Crisp new white 95s with orange tick same thing applies as the first two. For commercial town centres only. Need to keep them looking good or they become tramp shoes.

Actually HG is right about that, there was a model between the AM1 and the AM90, which was called air max light or air max II. The II indicates the order of release, so the AM90 was air max III so to speak. Back in the days they just called air max btw. ISweatglitter has a good point too, but he is reffering to airmax2 which was a renewed air max system and came out around 94 in deed but it has nothing to do with the order of releases of the shoes itself

I simply adore Air Max 1, is a corner stone in sneaker culture and underground and pop culture at the same time, I have a very small collection, not even 10 pairs, but it includes a least the watermelons, the currys, the desert sand and grey mints :D
The AM1 has a sleek design but the sizing doesn't fit my wide feet, usually I'll increase the size by half to one, while the AM90 has a bulky design but very stylish, fun with the color and perfect sizing, compared to modern sneakers for classic shoes AM90 is quite comfortable to wear all day

I own few pairs of both models, of course I own more pairs of Air Max 1 than 90’s, both models are comfy and depending on the materials and year version it happens to be the air max 1 super comfy. I paid 360€ for a pre owned pair of the watermelons, pristine condition, a couple years ago and I just love them! Super comfy and a true neck breaker! Thanks! Blessings!
Am1 are my fav am on all. Because I like a swoosh how they look a air don’t look to aggressive and nike air part behind look more acceptable than 90's one with a big plastic plate
So I've always been curious why are air max ones always way better quality than most all Nikes as well as they seem to always be more limited than any other Air Max model and the resale is always crazy high compared to other Air Max models. Do they do that because it's such a classic OG silhouette that they only put top quality on it and don't make them massive gr?(usually) I mean the quality on the last pair from last week the denim premiums was some Top Notch quality

Air max 1 is better for sure. It’s a cleaner better quality shoe, for example the Nike air stitching on the back less plastic. Air max 90 has too much going on, way too many plastic flaps and stuff. Imo it’s AM1, AM97, AM95, AM90 in that order…
