I feel the same way, I don't play much BTD6, sometimes for months staight, but I still watch the newest ISAB video as soon as possible and enjoy every last bit of his videos. They really help me relax and keep me interested or distracted when going through a tough time. I hope his loved one recovers so they can feel well again, for all that he's done for us.
I wasn’t here quite that early, but I remember the days when most of his content was challenge editor, and 2 mega pops was hard. I never really got into playing btd6, and if you knew me as a person, you’d never consider me the type of guy to regularly watch any RUclips, much less a game like btd6, but I still watch every isab video. My life is great! No complaints, but having an isab video to watch most days makes my nights that much better

Still I dont get bored of him doing challenges and hes just a cool person overall, nowadays finding youtubers that are still about just having fun and not shamelessly scamming viewers for money like mr beast or whatever is getting rare

This is not a donation. I just want to say that your videos has helped me. About four years ago we had to see a bunch of different specialists for my oldest son. It was a tough time in my life and listening to you talk Btd6 math or even make stupid jokes about the engis white stuff and Gwens cans, gave me comfort. And, as you seem to realize now making these videos, where ever one can find just a few minutes of "rest for your brain" or what we should call it, is worth so much. I, like you, don't want to go into details. But my son is doing great and so am I. I just wanted to share that I've been a viewer for a few years and I'm currently going through cancer. It's really rough even though it seems likely I'll pull through at this point. Your videos have given me comfort in the very lonely hospital where I'm at all the time. Having health or other issues deeply affect your QOL is really, really shitty. Taking time away or focusing on yourself and finding out how to cope is what is best. And even if my situation is not like your friends, there is often a profound sense of loneliness correlated with massive decreases in QOL. Be with them. They'll be happy they spend the time with you :)

I would like to say that, when you were going through a rough time with your skin condition, I was also having a bad time due to really bad gastrits (you might even remember, cause I remember talking about it with on Reddit/Twitch or whatever, cant remember). Definitively it wasnt as bad as your skin condition, but still, it was (and still is) something that fits the criteria of "being too uncomfortable to do anything", like you also mentioned you had. Constant pain, cant eat, almost throwing up after trying to eat anything, etc. That time, watching your videos really helped me with all that, since seeing you going forward really made me think like "well he is definitively feeling worse than me and is still doing all that, so I gotta keep my shit together". Not only that, but back then, I also mentioned the story of an aunt of mine who went through absolute hell in the last few months of pregnancy. It was a really delicate situation, that no one really knew what was going to happen, how things would be, etc. And yet, it all worked out in the end. My gastrits, your skin condition, and my aunt and her perfect and healthy kid. Everyone has to deal with some side effects after all that, sure, but we still here after all, and I guess your channel really has this meaning for me after all this time. Its like a constant reminder that shit happens, but we keep going and things eventually work out and become memories after all. Its fairly funny to find such motivation in a community surrouding monkeys popping bloons, but I guess everything in life is really just about the meaning you give it. This all helped me keep my shit together back then, and Im sure you will keep it together, both you and the person going through the rough time. Im sure your community will be around for giving as much support as possible, myself included. Wish you two the best ❤
i haven't kept up with BTD6 ever since probably a few weeks before 41.0 dropped (starting college and work burned me out + some depression), but as a long time viewer (back from the Battles 1 days), it's nice to see you finally getting better i remember those times everyone was really worried about your well being, especially with how a lot of the treatment seem to fail it's amazing to see you improve and get well, and i hope your well being can improve more now that you're allowing yourself to take more breaks hope the other person can get the help they need, we'll always be here for anything take care mate, love you 💜

It’s really nice to see that even if you don’t feel anything more than a brand or channel, there’s lots of people who feel more connected than that. I don’t have any sob story of my own or a connection I can share, but I am a person with thoughts and emotions! And you are too, and so is this other person going through something so terrible. I’ve often had many thoughts about ways that life can be ruthless, and from what you’ve said, it’s likely worse than most things I’ve thought of. I offer my support in watching your videos, and I send well wishes to you and your friend. I wish that you strive not for the goal of normalcy during this time but just for the well being of you and your friend, as much as you can. Have faith in you and your friend that things will turn out, and with that faith, do the best you can in the moment. I wish I knew exactly what to say here to portray exactly what I'm feeling but I'll try. A lot of what you said here genuinely really resonated with me, I don't suffer from as bad health issues as you mentioned in the video but that thing you mentioned about how you'd delete your RUclips channel for your situation to be resolved really hit me, the want to live a normal life and being ready to sacrifice such a huge part of your existing life is exactly what I did recently, I'm so immensely lucky that I had that opportunity to possibly improve my quality of life and I'm so grateful. I don't mean to rub it in your face or something by saying that, it just made me notice how grateful I should be. I hope this lands well and doesn't sound like I'm bragging but it was a bit of a wake-up call that I need to make the most of what I have at the moment. I cannot exaggerate that you helped me change and be a better person and help others smile. I remember when you first brought up your skin condition back when I started binge watching your content in 2019. I really prayed hard for you to get better, back then you mentioned that you weren't religious so I prayed on your behalf lmao. The fact of the matter is that I just wanted to help, even indirectly since I love your videos and if anything bad happened to you, we would be in shambles. I suppose that I can say this on everyone's behalf that even if the videos won't be pumped out as quickly as it was, we will be here and we will be waiting since we don't watch ISAB because of the Bloons content, we watch ISAB because of all the humor that you bring to life. @@genio2509 it would be stuff like : assuming the ace pilot has truly random targeting, find the probability of a dart hitting a bloon given certain parameters etc. a lot of playing with cramers numbers and changing around alpha levels etc. he would watch some videos where ISAB would retry something that was up to targeting/aim micro and tell the class to calculate at what point does a certain scenario hit certain alpha levels etc. super fun class. Did some fun stuff with perceived volume of bloons etc as well. He really went bloon crazy after a while. A lot of bloon SPSS calculating as well

ISAB I have been praying for you and your family, and that person who is really important to you and their family as well. I love that you love your career. She is super sweet and I will forever cherish our thanksgiving memories together. Now its hard to see her out of the house. Its always a special moment receiving her amazing hugs. She is so strong. So I kinda relate to that. You're so right about life being so precious. People don't realize how lucky they are with their health. Our bodies are insane creations that enable us to do so many amazing things. And health can just hit you out of nowhere. I always try to be grateful for my healthy body as much as I can. I’ve been watching ever since at least the update videos back 3-5 years ago and it’s honestly so great to hear that you’re doing better. In regards to the current situation, it can be almost just as painful to be very close to someone who is suffering as it is to be the one suffering. Even when you might be doing many good things for them, it can often feel like you aren’t doing enough, and you might wish you could do more. Make sure you remember that whatever you are doing, you’re making their life just that much better, which can be monumentally helpful. Of course, I’m sure you know you have the support of tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands behind you. You’ve given us all distractions from the hard times in our lives, the least we can do is support you during your own. All the best

Thank you ISAB, for all you have given us really. My taste on RUclips fluctuates a lot throughout time, in which all channels come and go, but you are the only channel that I've consistently watched almost every video when it aired since I discovered you in 2020, you were also the person that introduced me to BTD6, my now second most played game at around 700h. And even at my longest break I got sick of BTD6 all together, in 10 days I came back and binged everything. And now I think I can speak for most of us, we don't watch for the content, but for you, your soothing voice and charming personality, it feels like a cozy break from the day. I think you're at a point that even if the algorithm stops recommending you all together, you'd still make a decent amount of views from your loyal fanbase and subscribers. So if you really need you could just slowdown, maybe a video every 3 days even when things get the worst. All in all, I just wish you and your close person the best, and that you pull off ahead of this, just like you do in bloons. Hoping for the best and tons of love ❤

I had dealt with eczema 10 years ago, i was studying in this special type of school in france after passing high school, which basically prepares you for the hardest and most demanding schools/universities in france that have worldwide reputation almost. I've spent 2 years in this preparing school, and as it was extremely demanding, more and more stress was building up, and since i'm easily subject to stress and create reactions about stress, it ended up causing me a massive case of eczema all over my body. Most impacted zones were my back legs which were sompletly covered, but als a lot of parts of my body (arms, torso, nipples, eyebrows, etc... etc... from what i remember). And the way you described what you had gone through reminded me of how horrible it was. The itching. the constant itching. It never goes even if you scratch yourself. You scratch yourself to the blood, to the flesh, and it keeps itching. People would be like "stop scratching yourself!" And i would just become angry because people don't understand the suffering you go though when you have eczema. This constant pain that gets barely relieved when you scratch yourself, it's just painful. My mother was in shock when she saw this and was desperate for me, and almost everyone i knew were commenting on my bruises. I can't explain the shame of having to deal with this everyday, and yet i had to get up because i was in this very demanding school. I tried a lot of medication, and it wasn't working at all for me. Thankfully once i ended the school after two years, the stress levels dropped to the ground and i could recover pretty quickly. But to this day and for the rest of my life, i will never forget the pain i went though. Thank you ISAB for sharing this, it means a lot to me personnally that someone else knows what pain i went thgouh, and i hope the person you're close to will recover quickly, take care of them!

I know a couple of people have mentioned this already but I think most of us and me, watch you for your character and not for the bloons content. Take as much time off as you need my man and I know you're in a tough position where you don't want to make content some days but you need to for money, but it'll all work out. It always does. aw, eczema sucks... i have friends that suffered through it all their childhood and trust me it does go away with proper care!! they were full head to toe covered but now they are so cleared up you'd never even guess they had it

I feel the same way, I don't play much BTD6, sometimes for months staight, but I still watch the newest ISAB video as soon as possible and enjoy every last bit of his videos. They really help me relax and keep me interested or distracted when going through a tough time. I hope his loved one recovers so they can feel well again, for all that he's done for us.

I wasn’t here quite that early, but I remember the days when most of his content was challenge editor, and 2 mega pops was hard. I never really got into playing btd6, and if you knew me as a person, you’d never consider me the type of guy to regularly watch any RUclips, much less a game like btd6, but I still watch every isab video. My life is great! No complaints, but having an isab video to watch most days makes my nights that much better

I just wanted to share that I've been a viewer for a few years and I'm currently going through cancer. It's really rough even though it seems likely I'll pull through at this point. Your videos have given me comfort in the very lonely hospital where I'm at all the time. Having health or other issues deeply affect your QOL is really, really shitty. Taking time away or focusing on yourself and finding out how to cope is what is best. And even if my situation is not like your friends, there is often a profound sense of loneliness correlated with massive decreases in QOL. Be with them. They'll be happy they spend the time with you :)

That line about having a normal healthy life really hits different once you learn what some people struggle with, stay strong man!
I would like to say that, when you were going through a rough time with your skin condition, I was also having a bad time due to really bad gastrits (you might even remember, cause I remember talking about it with on Reddit/Twitch or whatever, cant remember). Definitively it wasnt as bad as your skin condition, but still, it was (and still is) something that fits the criteria of "being too uncomfortable to do anything", like you also mentioned you had. Constant pain, cant eat, almost throwing up after trying to eat anything, etc. That time, watching your videos really helped me with all that, since seeing you going forward really made me think like "well he is definitively feeling worse than me and is still doing all that, so I gotta keep my shit together".
Not only that, but back then, I also mentioned the story of an aunt of mine who went through absolute hell in the last few months of pregnancy. It was a really delicate situation, that no one really knew what was going to happen, how things would be, etc.
And yet, it all worked out in the end. My gastrits, your skin condition, and my aunt and her perfect and healthy kid. Everyone has to deal with some side effects after all that, sure, but we still here after all, and I guess your channel really has this meaning for me after all this time. Its like a constant reminder that shit happens, but we keep going and things eventually work out and become memories after all.
Its fairly funny to find such motivation in a community surrouding monkeys popping bloons, but I guess everything in life is really just about the meaning you give it. This all helped me keep my shit together back then, and Im sure you will keep it together, both you and the person going through the rough time. Im sure your community will be around for giving as much support as possible, myself included. Wish you two the best ❤

I’ve often had many thoughts about ways that life can be ruthless, and from what you’ve said, it’s likely worse than most things I’ve thought of. A lot of what you said here genuinely really resonated with me, I don't suffer from as bad health issues as you mentioned in the video but that thing you mentioned about how you'd delete your RUclips channel for your situation to be resolved really hit me, the want to live a normal life and being ready to sacrifice such a huge part of your existing life is exactly what I did recently, I'm so immensely lucky that I had that opportunity to possibly improve my quality of life and I'm so grateful. I don't mean to rub it in your face or something by saying that, it just made me notice how grateful I should be. I hope this lands well and doesn't sound like I'm bragging but it was a bit of a wake-up call that I need to make the most of what I have at the moment. I really prayed hard for you to get better, back then you mentioned that you weren't religious so I prayed on your behalf lmao. The fact of the matter is that I just wanted to help, even indirectly since I love your videos and if anything bad happened to you, we would be in shambles. I suppose that I can say this on everyone's behalf that even if the videos won't be pumped out as quickly as it was, we will be here and we will be waiting since we don't watch ISAB because of the Bloons content, we watch ISAB because of all the humor that you bring to life.

@@genio2509 it would be stuff like : assuming the ace pilot has truly random targeting, find the probability of a dart hitting a bloon given certain parameters etc. a lot of playing with cramers numbers and changing around alpha levels etc. he would watch some videos where ISAB would retry something that was up to targeting/aim micro and tell the class to calculate at what point does a certain scenario hit certain alpha levels etc. super fun class. Did some fun stuff with perceived volume of bloons etc as well. He really went bloon crazy after a while. A lot of bloon SPSS calculating as well

ISAB I have been praying for you and your family, and that person who is really important to you and their family as well. I love that you love your career. I’ve been watching ever since at least the update videos back 3-5 years ago and it’s honestly so great to hear that you’re doing better.
In regards to the current situation, it can be almost just as painful to be very close to someone who is suffering as it is to be the one suffering. Even when you might be doing many good things for them, it can often feel like you aren’t doing enough, and you might wish you could do more. Make sure you remember that whatever you are doing, you’re making their life just that much better, which can be monumentally helpful.
Of course, I’m sure you know you have the support of tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands behind you. You’ve given us all distractions from the hard times in our lives, the least we can do is support you during your own.

My taste on RUclips fluctuates a lot throughout time, in which all channels come and go, but you are the only channel that I've consistently watched almost every video when it aired since I discovered you in 2020, you were also the person that introduced me to BTD6, my now second most played game at around 700h. And even at my longest break I got sick of BTD6 all together, in 10 days I came back and binged everything.
And now I think I can speak for most of us, we don't watch for the content, but for you, your soothing voice and charming personality, it feels like a cozy break from the day.
I think you're at a point that even if the algorithm stops recommending you all together, you'd still make a decent amount of views from your loyal fanbase and subscribers. So if you really need you could just slowdown, maybe a video every 3 days even when things get the worst.
All in all, I just wish you and your close person the best, and that you pull off ahead of this, just like you do in bloons.

Still remember being so interested following all of your updates on reddit/twitter way back. Glad that you have been able to get to this point!
I had dealt with eczema 10 years ago, i was studying in this special type of school in france after passing high school, which basically prepares you for the hardest and most demanding schools/universities in france that have worldwide reputation almost. I've spent 2 years in this preparing school, and as it was extremely demanding, more and more stress was building up, and since i'm easily subject to stress and create reactions about stress, it ended up causing me a massive case of eczema all over my body. Most impacted zones were my back legs which were sompletly covered, but als a lot of parts of my body (arms, torso, nipples, eyebrows, etc... etc... from what i remember). And the way you described what you had gone through reminded me of how horrible it was.
The itching. the constant itching. It never goes even if you scratch yourself. You scratch yourself to the blood, to the flesh, and it keeps itching. People would be like "stop scratching yourself!" And i would just become angry because people don't understand the suffering you go though when you have eczema. This constant pain that gets barely relieved when you scratch yourself, it's just painful.
My mother was in shock when she saw this and was desperate for me, and almost everyone i knew were commenting on my bruises. I can't explain the shame of having to deal with this everyday, and yet i had to get up because i was in this very demanding school.
I tried a lot of medication, and it wasn't working at all for me. Thankfully once i ended the school after two years, the stress levels dropped to the ground and i could recover pretty quickly. But to this day and for the rest of my life, i will never forget the pain i went though.
Thank you ISAB for sharing this, it means a lot to me personnally that someone else knows what pain i went thgouh, and i hope the person you're close to will recover quickly, take care of them!

Great to hear that your conditions has greatly improved! Have been listening for an update and when I heard your voice in that main channel video I could tell the hurt in your voice. Me and many others in your community understand what it feels like to have someone you care about go through a really tough time and we all give our utmost support to you and your loved one to get through this tough time. As many others have said we won’t mind a decrease in videos or video quality your mental state and the state of your loved one are at the top of the list! Thats the point in life anyway to be happy! I understand your position on the matter, we will all be here for you, good luck brother!

Just like you mentioned in the video, distraction can be a great medication. I may not watch nearly as much as I used to but you were my distraction a few years back. A lot of people appreciate and acknowledge that things gets hard and we hope times get even better for you ISAB.

aw, eczema sucks... i have friends that suffered through it all their childhood and trust me it does go away with proper care!! they were full head to toe covered but now they are so cleared up you'd never even guess they had it
