He don’t miss. Dan just don’t miss! I love everything about this song.🎙️🎶🎶🎶That very last note…Dan splits it into 2 notes halfway through singing it. Either polyphonic splitting or overtone distortion, (I’m still learning…)Only the most skilled singers can do that.

If you want more of those growls from Dan, good luck. He only does it in 2 other songs "poker face" and "majesty". The vibrato (the shaky jaw part) is from years of strengthening those muscles. Watch Bruce Dickinson (iron maiden singer) sing "tears of the dragon" and watch the crazy jaw movement he has, lots and lots of practice.
And one in O Holy Night and a few other songs.
@@umarae27 sure, but they're small bit parts, not as part of the chorus like it is in "bring me to life" or "poker face". He does those types of screams but rarely consistently throughout the song, that's why I said only those 3 songs

Dan sings a cover of Tears of a Dragon…stunning! He does mess up one lyric and I don’t even care. It sounds & looks fantastic.
That cover is just fire,a real explosion. Dan s powerful voice, the full growls and screamings are absolutely phenomenal. We' re never pepared for what Dan is going to deliver but you must be preperaded for something great,wonderful unexpected and mindblowing. He really killed this one. Epic.

Once again I really really enjoyed your reaction. There is a reactor who's channel is called Viking reacts. He reacted to Dan's cover of Bring Me to Life and in his head he wanted to hear him singing it with Evanescence. Since that video didn't exist he made one. To call it a mashup of the evanescence video and Dan's cover is an insult to his work. He has seamlessly interwoven them together for a stunning piece of visual art. Here's the link and I think he's done it for other dan vasc songs but I just haven't seen any of them yet

That long, ascending growl Dan does is incredible. He does it in his metal version of Priscilla's Song, too. Ken Lavigne just did a reaction to that one to give a vocal coach term for it & he finally just said "it's a Dan Vasc thing". Lol.
I love Dan Vasc’s cover of this song. I’ve listened to it daily for months. Until I discovered Corvyx’s cover (in the original key). Dan’s cover is POWER. Corvyx’s is PAIN. Now, I listen daily to whichever version fits my need. Both are unbelievably beautiful.

I love listening to this song because of the exception level of his vocal techniques. Yes, i am aware that this sogn is about loss and sadness, but that doesn’t really matter to me.
