Another all nighter putting this one together :) hope you enjoy it, crazy to look back at all this from our current perspective. Streaming live tonight, make sure to check the link in the description. Ok I’m going to go grab a nap now 🙌 thanks for watching
The programming on this is brilliant, nice work! The drop after the build up at 9:55 is one of those moments that gives you goosebumps and a massive grin, where everything just works perfectly together! Awesome!
From the archives? Nah, this seems like the standard time between filming and release after you find time to edit 😁! Seriously though, thanks for keeping up with the amazing content during these times.

I love your videos for a multitude of reasons, but my favorite part about your career/RUclips as a whole is how you got here. Re-watching your first posts until now motivates me so much dude. Starting from your garage doing small gigs to being the lead LD for big artists, all by putting in the grind, working smart, and following your passion intelligently. I’m super glad you’ve documented your way to the top because it motivates me to put in work everyday towards my passion, but most of all it’s proof that you can have careers that other people don’t see as a plausible. Big inspiration 🙏🏼
I just wanted to thank you.. I'm a little older doing lights and sound in the 90z house and trance kind of stuff But I did not know Louis the child ... I effing love them so thanks!
If you work in production this is something you try to do all the time (fit the given gear in as little elevator trips as possible) and it's usually noteworthy.
One thing I wish for is one day back stage passes to meet and greet the techs behind the shows in a matter of minutes when talking to techs you learn more then you ever do in a tech theater class
Christian, it was an honour to meet you at the Anthem.(I was the guy who works there) I'm so glad you enjoyed our venue, hope to see you back sometime soon!
😭 I miss live shows the creation of entertainment no mater how small or big the job of making it happen will always have an awe factor for me much like a small kiddo on Christmas opening the presents the anticipation and excitement washing over you the energy from the crowd .even the little hang ups like power issues . Vehicle troubles late arrival and crunch times to setup on time . Hats off to you
So for anyone curious 9:30, Anthem, and Merriweather Post Pavillion are all under the same independent production umbrella of I.M.P. its a gorgeous venue though. #supportindependentvenues
Christian that's ana amazing XF around the 10-10 01 mark that chase across the back how did u program that as the fx moves accross the stage. Really kool position
Were you controlling Resolume time code video playback via GrandMA2 as well for this time code show? No need for a seperate Resolume playback operator? VJ video jockey? That’s just awesome. No stress time code show ❤🎉
To be clear: A "timecoded show" means basically the whole thing is prerecorded, right? Hit "play" at the start and everyone (LD, musicians, etc) gets to dance around for the duration of the show. Essentially nothing is live (apart from the dancing around and/or cupcakes)?
Dr Tune no not really, it will mean that they will play to metronome at least - so there is no room for change of song length etc. However there are backing tracks and stuff here but they’re still playing their instruments on stage live, as for the LD there might be things in the set which they trigger manually however the majority is as you say ‘pre-recorded’, however time coding a show doesn’t make you a ‘cheat’ since you have to go from venue to venue adapting with different rigs and program it all to fit every single night - arguably it’s harder than non time coding if your touring without a full package
You have to do it twice in MA. You have to do the patch first then you have to go arrange it all in 3D. You can do both simultaneously in capture and then you have a capture file to pre viz with to boot.

The story between Scott and Christian, is like Romeo and Juliet. They from different families (lighting and audio) but they still love each other :)
Maybe a kind of random question, but do you know the name of Scott's channel, or where to find it?
@@maxerrules I found it a while back, cant remember the name but he hasn’t posted in yearssss
@@gamermason4 Ok, thanks nevertheless!

I've done several shows there, one of my favorite! Excellent local crew!
I saw LTC flash across the lights and I thought you were giving a shout out to linear time code
10:29 christian jackson telling the audience how the show is triggered

Christian, your production is super clean. Loving the content. Keep up the great work.
Ahhh these take me back to the days we used to do shows
Hollyyyyyyy. That gantry system among everything else (like actual power at FOH!) is incredible. What a well designed and thought out venue.

Took you longer to figure out the elevator than to set up the show for this venue

Thought today was pelican day, apparently not, well this is just as great!
*BMFLs move on gantry system*
Me: "Wow that's f**kin cool"
Was that the DS Truss on a trolley? That's the first time I have seen that, very handy.
at first I thought the 'LTC' from the LED panels under the deck stood for "linear time code" then I remembered who the artist was lol
What is the program for minute 2:30? I need a program to make a technical lighting ridder, what do you recommend?
Capture? Lighting visualisation software
song 10:16 ?

Thank you so much! I'm trying to set up a home set in these times. Any gear recommendations i should start with for this?
Can you make a video about what’s in your peli case?

I love your videos because someday I would like to dedicate myself to doing that ... I have a question. What career did you study to work on this?
How many universes was used? Do you have a preference between Atrnet or Streaming ACN?
Can you do a video on how your Capture import translates to MA groups, etc
venues do be fully locked up. How tf you get inside when touring. Then you have to wait for the venue manager to let you in grrrr
Epic
Which console it's
Are those LA Amp Racks driving for monitors?
Yes
*Taps head* it’s easy to fit FOH in an elevator when its just a laptop and a wing.
Galaxy brain!
everybody like your video
What camera do you usually use at FOH to record your shows??
Alec Molinaro i think it was a gopro hero 6 :)
9:56 fuck me this is great
Hi im looking into becoming a tour LD how do i

Why/how is capture faster patching than MA?
You have to do it twice in MA. You have to do the patch first then you have to go arrange it all in 3D. You can do both simultaneously in capture and then you have a capture file to pre viz with to boot.
Please teach me bro...
Whats a cupcake? Im guessing its not for eating?
Đến bây gừo t mới biết tại sao cái đèn nó chớp đẹp đến vậy
Cupcakes are way better than a gantry system
