Does anyone know why my Bosch rps app would not be able to connect on my phone after I had a firewall replaced? My IT company opened up all ports on the firewall and it still does not work. I had my security company out as well and they basically told me there is nothing they can do and everything is out of date. We had the system installed about 8 years ago. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi mate. Just this past week we stopped getting alerts / notifications on the rsc+ app. And we are unable to connect to the panel using our home wifi but works perfectly with mobile data. Any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it? Thank you.

Do you still need to put e.o.l resistors in thr panel as these wireless pirs have no physical wire connectivity.?

Hi Steve, We returned from our holiday. My alarm was on. We entered the house and tried to deactivate the alarm with our code as always. Alarm went off anyway. Tried code a few times with no luck. I had to open and then cut the wire inside the siren box. 2 and 3 are still flashing on my control board. How do I fix this? Any idea will help. Thank you. Mez

hi Steve I have recently changed battery and no 1 sensor beeps every time it detect object or we walk around but won't beep with other sensors. and all 5 sensors on keypad blinks. can you suggest what could be the solution for this ? regard

Great videos Steve and really well explained. If i have bosch pir that does not have the rfid code on the side or under the pcb but it does have an internal sticker saying : RF940E REF:F01U249034-01 Mat/N F01U247636 V1.01 does that tell you the rfid?

Hi Steve, I recently replaced my fried board of solution 880 with a replacement one. I have tested it working with the battery but I could not figure out how to connect the adaptor to the connector as my old cable colours were yellow/green, yellow & yellow. The new adaptor that came with the board has yellow/green, red & white. I can't attach the photo here to the comment but assuming you understand what I am asking for. I do not want to connect the wrong cable and kill the board. Any chance you can help & guide me on which cable goes where? I

Fantastic video's! Glad we found your site! Would you have any idea why the app to our Iphone just stops working at least twice a year? To fix it we have to disconnect the power & the battery from the board. Wait about 10 minutes. Then first connect power to unit, then connect battery. Close it all back up and go to panel and have the whole process of problem solving by pressing (5 to get two beeps) to indicate what number comes up and problem solve from there. Then put in code6#datetime# to get it going again. Just don't understand why it drops out. It's good to have the notifications, especially when away from home.

Excellent video Steve. I'd recommend if you change the title of this video and remove "Reset" as the first word then people will be able to find this video easily. Perhaps call it "Bosch Security System 2000/3000 programming and resetting". Just a suggestion as it took some of us quite a bit of time to come across this amazing training video.

Hi Steve, this is great that you made this video. This is very helpful. I recently relocated my keypad where I have to pass two sensors to disarm my alarm. How to delay two sensors? I noticed in your video that you did not select which sensor to delay. How system knows which sensor to delay by going through 466 or 467?

Hi, great video explanation, I have couple of questions How to add a relay output module for garage or something. And second question is is there a way to add wireless rid switch to get the feedback that the door is closed or left opened. Unfortunately I am stuck with 2000 so there is not much I can do running cable. Or is there a way to add more inputs on main unit if I have to use wired sensors.

Hi, have this similar setup but on occasion the app wont connect to the alarm. A tech reset it once and worked for awhile then recently I cant connect again. Think he mentioned something about restarting the IP module. Can you do this from the control panel or do you need to open the panel and disconnect/reconnect power to module? Cheers

Steve you are a genius. This has made things so easy to reset the system, and then reprogram users etc. I had a couple of (quirky) errors on my system, worked around them. Thank you for your dedication and time in sharing this, which has saved me a lot of money. 😄😄

Hi Steve, I have a Bosch Solution 6000 system and had to replace the battery of the wireless switch to my front door. Since then It does not seem to work and gives an open zone fault signal. Could you please advise how I could clear the fault. Thanks. Regards, Kelvin

Do you install the radion receiver where the alarm panel is or can I install it in the garage?

Outstanding videos, my old 488 had a fault I could not trace so a did full default reset but then all the programming was lost, this video helped me reprogram it as it is essentially the same and the RFID was on the back of the PIR. Living remotely, the cost of having an alarm tech come out would have been horrendous, so thank you very much :)

My company wanted close to 1500 to replace and reprogram my home alarm. This was almost 2 years ago! I literally studied the entire bosch solutions 6000 manual and did it all myself. I wish your video was available at the time because you explained it all really well! Good on you!!!
