Impressive how fast the chain-drive 'Nash changes ratio - sounds almost as fast as a modern sequential gearbox.

They use dog cogs to engage gear - no need to double declutch! You can change gear as fast as you can move the gear lever. :)

@@paulbaker9880 Indeed - my father used to drive a mid-1920s Anzani-engined 'Nash in hill-climbs in the '30s.
