Dan Vasc can elevate a song,any song,just with his powerful, beautiful and unique voice. When he works together with a guitarist as good as GarrettJPeters it becomes a real masterpiece as that one,just knocking you off your feet. Absolutely insane.

I was never a fan of this song until Dan "fixed it"-now Iove it!
Oh gosh yes! I was in my early 20's when the movie/theme song came out and the first time I heard Celine sing it, it really tied you to the movie. BUT having it played over and over and over and over was what killed it for a lot of people, including me and i often wished it would join it on the ocean floor (Sorry, not sorry, Celine!).
But now ... OMFG i've listened to it several dozen times already! Dan is a rare musical genius and he's reawakened my love of metal.
I say this every time he drops a new song: this is my new favorite!
I know what you mean, and it gives me dilemma’s. Do I just put the newest on repeat or do I listen to the others as well. Usually I binge listen the new song and get back to more general listening after days/weeks 😊

Then a new one comes out and I’m turning in circles like the village idiot. I’m nuts. I cannot fathom why his music has become more important than all other singers. Dan Vasc is going stellar! This is one of the most iconic metal renditions of all time. Dan's highest note, when his voice jumped over to the guitar's cry, was E6, beyond the usual range for most tenors. Dan sends us strong messages with this song. Which ones apply to each and another, that's something everyone should figure out for themselves. I got mine :)

I'm said in other posts that this reminds me of a roller coaster with the guitar solo intro edging us slowly up to the top of the coaster. From there its non-stop fast curving left then right, through the corkscrews, never losing speed until finally the ride comes to a stop. Then, out of breath you think 'that was so amazing - we got to go again'.
There was no imagination capable of even coming close to this final release even with all the hints being dropped prior. LOL. Dan and Garrett were flat out spectacular and after Dan’s killer grin, the tempo slows and IMO, Dan pays a moment’s homage to Celine which I really love. Your Dan Vasc reactions are so enjoyable, lots of appreciative excitement and bits of humor! So awesome. Thanks for another great one! 😊

As always, your reactions are spot on, with great humor, and in the "Italian style" (arms waving wildly 😂) of appreciating something that you like! Celine did an unforgetable version that was so beloved that it was almost killed by overplaying, and being sung by innumerable artists, yet all in a similar fashion. THEN, Dan, being Dan, came out with a version in his style which is simply incredible. It just goes to show you how the same song, sung in two COMPLETELY different styles can still be fantastic each way. As in the past, Dan has taken numerous songs, and made them his own! What an incredible talent! It's no wonder that he is the #1 artist on RUclips! I am an 81 year old who has come to really appreciate a lot of "Metal" because of Dan!
