The Willys MB and the Ford GPW, both formally called the U.S. Army Truck, 1⁄4‑ton, 4×4, Command Reconnaissance,[commonly known as the Willys Jeep,Jeep, or jeep,[ and sometimes referred to by its Standard Army vehicle supply nr. G-503 were highly successful American off-road capable, light military utility vehicles. Well over 600,000 were built to a single standardized design, for the United States and the Allied forces in World War II, from 1941 until 1945. This also made it (by its light weight) the world's first mass-produced four-wheel-drive car, built in six-figure numbers. 0:00 Game 1 20:14 Game 2 39:01 Game 3
@@MR-ym3hg Don't disagree with the sentiment, but it also worked this way in COH 2 with stormtrooper's tactical assault and I believe this also applies to Stosstruppen's Shock Assault ability.
Amored cars were in WW1, so the answer to the first military utility vehicle is earlier. Simms Motor Scout (1898) is an example of an early predecessor, but armored cars were already in use by WW1. In fact: Lawrence of Arabia had combats using them.
"What are we doing on bed step-Chaffee?" That said, "tanks" for streaming these games. I think it helps illustrate issues with the balance right now. My personal gripe is the call in DAK L6 tanks (Two at once is too much).
Having both rapid deploy and veterancy be 0cp and on separate trees is quite possibly the most stupid thing in CoH3. Make players choose 1, not have both for free
The discussion about willies was rock solid but I think you should probably go deeper next time. There's more depth to be had with the big willie but the little willie might just surprise you.
Dear AE, would you consider a "why my jokes are funny" -stream for april's fool's day? And note to self: I really need to watch your streams again but it's out of my rhythm since the ML stopped.
yes, do continue to explain the puns, dry british humor was a staple of my youth with shows such as mr bean, allo allo, the mighty boosh and more. aw and the blessed mention of my comment about the pgren problem :^) idk what it is, AT guns feel meh in this game. In COH2 they were a real problem, in COH3 I literally see every AT gun always just being driven circles around. Their first shot is usually good and scares people for ~3 minutes until they realise wait, they only have AT guns, just drive in circles and bully them. Truely I don't know what exactly it is but the rock paper scissors gameplay feels slightly offset. I think in g2, it's that the aa kept packing up repeatedly. well G3 really showed my exact problem with AT guns. damn that insane difference between Jeep and jeep. I guess caosak only used jeeps and ra11 used Jeeps

It's difficult to comprehend the scale of ww2, but statistics like that really hit it home. 600,000 jeeps... mental.
That comment about doing more work for the same pay. I died.
Thanks for the good work in bringing these videos to us all!
well, since you asked:
"Step chaffie! What are you doing!?"
27:48 Pour it on has a speed debuff, so yes it made the riflemen retreat more slowly.
Not having it cancel on retreat feels like hello world level coding

super excited for burgandy monkey, 4 month maintenance cycles

Hype for the 'step chaffee' - Also hype for another Crossroads game!
Oh, am I not the only one who watches COH in 2x speed? I am sure this meta might not be fun to play but was fun to spectate.

Big fan of the history at the end!
I had a yellow Willis. So nice to drive, very strong and efficient, however you have to be careful to drive, looks like a tank lol.

BTW, you have to play up the Swedish - Danish rivalry in the tournament finals between Orangepest and Caosak.
instant top speed from stationary made light vehicles too powerful
Does anyone remember this faction called DAK? Pretty sure there was this faction that liked to spam crusaders, I wonder what happened to them...
Is there a rule to only use Wehrmacht? I would have used DAK counter the Jeep’s and Panzerjeagers counter greyhounds.
exactly, DaK would have eaten those jeeps

When whermacht's "specialized" units barely keep up 😂. good games though, sad my boy caosak lost ;-;

100%! Just head on driving 2 light armoured vehicles straight over a pair of AT guns should not be a winning move.
If you find the Meta boring you can always turn it into a drinking game - every time AE says "jeep" take a drink. (You might regret this)
F
pgrens are just such absolute trash, such an expensive unit that can't do diddly even at mid range.
