Quite spectacular videography; your camera person is especially lifted. The drone footage is superb. The whole thing looks like it was made by the Flite Test team.
I have the larger 1.7m version and it's an absolute gem to fly. In my opinion it looks best when flown in a scale manner with lots of touch and go's thrown in for good measure. I fitted it with the soft rubber wheels tyres from a Durafly Tundra and modded the UC for a more scale like appearance.
Bigger models fly better but not everyone can afford them or be bothered with the hassle of transporting them. Our 1.7m PA-18 video is uploaded for members and I'll publish it soon.
Did FMS sent you a whole container full of planes? 😁 Looks like a nice beginner package. I'm still flying my old, beat up E-Flite Carbon Cub and love to STOL it, also FPV now. Btw. what do you do with all the planes, after you reviewed them?
Eh, yeah, you can. Might want to ensure the battery is secured properly first but sure you can. If the CG marks are on top of the wing its probably the best thing to do.

Fantastic Bush Plane! The flaps for slow flight is absolutely great. Nice power as well. See you in the Air!

Nice review of the PA-18 1.3m, really showed how this can fit with all levels of pilots.
Thanks Tony. So easy for Expert pilots to assume this kinda RC could be boring. Certainly not ! Appreciate the feedback.
That is my kinda plane. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful plane! Lovely drone work too!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice little beginner model Dom, so well sorted 👍
Makes me wonder why I spend money on big stuff Cliff. These smaller RCs fly so well and have so much fun with them. Happy New Year chap !

Yup...they sent me a whole load for review. I hang them off the ceiling after done. Will be using them a lot more during 2023. e.g. FPV glider towing
You would not turn model upside down to check cg.

@@EssentialRC For a low wing, yes. Not a high wing.
It needs about the same amount of runway as a drone lol
🤣
That'd make a brilliant trainer compared to the ic balsa trainers I learned to fly with.
Wait until you see the 1.7m. Even better !
@@EssentialRC Can't wait, I have a soft spot for piper cubs.

Too early for sarcasm Chad.
