    Hi! Great video, thank you!
    A few remarks on the stats at the end, specifically the number of trade cards taken during a game. My guess for the reason I actually pick more than the average is the following. If a player keeps taking trade cards from the board, you often (not always) have to keep defending and also take away some of the trade cards still on the board. Thus in the end, the difference in the number of trade cards picked by each player tends not to get too big. This isn't always the case, but this effect should be responsible for that stat on the number of trade cards taken during a game.
    Other than that, yeah, do trades with a multiplier as much as possible. For beginners, that should be the first main point. The second point is to not buy point cards immediately when you can, but keep some cubes for restarting.

    Omg! I read the article that you mentioned in the videos, also watched some of the #1 players games, but I didn't know that he was the author of the article. No surprise to see how wonderful he explained the combinations in the article! Overall awesome guide as always!

    This is a great guide. It has a lot of info that the other videos about Spice Road do not have. Fantastic.

    This was so useful! I'm so happy I stumbled across your video when I decided to show this game to my friend! Thank you very much for your work!

    Actually didn't realise that the scoring cards are just like the Parks cards until you mentioned it in the video.
    Very nice video. Making progress on the editing, every frame is very pretty.

    Nice job with this video! Special thanks for including h_illes' guide - after this video and that article I went from a 200s player to today having the #3 rated player concede to me towards the end of a heads-up match 😳

      No idea if you'd be up for it, but would you be interested in collaborating on an Agricola beginner's strategy guide? I think you do a very good job explaining the basic level of things and I usually aim my content towards intermediate+ players.

      Thanks! h_illes' guide is too comprehensive not to include, his understanding of the game is on another level.

    I like your work to make this viewable for those who are colour blind.
    Finding out that the scoring cards are all based on the same formula at first made me disappointed in the game.
    Then I realized that most of the game is the engine building aspect and timing and calculating everything.
    Thank you for the link to h_illes

    Looking great! I really enjoyed this one. How do you get your fonts for the thumbnails?

    • @NoWondersTV
      @NoWondersTV  2 года назад +3

      Canva is a free online tool we've been using recently for thumbnails and graphics. Has a great selection of fonts.

      Hello, Gwladys here.
      So yes, I've been using Canva lately because of how easy it is to use but back in the day, I'd download and install fonts from the website www.dafont.com/ that I highly recommend.
      It is still running and the possibilities are endless. Then, I would install the fonts on my computer and would be able to use them with any software (from Microsoft Word to Photoshop!) which is very handy.

      @@NoWondersTV Thank you both! There are a ton of free tools but they don't always have great results so this is for sure helpful.

    Upgrade card 2Y->2R, how can I use it as many times as I wish? With Rest action between - right?

    • @NoWondersTV
      @NoWondersTV  11 месяцев назад

      You can use the effect as many times as you want, as long as you have the cubes. You can do 10Y>10R in 1 turn. 10 is the maximum number of cubes you can hold, so after that you would need to rest to get it back, yes.

      @@NoWondersTV Where this rule is writen? In rules we have ... "Upgrade Cards
      When playing a ‘Upgrade 2’ card, you MAY
      upgrade a cube on your caravan 1 level
      and then upgrade a cube 1 level again. It is
      not mandatory to upgrade all cubes from
      an upgrade card. For example, you may
      upgrade a yellow cube to a red cube and
      then upgrade another yellow cube to a
      red cube, or you can upgrade a yellow cube to a red cube and then upgrade that red cube to a green cube."

      @@Aba19xx Ah, I see the confusion. The 2Y>2R card is not an upgrade card, it is an exchange or trade card. I don't know what the official rules call them as I don't own a copy of the game. It should be in the next section of the rulebook after Upgrade cards.
