I operate a cat road grader and one of those unknown switches looked like a hydraulic lockout switch....which would basically lock out the loader but still allow you to drive the machine...on most equipment it is recommended you use that in road travel
Great video. Little sultion to snow and ice on your back window. I use fly by forty made by car pro on my kenworth windows and works great for snow and ice. Hauling rock in Ontario it is great to see where your going
Extremely late but any skid steer can get the job done but I’m personally used to Cats controls and setup being I drive every combination of the bigger skid steers every day. Every machine is different but I’d prefer a 259D3 or a 289D3, currently have a 289D3 spec’d out, just waiting for the right time: led lights, high flow xps, reversing hydraulic fan, polycarbonate door. Was thinking of black color but from what I see at the factory as an assembler, black scratches extremely easily.
I like machines, big and small. Ideally, the bigger the better, but the little ones are much smoother to use and can do more than you might think. An interesting video as always.
It was a great video, it’s a nice skid steer, the thing about those tracks they are meant for snow and then snow only they really really suck in dirt or anything like that. I know you guys use it for anything and everything that you guys do but it’s not meant for dirt from what I know. Have a great week!
How does it do in the snow. Im about to purchase this machine and it will be on a condo complex and needs to get good traction. I herd track machines are bad. Your thoughts?
If you are on gravel or running on big agg you want a ctl.....also this style(Mtl) will cost a lot more when it comes time for under carriage replacement and sooner......however the mtl run smoother over bumps and is good on grassy locations and softer material
The problem with LED’s while plowing snow is that they don’t typically produce enough heat to melt the snow that blows on them. Therefore, low light. They would have to put on some sort of lense heater
Ken White Construction May want to contact your local dealer and find out. Maybe like you said it was an option that you didn’t know about for the Skid Steer.
Fucking right I want a review on the backhoe
Nice review.
CAT is king
Bobcat, jcb , wacker has no regeneration, only catalyst under 75 hp
MTL model undercarried is very very weak. I had one, and i Will not buy MTL never. If you want Cat, Take CTL
Kubota engine with cat components
Siiiickkkk it's like a TV show lol
hah!
good video

I never ran one of those but maybe those buttons are for reset to dig position or attachment preset position
Backhoe review! I bet the review videos will be really popular

Awesome Randy! Thanks for the tip!
Ride control is like shock absorbers in the lift arm hydraulics.
Awesome summarization. Way better than myself haha.
I like your vids and as i was driving from hockey i saw one of your excavators by the komatsu dealership

ehhh a 20ton trackhoe is smoother then a mini if you mean hydraulically but you can do a hell of a lot with the little guys
It looks like your low on antifreeze also some led lights do not get warm to melt snow

Need to see it in action with your configuration of snow plow etc. would be more meaningful
Thanks, I was hoping you would review. Why did you chose that bottom over the 259D? thinking about getting one, looking for feedback, Thanks a lot!

You’re only 23?
First guy I've seen with the MTL. Was your choice b/c of delicate surfaces or comfort.
Good review thanks for the info.

Ah, gotcha, makes perfect sense. I see them on their loaders so I’m wondering what they do to fix that.

do you have a hydralic hammer for the skid steer
no but we rent one from the local cat dealer and man does it work well
Nice vid
if had my equipment sitting in the yard , i have trickle charger on the battery
Ride Control on loaders is usual their is a air over oil cylinder connected to your loader arm hydraulic circuit and act like shock absorbed
awesome, thanks
