This actually isn't the first metal version of this song that I've heard, but it's by far my favorite. Dan sounds divine and Garrett shreds like a beast, but also with the amount of fun Dan is having in this video you can't help but smile. I love the approach he took.
That was a phenomenal performance by Dan Vasc and GarrettJPeters. I enjoyed every single bit about it.They added so much energy,power and excitement to this song.

I love the way Dan marches up to the mic to start singing. You know this is going to be powerful. The drum beat and Garrett’s guitar playing is so great along with Dan belting out the lyrics. His high notes are EPIC. Love the hair flips. Yep there is no doubt my heart will go and on for Dan Vasc. ❤❤. Great reaction and love your cat sleeping on the couch😍

We waited for it with hint after hint, and one advance Instagram reel showing us some of the choices Dan was making with the mix. We all KNEW it was going to be POWER. With the reel, Dan's comment was, "We'll put some hair on Celine Dion's chest. SOON."
It's one of my favorite Dan songs, now. Of course, most of them are my favorite songs, every time I listen to them.
I know you generally do Rock reactions, but have you thought about perhaps reacting to Dan Vasc & Gabriel Belozi doing "Loch Lomond?" They actually recorded it outdoors, in an area in Brazil that is quite similar to what one might see in Scotland. Gabriel is on acoustic guitar for that one, and Dan does a really nice Scottish accent. It's just gorgeous, and quite different from what most people would expect.

I think Dan completely remade this song which I originally liked when the movie came out but which has been so overplayed over the years that it was becoming stale and fading in popularity. It's now been reincarnated in a whole new form and I love it. Thanks for the reaction.
The original song was 'done to death' and was definitely never a favorite. However, Dan and Garrett have turned a mournful dirge into an anthem of celebration and Wow, just love it! Thanks for your reaction!

I absolutely love this version of this song. I never saw Titanic but certainly had heard the Celine Dion version. Dan's version is now my go to song to get up and get moving. Absolutely energising.

I loved Dan's "upgrade" of this very special, but old and tired song. I loved the vibrance and vitality that was brought into this recreation. I agree that Dan and Garrett worked extremely well together and I thought Garett's guitar work was amazing! I loved that this much loved song has gotten a shot of electricity and a huge facelift (earlift?). As someone who has kept a loved-one safe in my heart for a very long time, I appreciate the strength and conviction Dan has given to this.

I imagine in another timeline, Jack (Leo D.) dozed off, then woke only to find his true love, Kate Winslett , had slipped off the door and into the ocean depths. Is this the version Jack would sing 50 years after he pulled himself out of the water and back onto the floating door? I think Dan made a version of love lost from a man's perspective. Celine sang from a female's perspective. Both are great.

Don't forget there are some really great women singers from there, as well. In face, one of them has sung with Dan -- Violet Orlandi. She lives in Canada now, but she was born and raised in Brazil. Then, as for males, don't forget Andre Matos! He was involved in the heavy metal bands Viper, Angra, Shaman and Symfonia. Also, he was one of Dan's mentors, and is the reason Dan can sing "Wuthering Heights." 😀

Expect the unexpected from Dan Vasc. I love this cover but would LOVE here him sing it all slow as well. I really liked ur review as u picked up on thing that other reviews haven't. I always admited Celine's skills with this song, but I never loved the song itself until Dan & Garett. Now it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It went from a tear jerker to a headbanger. Much better in my opinion. Didn't care for the original.
I can almost see Dan and Gareth deciding how they were going to handle this one. It pretty much came down to "Screw this maudlin mood, we're gonna take these words and turn it to a power metal anthem to love..." Btw, Gareth hasn't been on the channel lately, but he used to work regularly with Dan. Off the top of my head, the cover of Angra's Carry On features him in a last minute homage to frontman André Matos when he passed. 🤘🤘
A lot of my friends did not like the original song but they love this one. As a rule I like Dan's version of all the songs he does. Vasc nation has spread all across the U.S. we are trying to get him to 1 million subs. ❤ Mary b.
Dan Vasc delivers. He is a musician through and through and knows his craft. The song surpasses the original by far. All in all a masterpiece ♥️🤘. By the way, the original is also beautifully sung by Celine Dion and fits the film 👍

Dan's version wins, hands down! Celine has a nice voice but I was never a fan of the style of music she sang. I thought her version was sad, sappy and formulistic. In my defense, I have read that Celine did not like it either.
