I love how in the book. James describes Alice as the victim who got away. Because he targeted her before she was turned Into a vampire. And in the movies Alice is the one to kill him. I think they did it on purpose but I don't know. Cool tho

the first film definitely leans more towards the horror genre, its intense and you actually fear for bellas safety but as the films progress i think the series becomes more and more nonsensical the films become more action fantasy w diamond body decapitations (which i still enjoyed) but catherine hardwickes vision is the og i wish they stuck to it

James expected it and was prepared, while Victoria was caught off guard and lost controll.
Well, some vampires can kind of control it. If you member Jasper had trouble controlling that too because he still kind of knew and I think Aly had trouble controlling a little little bit at one time but she managed to do it but they sit there and try to control it that’s why someone can do it can’t
Bella was actually that friend we all have that's always running off half cocked trying to save everyone but actually does more harm than good by causing trouble or dangerous situations due to them having to be the one that needs saving. I always found her the weakest link in all the Twilight films, she'd be like a good lead character for a Clueless version of a vampire movie.
Bella is not the weakest link, she is the only one that drives the story forward. She is the catalyst through which the Cullen clan demonstrates that although vampire nature is to destroy, they live by their philosophy that human life has value. And even they struggle with it from time to time. She brought out their humanity. That said, her risk-taking (riding the motorcycle, cliff diving, trying to save her dad and mother, etc...) is not a weakness, but the height of her humanity and her willingness to self-sacrifice. She did all that despite being fragile and that is the very definition of bravery.
@@PrincessofErised I am speaking only of Bella in the movies not the books and it's my opinion just as what you expressed is yours and my opinion hasn't changed. I also said nothing about her risk taking after Edward left as that had nothing to do with this film or the discussion of it, it's an entirely different movie ( book.)

In the books, Carlisle was tending to her wounds which were much worse. He had to stop the bleeding fast if Edward was going to be taking some from her. It’s not because its sexual lmao..

I don't know much about the series, but after watching this scene, I'm wondering about something. Why did the head of the Cullens stop Edward from killing the vampire, telling him to remember who he was, but then Alice almost twists his head off and they burn him?
He was going to prey on him. Consume him instead of just killing him which would make him a cannibal vampire. This is a high crime in vampire world and will get your entire family immolated.

Well to be fair bella had a whole other dying pain going on which was much much worse than just a wound thats bleeding out, she was literally bitten by a fuckin vampire and describes the pain like it's burning her, which i can imagine its extremely writhing and nearly unendurable.
I agree but I think it's a natural reaction to yank it out.
If a doctor is nearby and ready to stop the bleeding, things sticking out of injured can be removed. They need to get removed at some point anyways.

In the book Bella loses consciousness and falls asleep thinking she went to heaven after James attacks her, she later ‘wakes up’ seeing Edward crying for her while Carlisle, Alice, and Edward tend to her wounds. But something I wish they kept in the movies was where in the books Bella wants to go back to sleep after they finish tending to her wounds and she doesn’t want to be moved to the hospital so Edward says something like, “You can sleep sweetheart, I’ll carry you.” I think it shows how much he really loved her, whereas in the movie they left out many important scenes where Bella and Edward bond or/and grow closer together.
