The Habotest HT208D appears to be the exact same meter and is being sold on AliExpress for $47. I just got one and compared the exterior and the circuit board/components to those shown in another review of the Kaiweets and they appeared identical. All the functions are the same. (And yes, it is the HT 208D, not a 206 or 208A which are cheaper but don't have inrush capability)
@HVACTechTips I have the HT208D and do not get any inrush reading when my AC compressor starts up. The normal current draw on my AC compressor is 6.6A. Kaiweets tells me that if the inrush current is not above 10A, there will not be any reading on the meter. Do you know if this is true and have you tested inrush on anything less than 10A?
@@HVACTechTips. I was wondering about this as well. Couldn’t just glue a strong rare earth magnet on the back? But would that impact/effect readings? I truly don’t know….
Is this suitable for testing thermocouples in the 20-30mV range?

Good informative vdo How to buying HT 208D KAIWEETS I am from INDIA can you snd replay
It stinks that it only displays temperature in small font for fahrenheit.
Would have really like to see how to use the inrush current. I am not getting it to work.
Trying to figure out how you use this as your daily driver, since it appears not to be able to measure the microamps needed for a flame sensor.

Try to use MAX instead
Meters that default to DC gets annoying real quick IMHO.
You can't beat the price. Bonus light. Thxs for the review!
you can buy the magnets with a strap that go right on them from amazon for $10-20
It's a great video, I like it and I'll buy one
A word on accuracy particular on the DC Amps would have been helpful.
Good vid ... I subscribed to your channel ... Do I win anything ? Lol ... Thx for sharing ...
Thank you. I appreciate you subscribing!
Some aligator clips would be nice.
Hi!
You can measure the frequency with the clamp?
Can you change the outside temperature from celsius to fahrenheit?
Hola!
Puede medir la frecuencia por medio de la pinza??
What about the inrush current measurement
Could this KAIWEETS Digital Clamp Meter T-RMS 6000 Counts, Multimeter Volt…
$47.99 work for HVAC as well?
Yes! This is my daily meter I use
@@HVACTechTips Do you know of a similar product for smart probes? Field P the standard are high in price.
super
Kaiweets the unofficial Milwaukee meter
A magnet in the back would affect many functions,
A magnet don’t effect my fieldpiece and fluke meters.

Does it do miilivolts and microamps DC
Yes
nice video
Great review - thank you!
