would i pay $3.99 for add free longer content when i could download adblock and watch MotorTrend's videos. I used to admire you guys as the little guys trying to make a difference. Now you're just money hungry savages. This is definitely not the future of automotive content.
Then why visit their channel or negatively review their videos? Watch it or don't. It's like a Yelp review for a restaurant that has great food but you don't want to pay for it.
***** haha yes but I think its a free market, if /DRIVE thinks their content is worth paying for, it will get proven true or false very soon by viewers. BTW has Chris left? He was supposed to release his F80 M3 review but it hasn't showed up, if he's gone I think they chance of people paying is even less now.
If this is the kind of stuff they continue to upload I have no problem with their business model. As a working adult with little time I prefer this to their longer vids as long as I'm employed. They provided a lot of entertainment for me and more cost effective than a night out. I hope drive doesn't get too discouraged from all the kids complaining and keep going.
Well... I have been a loyal viewer for a long time. I love this show and get excited to watch it. Unfortunately I can't even afford to pay the phone bill for the phone I am writing this on so even as cheap as it seems I am sorry guys, I can not afford it. I am a youtube producer myself and all though my channel is growing fast it is no where near your numbers. Kinda worries me to be honest. We provide free entertainment and all that we ask is that you put up with 5 seconds of advertising and we can all be happy... But nooooo that is just too much to ask! Gotta get friggin adblock because you really need that 5 seconds! I'm not mad at Drive. I'm mad at the selfish little pricks that use adblock! All good things get ruined by selfish people. I hope this doesn't happen to all my favorite channels... Im gonna go cry now.
What's the issue Coleman? First off cool to see ya on another channel I watch. What's going on with Adblock that's affecting you? Just asking I don't understand.
Tricky D YT producers rely on selling ad placement to generate income. Its how we can offer relevant entertainment without charging the viewer yet we can still earn a living. People that use adblock are taking our earnings away and still viewing the content. Effectively taking food right off their favorite shows table. Its piracy. It makes it really hard for guys like me to continue releasing videos.
Matt Farah Thanks for the reply Matt. Trust my man, i understand. I'm on your side and once my funds go up a little bit more I am purchasing your content for sure. I hope when I get to that point my fans will do the same. I really do wish you guys the best and I will still be watching as much as possible. I drive a first gen rx7 daily and it made my day when you featured Korbin. He is just a regular cat like me and it really shows that you guys keep it real. I guess its back to editing for me. See you on the next episode!
***** I'm sorry. Who are you? Go do something worth bragging about troll. You bottom feeding free loaders are like parasites. You want the world but don't know the first thing about how it works. Nothing is free.
EXTREME SCALE PERFORMANCE With adblock, apparently your videos are indeed free, so it seems to me that you are the one who doesn't know how the world works. And I'm not knocking the guys at Drive for trying to make more money out of their awesome channel, hell, I might even pay for it.
The video was for Joe Rogan and his car, period. That's exactly what you saw; not an ad. Want to see extended footage along the same lines? That's /drive+ .
/DRIVE The truth? You never have a bad word to say about any of them.Your reports feel a bit "on the fence" And I use the word report because they don't feel like reviews.
/DRIVE The truth? When the fuck would we ever get or expect to get that? We just want to see the pretty car go around in circles while a host we don't find objectionable tells us about it. Plus, like Del Johnson said, "You never have a bad word to say about any of them," and that goes for a lot of other automotive shows/publications/channels. Thats why Top Gear (UK, fuck Foust) is as popular as it is. When the Dacia Sandero is shit you don't have to listen to the host fumble for nice things to say about it. It's shit, now lets drop a piano on a Morris Marina.
/DRIVE Good point. But what about a car parts supplier like castrol, shell, recaro sparco OZ, Continental ... (you got it), and feature their products in your channel and add some adds to the beginning of your clips so adblocker are useless..? Other Channels do that since a very long time without hiding their opinion --> See Mighty Car Mods The way you have chosen isn't the right one, forcing to pay for content is not how RUclips is supposed to work, and you won't change that. Please react to your viewers, i don't want to miss /DRIVE in my RUclips Feed
Lt. Roast-a-hoe That's exactly why Lamborghini is pissed at them, right? "forcing to pay for content is not how RUclips is supposed to work" 1) Ironic since the payment system is built into RUclips. Seems its working exactly as intended. 2) Nobody's forcing anyone to pay for anything. Supply and demand, bitches.
More than happy to give these guys the equivalent of a cup of coffee each month. I'm looking forward to what the new format and revenue is going to bring us in the future
cmucky MCMs videos are nowhere near the cost of DRIVES to make, motor trend makes their money from having a magazine and Jay Leno is loaded. Any better comparison?
How dare Drive charge less than a pint of beer, or 1 spark plug, or a fraction of the price of a tank of fuel, all for a months worth of high quality entertainment!
someusername121 What principle? Why should they have to give it to you for free? What's so wrong with charging for it like everything else in life? They need to make a living too.
They have to add value to justify the 3.99 price tag. If paying that much gives me 6-8 more minutes of content, that's not worth it. I can rent a movie from redbox for 1.50 for a bluray that is longer and makes my 1.50 look like a good value. Cutting us off and saying hey I'll need that 3.99 is not a sustainable model, since YT generally doesn't charge to view it's video. Or $8 on Netflix gets me thousands of movies to watch. Drive hasn't given me a reason to pay the 3.99 to be like... "Oh wow nobody offers anything like this"
wiseoracle Then go away and shut up. If $4 for many hours of video (~1 hour of Chris Harris alone) isn't good value, then I'm guessing you barely get by, in which case entertainment shouldn't be on your list of priorities. Spend the time you'd watch Drive and find better ways of earning money.
I have the feeling tha /DRIVE channel is killing a business that they had so much time and work invested to grow, and now are in risk of killing by being greedy. A LOT of other youtube channels managed to get away with some advertising. If your channel is desired by the audience, i'm sure that even car and aftermarket manufacters wouldn't mind giving you guys a small fee to review their products Sooner your paying content will be on torrents, and then you won't be making money on Drive+ subscriptions, and you won't be making money of your regular youtube "wage" Good Luck /DRIVE
I'm not sure I would go so far to say that they're being greedy. They have a high quality product and they know it. As the saying goes, "If you're good at something, never do it for free." I just think it is inappropriately priced compared to a cable channel. I would have no problem paying 1 or 2 dollars a month, but 4 is a tipping point to where it isn't a negligible cost at the end of the year
Inspector Poirot Welcome to the present and welcome to the internet, where the grandpa saying doesn't always work. The words "pay" and "internet" don't work that well because in the internet there's always an option to not pay. While with /DRIVE they made some money, but now nobody wants to watch teasers, and nobody wants to pay for /DRIVE+ because their content is too good to not be copied in torrents. This is how the internet works
Those "other" youtube channels don't spend $9000 to film a McLaren P1... $39 for a whole year's worth of content from the best automotive channel in the world sounds a whole lot better than $80 than the HBO package on your tele.
Dr. Weird I seriously don't understand peoples logic behind that sort of statement. Take Pewdiepie, the biggest RUclipsr, his cost for a video is like $10 and he posts 2 times a day giving him 4+ million views, that doesn't happen with car channels. Same goes with those who make proper videos like ERB or Freddiewong, they easliy get over 10 million views, even if their costs are high they are making up for it in views. People aren't that interested in cars for it to be viable for /Drive.
Just one question to /DRIVE, why does it need to be so expensive? Although 3.99/mth may not seem expensive to you, it is to a lot of us. If you made it $0.99/mth OR $10.00 for the year, if 10% of your subscribers payed the $10, you would have $115k. While that's small, that 10% is rather conservative. I'm sure a larger percentage would be willing to pay $10 than $40. Thoughts?
/DRIVE I think your screwed ether way you got your consumers used to a certain quality of video and now your putting up teasers, it would be different if you cut the time of your free content by only a small amount and had more epic longer style videos on the payed for sorta like topgear even if it was a few longer videos a month. im not sure how you call a 1min review with 3 min of filler a worthwhile product but hey its your show.
/DRIVE yeah but "if" you go down this route of 4 dollars a month then your screwed anyways. people will pirate your stuff and will be hated by the internet(your loyal fanbase). i just don't know how much content there is for that price. if its the same old stuff i'm used to then ill pass along with many of my pals.
/DRIVE I'm sure you used the word "if" when calculating the minimum number of payed subscribers necessary to create your desired revenue. Yes at a $0.99/mth, you would need 4 times as many payed subscribers, but it seems more plausible than at $3.99 I was just highlighting the fact that most people might see $10 as being viable, and would be more willing to pay, rather than $40 which is seen as a substantial amount of money for the casual RUclips viewer.
Just my 2 cents on this whole pay for Drive+ content debate: I love the channel you guys have put together, it is by far my favorite car show or RUclips or any other format for that matter. I have long understood the difficulty of delivering such high quality videos and breaking even or even for a loss. It makes it hard to keep going and you had to come up with a solution. While I am one of those people who can afford to subscribe to drive+...I am not going to. Not because I believe it should be free (in fact I consider myself lucky to have gotten all the content you've given us for free up until this point), but because I consider watching RUclips videos something I do in my spare time when I'm bored and not something I'd be willing to pay for. That being said I will watch your TV show on NBC, mostly because I will enjoy it but also because I am already paying for cable service. I thought you guys might value this input from a fan, be it only one.
It could be coming later, but I think you guys missed an opportunity by not having a link to Drive+ in an annotation or in a link in the description. It may be coming later, but it could've just been overlooked. I'm not lazy enough that it will keep me from going to check it out, but I know there are people lazier than me haha. Glad there's an easy way to support you guys now. I really appreciate all the hard work you guys do. I hope you can keep up it.
unsubscribed, no good content in a while and now making it difficult to get the content. Yeah nobody cares about paying the money to watch it but you cant start off with something free and then charge for it. Imagine if facebook started charging users, it would die. They need to find a different revenue stream! this sucks balls. bye Drive
Now we have to pay... I'm already a subscriber for MT online and in print. That blows, you're going to lose my viewership and subs today. Marking you guys unsubscribed and call customer service to cancel your magazines. You should at the very least have access for those who are actual subscribers. Total fail guys
So paying $39.99 for a year-round fee isn't worth it for the best automotive content that's supplied weekly, and yet paying $80.00 for HBO to watch Game of Thrones for two month's worth of content is okay? Alright... Can you believe these people, Matt?
TheSmokingTire well sarcasm will surely keep a customer around. And Motor Trend to my knowledge is what Drive is tied to. If not then my error... However allowing my error your response speaks volumes regarding your attitude towards your viewers.
Dr. Weird I'm not sure where you come into this discussion. However if YOU wish to pay for the service then that's what YOU should be doing. However I have no interest in paying for content that has previously been free.
Sledge Hammer Pretty sure they're fed up with 10 year olds and cheapskates complaining that they aren't getting shit for free. They're commenting out of spite, which also isn't a good thing.
I rather pay a one time fee or a season fee. Now everything is on a monthly base. Spotify, Pandora, Netflix, Google Storage, and now youtube channels at the end of the day all this adds up. Anyways i believe a Season Package should be available as well. How long will your Seasons be?, How many Videos are you planning on posting in a Season? $3.99 is too high price and it is /DRIVING your viewers /AWAY+
One of the best videos. mr Rogan is the man. Go search some of his podcasts youll find someone you like. Great camera shots as always which is what made Drive the best of the best. Even comin back to this videos years later im happy new episodes are being made still.
+StreatBeatsAudio Subwoofers just trolling a troll. Why do people like you think they are so much tougher behind a keyboard. I'm sure you wouldn't say the same to my face now would you? Any way top gear is free, has better visuals, commentary, access to the industry, drivers/reviewers that own real sports cars, compare cars on an equal testing environment(test track) have been endorsed by the top drivers in motorsports/manufactures etc.....all of this is for free, and yet Jeremy Clarkson is still able to own a Ford gt, Ferrari Italia, GTR and etc...your argument makes nonsense? Pay to watch Joe Rogan in his 3rd Porsche that has no more cornering ability? Honestly thedudeinblue has way better car reviews than /drive! And drive only now carters to the tool bag un credentialized auto expert like your self that mean mugs anybody that stops next to him at a stop light in his V6mustang, and isn't wearing a wife beater and fitted cap combo.....douches!
If you live in the UK, Top Gear isn't free at all. If you wanted to watch Top Gear on your TV, you'd have to pay £145.5 a year. In fact, if you want to watch anything at all on the TV in the UK, pay up.
Tedrick Leong sorry to hear that. That's ridiculous to pay that much money for one program. Here In the states with the luxury of Speed channel we can get top gear, wrc, and fia F1. There is a lot more, but I'm guessing they offer so much here for so little in the states is to compete with the left turn only enthusist(NASCAR)
For all those who are still bitching about Drive+ I have a couple of questions: Why do you charge for your work? Why won't you work for free? Assuming you have a job...
well i'm sorry but youtube it's a pubblic site were you watch videos for "free"..... correct? They could do like porn star and make a site, so they can ask you to pay. and they should also cancel the channel here. Sheeeeppp.
errant3 Why should RUclips cancel their channel? I mean, they funded the project at the beginning then they cut the funding. How is Drive supposed to make a profit? And if the platform allows you to make a per per view channel why would they cancel it? Just because most of the videos here are free it doesn't mean they all are. People just got used to watch tons of free content. Don't want to pay? don't pay. As simple as that.
A lot of celebs have crappy taste in cars... they have money but no style BUT Joe, Joe has money and Style and that makes him a badass! A great history of cars.... very close to my set.
Slickpete83 Then go make a video and exchange your ideas - your living in the RUclips that Google has never earned a dollar on. Since they bought it, they lose money on it every single day. Go to Starbucks and ask for a free coffee, cause' they already give you a free space, free wifi and free social interaction - might as well get the coffee for free too right? cause f!$k paying $3
Butthurt tight people who are still upset over the fully justified subscription fee. Lawrence Timme DRIVE+ is available in other countries than just America, and they have explained to those who cannot get it that it will be available by the end of the week.
Hey Drive. I just wanted to pay my 2 cents about Drive+ like everyone else is. First and foremost, I just want to say that I understand the necessity of Drive+. I understand that it needs to be there to continue to provide the exceptional content that you guys provide on a regular basis. I also understand that you guys are aiming to provide a two tiered system that leaves nobody behind, regardless of what service they choose to go for. My only hope is that their is an understanding of what it is that you are providing at the moment. For free users, this is not partial content, this is a trailer. What I would recommended, is the same content that you continued to provide prior to the changeup, and have Drive+ have significantly more content. Don't choke out free users, entice free users. In marketing their is a principal that states that as your business grows, you never abandon your core audience, you help them grow with you. It would mean a lot to hear back from you. Cheers!
Drive i just wanted to say thx for the previous videos but our adventure together stops here and i hope u succeed in the decision u made and good luk because u gona need it, sry because its my second comment as i am pissed off
Hmm so they sign a big deal with NBC and all of a sudden they need to generate revenue through subscriptions? and this is because all because of adblock? that's a good one. Unsubscribe.
Our deal with NBC was not as big as people presume it to be. They purchased some existing content, but it's not nearly enough to run this channel and keep making the volume and quality of video you all like.
/DRIVE Still believe there is a better solution. Maybe the companies that are heavily promoted in /Drives videos could pay. Such as Sharkwerks! A lot of this content seems like it could be categorized as promotional to say the least.
Boycott time sorry ... well not really sorry just thinking of the long term and other channels doing the same. It's not only morally wrong but it's greed when you do the maths of 100's of thousands of subscribers joining a ppm channel. and not only Drive $ .. I mean Drive + channel but many many others doing the same.. it will be the end of RUclips as we know it.
That 3.99 is a real tough price point. I can get Hulu Plus for what is it? 8/mo or something. I think people are thinking "are you pricing the same old drive content at a rate competitive with inclusive premium online tv and music services?" For $8/mo, I could watch my favorite TV show in HD on hulu every week. That's two hours of HD, high quality content, every week. Much greater value. I'm sorry you've fallen on hard times, but if the short drive videos are gonna be teasers and advertisements for Drive+, I'm not only going to not pay you, I'm going to unsubscribe. That's not intended as a threat and I'm not important, but clearly many of your viewers feel the same way.
In my opinion it is fair that we pay for this type of quality content. Ever since I started watching DRIVE videos I was thinking they should charge people to watch stuff like this.
Joe Rogan's taste in cars are impeccable.
Supra,NSX,and 911's
saw him driving m3 as well
Johnny Wrong wrong indeed
I was surprised. I didn't know he was a car guy. He does have great taste in cars.
Johnny Wrong
Lol you're always posting hate comments on Japanese cars.
Johnny Wrong
well stop being wrong then
Joe has great taste in cars.
ReLoad I agree but those baggy jeans need to go.
I like the video of him in this car when he stalls
@@d.kashani the dude in baggy pants ain't even Joe Rogan...
Pretty easy to do with money like that lol
he drives a tesla now
of course this video is 4:20 long lol
LOL no DMT this time??

Huge fan of Joe's work. I was unaware that he was a car guy, but it makes sense.
BTW, love the GT3.
The three Porsches of my dreams:
1: a Magnus Walker air cooled 911
2: a Singer 911
3:a Sharkwerk GT3
Back in my day you didn't have to pay $$ to watch videos on RUclips.
I'm not mad /Drive..... just disappointed
How times have changed with subscriptions
Screw all you DRIVE haters. Best place to be on youtube for all your automotive needs. High production values and amazing content. GO DRIVE!!!
I love it when a couple of my two favourite channels come together. I will never own one of these but I'm glad someone can so they build more.

They were between a rock and a hard place. Video production is expensive, so it's really selfish to assume they launched a pay model just to be dicks.
I'm missing something. When do they ask for money?
***** Same, I have yet to see any such request..
Then why visit their channel or negatively review their videos? Watch it or don't. It's like a Yelp review for a restaurant that has great food but you don't want to pay for it.
I see /DRIVE is trying to "lighten its server load" by charging for /DRIVE+.
Good luck, guys.
MeisterYodarkus lol i guess the quotes around the server load wasn't enough to enable your sarcasm detection

the only reason we watched you daily because of your personality and talent..
which happens to be abundant on the internet..and replaceable

Lt. Roast-a-hoe That's exactly why Lamborghini is pissed at them, right?
"forcing to pay for content is not how RUclips is supposed to work"
1) Ironic since the payment system is built into RUclips. Seems its working exactly as intended.
2) Nobody's forcing anyone to pay for anything. Supply and demand, bitches.
Badass. I didn't know Joe was into these kind of real enthusiast cars.
@1:57 A big sound system in a GT3 RS... wtf...
It's a pretty small system, and done in carbon fiber. He knows it adds a bit of weight but he likes music. It weighs much less than a passenger.
/DRIVE But... RS...
/DRIVE
but, isnt he already got THE sound system ; in form of flat six. hehe
Lol if you think that's a big sound system... hehe...
***** Not as much as a screaming flat six!! :D
But the thing is, Porsche worked hard on getting rid of weight why add more? After all this is an RS.
More than happy to give these guys the equivalent of a cup of coffee each month. I'm looking forward to what the new format and revenue is going to bring us in the future
Damn, they're actually pushing this Drive+ shit, that sucks. Great channel while it lasted.
Yeah, good content costs money to make. Who knew?
***** Weird, MCM doesn't cost us anything, neither does roadkill or jay leno garage. Weird, I thought you said good content cost money?
cmucky MCMs videos are nowhere near the cost of DRIVES to make, motor trend makes their money from having a magazine and Jay Leno is loaded. Any better comparison?
Right, because producing shit like this is oh so cheap. Oh wait a minute, it isn't.
*****
Well that's /DRIVEs problem. Not many people are going to pay for videos on website where over 90% of the content is free.
Matt and Joe are awesome, this car is sick, that's worth a Thumbs up despite +/DRIVE and their recent business move.
How dare Drive charge less than a pint of beer, or 1 spark plug, or a fraction of the price of a tank of fuel, all for a months worth of high quality entertainment!
to be fair it's expensive compared to a auto magazine or netflix
someusername121 if it wasn't the money..them they wouldn't have lots of negativity
someusername121 What principle?
This gave me chills and made me smile. My new dream car is a 997.2 gt3rs. I have a c6z and joe described the feeling perfectly
I have the feeling tha /DRIVE channel is killing a business that they had so much time and work invested to grow, and now are in risk of killing by being greedy. A LOT of other youtube channels managed to get away with some advertising.
If your channel is desired by the audience, i'm sure that even car and aftermarket manufacters wouldn't mind giving you guys a small fee to review their products
Sooner your paying content will be on torrents, and then you won't be making money on Drive+ subscriptions, and you won't be making money of your regular youtube "wage"
Good Luck /DRIVE
Nailed it
I'm not sure I would go so far to say that they're being greedy.
Dr. Weird
I seriously don't understand peoples logic behind that sort of statement.
Good timing on this video. I was just researching these today. Definitely a car I'll consider in the future
Thoughts?
Because of a key word: "if".
If everyone that pays $4 only pays $1, then we're screwed. If twice as many people pay $1 as $4, we're still screwed.
JR T.
Its already on The Pirate Bay and its still RUclips free quality.
/DRIVE I'm sure you used the word "if" when calculating the minimum number of payed subscribers necessary to create your desired revenue. Yes at a $0.99/mth, you would need 4 times as many payed subscribers, but it seems more plausible than at $3.99
I was just highlighting the fact that most people might see $10 as being viable, and would be more willing to pay, rather than $40 which is seen as a substantial amount of money for the casual RUclips viewer.
Woah! Joe's taste in cars is impeccable!!! I would pick that same line up plus a Celica GT-4 ST-205
Whats with the mental music levels?
So loud and distracting!
I'll never unsubscribe. When I got some extra cash I'll be on the plus side. Awesome vids as always and I'm a big JRE fan.
and you thought you liked Joe Rogan b4
I love having RUclips, it’s the only way I will ever be able to drive in these cars.
Unsubscribe... on average, I'm only interested in watching 30-40% of the video offerings anyway. Cheers...
Video length is a cheeky 4:20 for Mr. Rogan's car. Well done.
Train by Day JOe podcast by night!!!!
And there goes the best channel on youtube. Farewell /DRIVE
I hope you can keep up it.
wtf is drive+
unsubscribed, no good content in a while and now making it difficult to get the content. Yeah nobody cares about paying the money to watch it but you cant start off with something free and then charge for it. Imagine if facebook started charging users, it would die.
They need to find a different revenue stream! this sucks balls.
bye Drive
optional paid content with longer videos
Next recommended video is a FREE 14min review of same SharkWerks 997 GT3 RS.
Like running ads doesn't give The Drive enough money lol. Greedy bastards.
4 years later I asking the same thing
This video is 4 minutes 20 seconds long. So fitting for Matt and Joe to be in it.
you can see a 15min video about the blue sharkwerks gt3rs on jay leno's garage channel.
(for free)
the gt3 RS is my dream car... so I can't even imagine how much better the sharkwerks edition is!
Goodbye Drive, old pal :'(
Quick 5 minute review is enough for me before it gets boring, free content rules RUclips and always will.
Now we have to pay... I'm already a subscriber for MT online and in print. That blows, you're going to lose my viewership and subs today. Marking you guys unsubscribed and call customer service to cancel your magazines. You should at the very least have access for those who are actual subscribers. Total fail guys
sure, call up our call center and cancel all our magazines. lol.
Dr. Weird
I'm not sure where you come into this discussion. However if YOU wish to pay for the service then that's what YOU should be doing. However I have no interest in paying for content that has previously been free.
Sledge Hammer
Pretty sure they're fed up with 10 year olds and cheapskates complaining that they aren't getting shit for free. They're commenting out of spite, which also isn't a good thing.
Wow!!!! This imbibe of the most beautiful Porches I have ever put my eyes on RUclips. What a mean ass looking Porche!!
well that video was long.
TheSmokingTire don't even bother with these fools. Just keep bringing the good content. A true fan is willing to pay for the good stuff.
I feel like drive has become just commercials for drive+.
Joe Rogan is the man and know what a real car is.. Thumbs up for not going to west cost customs
You're going to ruin this channel by making every video into some trailer
i don't know if you know this joe rogan but uhhh... I SMOKE ROCKS!
What the fuck's up with the dislikes? Ridiculous haters.
+Doogie Spence The MUSIC is HORRIBLE!!
+Doogie Spence This was around the time they started doing drive+
Awesome Opportunity! Another great video, Thanks :)
Drive +?!!!!???? Yeah I unsubscribed to. Thank god top gear has always been free
you're an absolute fucking moron if you just compared /DRIVE TO TOP GEAR
Adam Griffin That made no fucking sense whatsoever....
Joe Rogan in the video - Ends at 420. Radical.
For all those who are still bitching about Drive+ I have a couple of questions:
Why do you charge for your work?
Why don't people understand that if you want nice things you have to pay for them?
Because youtube was meant to be a free community where people can exchange ideas using videos
Slavko Milesic I can get free coffee and Wi-Fi and social interaction at my work lol.....
Slickpete83
It doesn't work like that anymore.
I approve of the length of this video.
German here:@/DRIVE please let me throw my money at you, because i can't right now.
Fixing that this week.
/DRIVE /drive+ isn't available here in Malaysia.. :(
/DRIVE Please take care of Panama also, will suscribe immediately!
Javier Medina Someone is already putting everything on TPB if you want it that bad.
tony mandujano Trailer Park Boys.
Me: IS THAT A SUPRAAAAA?!
Joe: Have you ever been bow hunting?
Good lord you guys get trolled harder than anyone! I can't imagine your notification feed lol.
The 997 is such a beauty!
Why so many dislikes?
cos nobody can get drive+ apart from mericans
ahhh! Makes sense. Sorry :o
Butthurt tight people who are still upset over the fully justified subscription fee.
Lawrence Timme DRIVE+ is available in other countries than just America, and they have explained to those who cannot get it that it will be available by the end of the week.
Lawrence Timme Yes they can, they can torrent.
***** or maybe its cos most people can't even subscribe........ even if they wanted to?
Cheers!
They aren't money scrounging... they're making the deficit... otherwise there wouldn't a /DRIVE at all...
You all are retards
Say's the douche nozzle using third grade grammer. Go fuck yourself /Drive sold out...
You rephrase what I said into a more sophisticated way and I'll take your shit for now, go fuck yourself
You wanna race for pinks bro?
Drive i just wanted to say thx for the previous videos but our adventure together stops here and i hope u succeed in the decision u made and good luk because u gona need it, sry because its my second comment as i am pissed off
These video's are pointless now, I gain no insight from them
Joe & Matt should have a car show on RUclips
Hmm so they sign a big deal with NBC and all of a sudden they need to generate revenue through subscriptions? and this is because all because of adblock? that's a good one. Unsubscribe.
Our deal with NBC was not as big as people presume it to be. They purchased some existing content, but it's not nearly enough to run this channel and keep making the volume and quality of video you all like.
/DRIVE Fuck you anyways, their way better content for free. Do you really feel your content is better than all of those others ?
/DRIVE Still believe there is a better solution. Maybe the companies that are heavily promoted in /Drives videos could pay. Such as Sharkwerks! A lot of this content seems like it could be categorized as promotional to say the least.
I've been itching for this vid ever since Matt went on Joe's podcast
Honestly. What a shame.
Sooo happy drive is back!!!
another paytoview video? nah, unsubscribed...
I like that I had to watch an ad for what essentially was an ad for drive+
you guys are ruining your channel with your drive+...
Thumbs up before watching the video. I know this will be good.
unsubscribed...
Congrats to Matt and the crew.. Might pick up a sub for this vid
You have to pay to watch vidoes now? Eww Unsubscribing
Good vid. I'll be over to drive plus this weekend. ;) I've been a follower for quite some time and would hate to see this channel disappear.
That's not intended as a threat and I'm not important, but clearly many of your viewers feel the same way.
unsubscribed.
Drive is back!!! Hell yeah
/Unsubscribe
In my opinion it is fair that we pay for this type of quality content. Ever since I started watching DRIVE videos I was thinking they should charge people to watch stuff like this.
Sad that I have to unsub.
This episode should be waaaaaaay longer!
I met joe down in orlando a few months ago after his comedy show, chill fucking guy.
that porsche is perfection
A Supra as his first sports car? Followed by an NSX? And now morphing into Randy Couture? This may be the first time I've ever liked Joe Rogan.
