That shield of U.S. Agent is like a wet paper bag in a hurricane mixed with a tornado and a volcano 🌋 eruption!! This means it's of absolutely no use for U.S. Agent, or anyone for that matter!! So unless Wakanda offered up some Vibrainium for another shield, which I doubt, does that mean it's also possible that he will have an Adamantium shield??? And also one thing I don't think you or anyone else explored yet, is the fact that in Avengers Endgame Caps shield was destroyed, and it was whole again when Cap returned all the Infinity Stones. Did Wakanda provide some kind of secret stash for Captain America's Shield?? Did Wakanda make it?? Or did the U.S. aquire some Vibrainium????
Looks like this film might really be good. I hope this film also leads to the creation of the masters of evil. Zemo needs to be given more spotlight. They did him dirty in the falcon and winter soldier.
He plays a big role in both Teams We could a had an origin story where his mask gets grafted to his face in a horrible accident but no they wanna make it complicated

The suit being nanotech and coming out of the symbol makes me think the suit is a containment system to help him control his powers, a la Superman Blue and Superman Red. Otherwise Sentry doesn’t *need* a hi-tech suit.

But even that is iffy if we are talking about the comic version of Sentry, as he is basically a corpse possessed by cosmic entity. (Specifically, the Bibilical Angel of Death). Even Thor wielding both the Odin Force and with full access to both the Phoenix Force and the powers of an Elder God (Gaea), would have issues with trying to defeat a Sentry fully taken over by the Void. The Sentry/Void is only a couple of steps below the One Above All in marvel comics.

The team will abandon their original task/mission/etc once they discover something that proves them wrong or changes their mind. They’ll adopt the “Thunderbolts” team name independently and with an annoying enthusiasm from Alexei Shostakov. He loves family and considers this team his new family. This could all be total rumor though. But if that’s how it turns out, it would make sense… esp with the asterisk. The team are a federal-founded/funded, co-opted, and exploited version of the Avengers (even using the name) but rebel and go under a new name. Also, this would explain the various costume designs. Superhero-spoitation is supposedly a subtle theme in the film.

In a fight between the Banner Hulk, the Sentry should also win because he generates an aura that literally makes the Hulk sleepy. The exception to this is if the Banner Hulk enters or is already in the Worldbreaker form, in that case there will be a really tough fight but eventually Banner Hulk would win. Do note that at the end of World War Hulk, despite the Sentry intervening, the only way Worldbreaker Hulk was defeated was because he gave up after the revelation that the person that caused Caeria to die was Miek. Worldbreaker Hulk fought the Sentry to a standstill and then started to gain ground. When Hulk says he is the strongest there is, he is not kidding.

I hope Sam’s retort to “You’re not Steve Rogers” becomes “I don’t need to be”. I feel like that was US Agents mistake - that he was trying to be something he wasn’t. I also wonder if there will be a split at the end of Thunderbolts* - like someone else stated, there’s a lot of super soldiers here. Could there be a heroic sacrifice (red guardian) and a split to new avengers (Bucky, Yelena) and dark avengers (US Agent, Taskmaster?) ?

Hi! I don't think them fighting each other is a callback to the earlier movies. I agree that it is, however, in the same beat, because realistic in-group squabble is natural. And much of the existing narratives in the decades long history of superheroes deals with one super fighting another super person. I know the recent movies hit a different note. The fear for disappointment is still there. But, there is something about all this though that screams ever silently, and is different. I hope this isn't a low point Marvel project. Has it been given an age rating? With the base team Bucky and US Agent alone, the brutality we can imagine is great. With Red Guardian, Yelena, Ghost, and Sentry(!) (so we get the Void?), the violence is endless! Oh, imagine if X-Force Deadpool was in it haha

Ikaris is basically a biological robot, and Sentry is the corpse of a drug addict possessed by the Biblical Angel of Death. (and no, I am not kidding, Loki was the first one to figure it out and it freaked him out so much that he put in place a plan that included his own death, just so he could warn the heroes of the Marvel Universe, it also set up Loki's rebirth and redemption arc).

If we're doing dark avengers, then they absolutely have to do Siege, Sentry going off and ripping someone (I don't think we're getting Ares soon) in half and having him wreck Asgard is a must.

The RDJ being Doom makes sense, Stark told Cap if you mess with time it tends to mess back. Then the way time travel was explained, it creates a new timeline, so the old timeline where the snap wasnt undone still exists. The Ancient One questions if she made a mistake choosing Strange, so instead picks Stark, then there you have it, technology and magic, the tech and the sorcerer supreme in the same person. Stark said how he wanted to place a suit of armor around the world, Doom bots. Even Cap said he wasn’t sure what he’d do if the mission of time heist failed, so if it didn’t work he’d be more likely to side with Stark, Dr Doom, making the original timeline the ultimate universe in the MCU. Thor would still be messed up seeing him self as a failure. Then they are setting up the incursion so the new timeline would still be in play, setting up Clea and Palmer and Strange love triangle. Then the Dr Doom who will be the Dr Doom going forward as RDJ probably won’t be the Dr Doom going forward.
They are basically Marvel's suicide squad. Much more believable stories. The Deadpool/ Thunderbolts crossover was hilarious because he roped in Taskmaster trying to extort like a hundred million dollars from Normam Osborne. It was a hilarious run, and the follow up of Deadpool fighting Bullseye. One of the best comic stories in the past few decades.

The super soldier serum was a way for him to explain his powers, ie something had to make him special and it wasnt just his natural power. Then the Void was a thought he had where if he is this powerful then there must be something just as strong and bad. Self manifesting.

There was a Trial of Captain America storyline in the comics where Bucky (Captain America at the time) was prosecuted by the state after his identity was uncovered. America wasn’t too happy that a formerly brainwashed assassin for Russia was Cap so they prosecuted him for his Winter Soldier crimes. I don’t know if any of this will be relevant/used in the MCU but it’s the only reason I have so far that Bucky would be in court for a scene. Think if Sam Wilson gets called on by the government to work together, but Bucky doesn’t get the same treatment due to his past being a source of distrust- hence Val being able to use it to her advantage.
They also seem to be assembling a Young Avengers team. Right now, we have Peter Parker (Spidey), Kate (Hawkeye), Cassie (Stature), RiRi Williams (Ironheart), and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel). That's 5. They could bring in Harley Keener as Rescue. Or maybe they find a way to bring in Franklin Richards. Possibly, there is an effort to bring in Wanda's twins somehow. Those seem to be the likely and possible Young Avengers.
Taskmaster & Yelena know each other, so I wonder if they leave each other alone during the meet & fight scene, or even help each other. Then again only Ghost has been shown with a bow, so Taskmaster might not be in this scene.

Theory/rumors about Sentry: The MCU's Sentry creation might've been when he drank the Golden Sentry Serum (upgraded Super Soldier Serum), it might've contained the blood from Ikaris of the Eternals as some sort of S.H.I.E.L.D. operation were looking for more powers to upgrade their Super Soldier Serum by stealing the blood of any Eternals member or the energy from the Tesseract that was given to Carol Danvers from Captain Marvel. The Sentry's powers might've gone corrupted & he disappeared after getting his powers only to find out that he was locked in the Vault likely by both Val & Thunderbolt Ross to test his powers & use his blood to upgrade Adamantium from Tiamut Island from Captain America: Brave New World.
Skulls were also removed from the Chinese version of fortnite so they could release the game there, They were often replaced with just Circles, Is a superstition thing So they won't risk getting told no to releasing in China
as Avengers Tower turning into New Avengers Tower is also a step for a new generation of Avengers to come like Ms Marvel, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi and more in Doomsday
Ngl, the plot of this trailer kinda reminds me of the pilot episode of Leverage lol - bad guy hires a group of criminals for a mission, then after it's done they bring them all together to try to kill them, but they survive & form a team.
I've seen so much discussion about The Sentry... but little mention of The Void. Yeah, The Sentry is OP. But The Void is the same person, without the limits of a moral stance.
Should have had Bob just look down and create his suit in front of the rest of them, using his molecular manipulation powers, once he figures out he has them. Would have been a cool double-take scene.

*Yelena Belova - awesome character, though she is 'a', she is also 'the' next Black Widow *Winter Soldier - very cool character, should'a been the next Captain America *Ghost - cool character, be interesting to see what changes have been made since Ant Man 2. *Red Guardian - cool character. I like David Harbour in this role, he's pretty funny *Task Master - jury is still out, though the mask seems like a mild improvement. I like Olga Kurylenko US Agent - not the least bit interested in this guy. If he dies, meh... just shedding some dead weight.

Do note that at the end of World War Hulk, despite the Sentry intervening, the only way Worldbreaker Hulk was defeated was because he gave up after the revelation that the person that caused Caeria to die was Miek. Hi! I don't think them fighting each other is a callback to the earlier movies. I agree that it is, however, in the same beat, because realistic in-group squabble is natural. And much of the existing narratives in the decades long history of superheroes deals with one super fighting another super person.
I know the recent movies hit a different note. The fear for disappointment is still there. But, there is something about all this though that screams ever silently, and is different. I hope this isn't a low point Marvel project.

The RDJ being Doom makes sense, Stark told Cap if you mess with time it tends to mess back. Then the way time travel was explained, it creates a new timeline, so the old timeline where the snap wasnt undone still exists. The Ancient One questions if she made a mistake choosing Strange, so instead picks Stark, then there you have it, technology and magic, the tech and the sorcerer supreme in the same person. Stark said how he wanted to place a suit of armor around the world, Doom bots. Even Cap said he wasn’t sure what he’d do if the mission of time heist failed, so if it didn’t work he’d be more likely to side with Stark, Dr Doom, making the original timeline the ultimate universe in the MCU. Thor would still be messed up seeing him self as a failure. Then they are setting up the incursion so the new timeline would still be in play, setting up Clea and Palmer and Strange love triangle. Then the Dr Doom who will be the Dr Doom going forward as RDJ probably won’t be the Dr Doom going forward.
Stark Doom will be a variant from a world that got erased from a incursion.

There was a Trial of Captain America storyline in the comics where Bucky (Captain America at the time) was prosecuted by the state after his identity was uncovered. America wasn’t too happy that a formerly brainwashed assassin for Russia was Cap so they prosecuted him for his Winter Soldier crimes. I don’t know if any of this will be relevant/used in the MCU but it’s the only reason I have so far that Bucky would be in court for a scene. Think if Sam Wilson gets called on by the government to work together, but Bucky doesn’t get the same treatment due to his past being a source of distrust- hence Val being able to use it to her advantage.

They could bring in Harley Keener as Rescue. Or maybe they find a way to bring in Franklin Richards. Possibly, there is an effort to bring in Wanda's twins somehow. Those seem to be the likely and possible Young Avengers.
Taskmaster & Yelena know each other, so I wonder if they leave each other alone during the meet & fight scene, or even help each other. Then again only Ghost has been shown with a bow, so Taskmaster might not be in this scene.

Theory/rumors about Sentry: The MCU's Sentry creation might've been when he drank the Golden Sentry Serum (upgraded Super Soldier Serum), it might've contained the blood from Ikaris of the Eternals as some sort of S.H.I.E.L.D. operation were looking for more powers to upgrade their Super Soldier Serum by stealing the blood of any Eternals member or the energy from the Tesseract that was given to Carol Danvers from Captain Marvel. The Sentry's powers might've gone corrupted & he disappeared after getting his powers only to find out that he was locked in the Vault likely by both Val & Thunderbolt Ross to test his powers & use his blood to upgrade Adamantium from Tiamut Island from Captain America: Brave New World.

*Winter Soldier - very cool character, should'a been the next Captain America
*Ghost - cool character, be interesting to see what changes have been made since Ant Man 2.
*Red Guardian - cool character. I like David Harbour in this role, he's pretty funny
*Task Master - jury is still out, though the mask seems like a mild improvement. I like Olga Kurylenko
US Agent - not the least bit interested in this guy. If he dies, meh... just shedding some dead weight.
