That's soooo true - when you go to Korea, you force yourself to speak the language coz you realise you're stuck in the deep end. Those with sufficient motivation will learn the language enough to keep them afloat, and those who are passionate will take it further by building enough confidence to take long strides so that they learn to master the language.
