I was 13 when Tug McGraw struck out Willie Wilson to bring the first World Series Championship to Philadelphia. 28 years later we did it again, little did I know that 3 months later my Dad would pass away, but I'm so glad that he got to see his Phillies win it all again. Since then my two surviving Brothers have passed as well, this song man 🥲🥲🥲. I guess I really am Dancing On My Own, LETS GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!

My favorite highlight video :) Even though we didn't win, this might be my favorite post-season run. There's something so ridiculously cinematic about the number six seeded team going all the way and being the only team to NOT be swept in the postseason by the Astros. That Harper HR in the bottom of the 8th will go down in history. Absolutely goddamn legendary.
I watched every inning of this series and I still got goosebumps watching. This team, that crowd. There is a bit of magic going on here. Reminds me a lot of that Matt Stairs monster home run in LA. It just felt like this was a team of destiny that year and the same now. Underestimate them at your peril.

I'm a 3rd Generation Philadelphia Sports Fan. Grew up In South Jersey. I live in Tennessee now with my Dad and Brother. My dad saw them win it in 1980, and in 2008. I remember after Harry Kalas died and we went to a Phillies game, He wouldn't buy me a hat that had HK on the side so he took a sharpie marker and wrote HK on the side. I was at game 4 of the NLCS and watched all of the NLCS games in the area since I was visiting at the time. It was one of my most memorable trips back to the area. I got to see family that I haven't seen in so long, including my uncle who was just put into Hospice. All that I know is most of my family is getting up there in age and they won't be around much longer. I'd have to say my dad is my hero, he taught me how to be a man. As Someone who deals with Anxiety and depression, being there at the park for game 4 is exactly what I needed. I didn't care if the tickets were expensive. I worked hard and needed to treat myself. I remember when the birds won the super bowl in 18, My brother and I cried. I want to share that experience again when the Phillies take home the world series. Houston is a tough team to beat but we are the Fightin Phils.
I'm in Cape May year round and rarely get to most games in the Summer so I'm pumped about how this season has unfolded when they were written off well before the allstar break. I was watching the last one in Wildwood. Go Phillies!
Love this team, love this city, and love Phillies baseball!. My label co-founder, Mike, moved here from Texas 15 years ago and became a huge Phillies Phan upon arriving. The last time we hung out was at a game together last season. He sadly passed away a few months ago at the age of 40 but I know that his spirit lives on and he's enjoying the Phillies run with me and all of his friends that are here. This video and song made me cry, beautiful work. I was at the parade in 2008 and know they can do it again this year! GO PHILS!

It's sad that if we had better pitching and better pitching management it might have ended differently. Relying on the same mediocre guys every game will eventually get you burned.
It was literal insanity. I couldn't watch half the time when the Phillies were pitching once their starters went out. Next season, we need more lights out closers and one or two starters. It's too nerve racking to watch them blow leads that they should have never lost. Especially with this kind of offense. Can't give teams runs in the playoffs. Hoping they can clean a lot of the little mistakes up with The Astros because we can't have cheaters as champions again.
The only part I hated about the end of the broadcast was the shots of sad Padres. I sure wish this was the matchup in the World Series, rather than the Astros!

It’s gonna be one hell of a series against the Astros, but I just feel it…destiny is taking over. Last time I had this feeling was 2008. Split in Houston then back to Philly for that home field! I said it to my fishing buddy the other day when it was 1-1 and coming home… Phil’s win game 3 and they are sweeping them here. I was a partial season ticket holder from 08-12 and have been to countless regular season games and some of the best playoff games the Phillies have had. I’ve also been to the eastern conference finals for the sixers when they won to go to the nba finals, nfc championship in 2002 and many other eagle playoff games, also traveled to Jacksonville for the super bowl, flyers playoffs… so many huge games, but nothing is like the atmosphere in citizens bank park for Phillies playoffs. Was at game 4 of World Series 08, 09 nlcs game 5 to advance to the World Series, Halladays no hitter in his first ever playoff game, and a bunch of other playoff games from 07-11. I know none of that shit matters, but I truly believe thus team is destined this year and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this way. Just glad this time around I get to watch it with my two sons who are 8 and 12. Even though the Phillies list in 93… I remember that so well as a 13 year old, so I hope my kids get the chance to have an even better memory and outcome. My youngest was in bed for the super bowl and my oldest was only 8, so he remembers it, but not like he would remember this. Anyway sorry for the long rant that nobody gives a shit about…I just got a bit emotional watching this and reflecting on my memories over the last 42 years and I just hope we can add another epic one to the bank

I've NEVER had more fun watching baseball than this year watching this team. I obviously loved the 08 team, but damn these guys are absolutely incredible to watch! They have to bring this home, but if they don't, they've given me a month of pure joy and I can't thank them enough for that.

The 1980 NLCS v Astros (five games, four in extra innings) was for fans of 'a certain age' like myself the greatest LCS ever. Red Sox fans would understandably say their 2004 ALCS win over Yankees was the best. But THESE TWO games of THIS 2022 NCLS --- this is just as good as '80. There's a 'magic' at CBP we saw vs Braves and Padres. And champagne baths with team singing which no one did forty years ago. This team is feeling it. A good many sports talking heads don't see it and are underestimating them. Let's go today boys, "play ball."

Absolutely! As much as I wanted them to win they just fizzled out offensively. Can't win if all their big bats can't hit over 200 in the World Series.

I went to School in Boston when they got Schilling. This season feels like the 2004 Redsox season. Totally magical.
The 1980 NLCS v Astros (five games, four in extra innings) was for fans of 'a certain age' like myself the greatest LCS ever. Red Sox fans would understandably say their 2004 ALCS win over Yankees was the best.
But THESE TWO games of THIS 2022 NCLS --- this is just as good as '80. There's a 'magic' at CBP we saw vs Braves and Padres. And champagne baths with team singing which no one did forty years ago. This team is feeling it. A good many sports talking heads don't see it and are underestimating them. Let's go today boys, "play ball."
