Wow. This song really hits home for me. The pill bottle visualized as luck was really powerful. ADHD medication is really useful but not very easy to get. I can totally relate to that feeling of my pills running out and saying to myself "aw shit tomorrow is gonna be really difficult now ;(".
I'm not on pills but run out of luck because it's lucky I get anything done and it runs out eventually 🤷

as an ADHDer, i've never felt so represented and heard by a song than i do now. i feel awful about myself for the way i am, even though my ADHD is mostly to blame for it. it's part of what makes me suicidal, but i know if i keep going maybe one day i'll learn to live with ADHD properly. for now i'll take my time. thank you for making this song.

FINALLY! A song that addresses in it's meaning ALL the problems us ADHDers go through including the emotional dysregulation and anxiety parts! Many people who don't have it thinks it's only us being distracted and "lazy"- but that's the mere pin point of what it is!!!

ADD is considered ADHD nowadays. Has for a few yrs now. Doctors lumped it all together, which is kinda hilarious as I got diagnosed with both as a kid.

What is worse is that this is just the top of it represented in the song. The worst part of having it is the infinite amount of hobbies to juggle around trying to keep your dysfunctional brain engaged with some things long enough to get good enough to be able to get into a profession if you don't just end up coming across as aloof or distracted by an interviewer.
The way people used to refuse to believe that actually having some music on in the background helped you focus until some study found it helped most students perform, then everything started trying to utilize the tactics to raise their averages to get more money from the government until someone threw a fit about it in some agencies somewhere.
Honestly if the world would just slow down and stop trying to enforce rigid pathways for everyone to follow without exception, everything would end up better because it would finally be recognizing that every human is unique and has unique needs for themselves to excel. A good first step is having a system to enforce that parents don't abuse their kids into conformity when they just aren't the average, getting the kids to parents who would better match with either a special needs, above average IQ, or anything else child so they can thrive.
Would be nice if everything quit being affected by the socially regurgitated belief that someone is a failure if they are not the best fit to raise their own children because that child probably got genes in the exact sequence which led to them being different from their parents or the social environment they have to interact with has changed from the one their parents grew up in. The best thing would be to have it legally defined as abuse to force a child to act in accordance to what was the norm when they grew up instead of preparing them for the current social environment they have to deal with, hold parents accountable to keep up with their children and how society is changing.

Well I'm definitely showing this to my sister. This song isn't exactly either of our styles of music, but recently she's realized that she might have ADHD. She's still getting a diagnosis from a counselor on whether she has it or not, but there's quite a bit of evidence for it.
