    Can you make a video on how to program the remote to open up the roller door with both the B810 Wireless receiver and the WE800V2 kit?

    Hi, we have a Bosch 3000 but with a 7" touch screen panel, are these instructions for adding an additional pin still relevant to the touchscreen? thanks

    Hi, the panic alarm supposedly on this unit is the * and # keys. I havent been game to test it as is says to silence the alarm contact your installer? Surely you can turn off by pressing again? Thankyou

      Hi Brian, the panic alarm can be turned off in the same way as disarming your system, you will need to enter a valid pincode.

    I have a solution 880 alarm control panel. If I got a replacement solution 3000 keypad, would it be compatible?

    • @accessalarms
      @accessalarms  9 месяцев назад

      Hi @lukewolfgames, The 3000 system uses a different data bus to the 880 and ultima series. Generally updating to the 2000 or 3000 control panels isn't a huge cost especially compared to changing the keypad.
      This is the keypad to match your controller.

    Can you tell me please...when I am using the remote and want to arm in stay mode ...do I press the stay mode button followed by the arm button? Or is the stay button arming it on its own.

    • @accessalarms
      @accessalarms  8 месяцев назад

      Hi, That is a programmable feature that is setup by your installer. The stay button should be the trapazoid button on the remote. However, it can be turned on/off in the programming.

    hi thanks for this, my system has the zone 8 flashing super fast all the time with the fault triangle. I cant get rid of them and every 15mins the entire system beeps 1 long beep. and then I have to press away and it stops but then it beeps again in 15 mins or so. Its a nightmare. zone 8 written on the inside lid in handwriting as 'Tamper'... Im guessing thats the little tamper steel piece on the steel box when I take the lid off. Ive tried to play with that and the whole alarm goes off. I have set the date following your instructions yet Fault code when hooding down 5 for 2 seconds shows zone 2 and 8... the time and date and the tamper... this has been going on for months and im ready to smash the thing? How can I solve this? Rip it off the wall?

    • @accessalarms
      @accessalarms  2 года назад +2

      Hi, the Solution 862 is an earlier model, and has a different fault listing. The fault indicated on "2" is still the date and time, but the fault on "8" is a communication fail, not a tamper. We would recommend contacting a technician to have a look at your system. You can power down your system in the meantime, this requires unplugging the panel and disconnecting the battery.

      @@accessalarms thanks for the prompt reply. So you are thinking if I unplug the power supply from the powerpoint... and take off the battery terminals.. that unit will power down? To try to stop the insesant beep I did unplug the power cord and no battery was connected but the lights remain on the unit and it still beeps? Does that mean it's hard wired somehow? I have download the manual for the Solution 862 and yes the manual said zone 8 is 'communication' ...however, my guess is the installer of the system (previous owners of the home) in ball point pen have written the zones on the inside flap of the door lid - zones 1234 & 8... and zone#1 entry zone#2 kitchen etc and zone#8 states "Tamper" - so it's logical to assume he has somehow allocated zone#8 to 'tampering'? if not why would he write that on the information flap? That said, I dearly would love to just stop it beeping and if that means turning the unit off completely as we dont use it anyway I would do that? Thanks for any further help you can provide. cheers

      And whilst I appreciate I can call a 'technician' im am trying to do my best not to find myself with a bill of at least $200 for a service call. Because that's pretty much the minimum it will cost for anyone to visit the home and figures out how to solve the never ending been.

      perhaps I don't understand what's required to 'unplug the panel'... would you mind telling me what's required to do that? Clearly I know where the 240V socket power adapter is, but do you mean unplug the keypad panel, do I remove that and unplug something behind that? I also can unplug the battery I just replaced inside the steel box

    How do I change the alarm timer, my alarm goes off as soon as I open the door once it’s armed I want to delay it about 20seconds

      Hi this normally means a detector in your entry path is set to instant or handover. It is more likely the zones are programmed incorrectly. This is something you should pass back to your installer or you can attempt it yourself with the installer guide at your own peril :).

    Very helpful and informative video, but what a confusing and complicated system. Could be a lot more using friendly.
