Thanks alot, that was super helpful. Just a question on how can I change the user code in the app. ... It is suddenly doesn't work we are hundred present sure that the right code but we keep getting a message with unable to connect.

Would you have any idea why the app to our Iphone just stops working at least twice a year?
To fix it we have to disconnect the power & the battery from the board. Wait about 10 minutes. Then first connect power to unit, then connect battery. Close it all back up and go to panel and have the whole process of problem solving by pressing (5 to get two beeps) to indicate what number comes up and problem solve from there. Then put in code6#datetime# to get it going again. Just don't understand why it drops out. It's good to have the notifications, especially when away from home.

I have couple of questions How to add a relay output module for garage or something. And second question is is there a way to add wireless rid switch to get the feedback that the door is closed or left opened. Unfortunately I am stuck with 2000 so there is not much I can do running cable. Or is there a way to add more inputs on main unit if I have to use wired sensors.

Is there anyway to name the zones within the app itself? I have named them within the touchpad, but the individual names have not come across to the app, so when one gets tripped I always forget which zone is which.
Also, what is the difference between stay 1 and stay 2? On the touchpad we only have “arm away” and “arm stay”.

Hi steve, why the app lost the connection to the panel every time when the phone screen is off? I mean every time i use the app I have to reconnect the panel by input user code.
Also when i enter installer mode, sometime zone 15 lit up in keypad, sometime no, what is the reason? I have zone 15 lit up when i enter the installer mode, also, when i try to default reset solution 3000 panel by using same method in your video, the siren start, and after the default the sirens continually go off(I mean, siren stop working, even in test mode), what's the reason?

It is not possible, but you can use on board relay using app
Hi, have this similar setup but on occasion the app wont connect to the alarm. A tech reset it once and worked for awhile then recently I cant connect again. Think he mentioned something about restarting the IP module. Can you do this from the control panel or do you need to open the panel and disconnect/reconnect power to module? Cheers

Yes, you disconnect the power cable to the ip module. It comes off the main board so disconnect on the ip module. wait a few seconds then reconnect power. This will reboot the module as such and reconnect to your router.

Hi Graham,If you have a look at the ethernet module you'll see there is a sticker on the big square chip .The sticker has the serial number of the board. It is a 22 character string and will look something like this: TNC7P-VC4GV-EDHKP-U111A-F5 You'll need to enter it manually when you register the panel with the app. Hope that makes sense.
