Is there a way to do this with other people's chat? for example, people that have the !fish game for viewers, or streams that have Tangia dungeon? I mainly want it for Tangia dungeon, so that when I'm in a stream that has it, I can automatically do !join so I won't miss any of them. Thanks!
So when she's logged into her streamelements dashboard, in the upper right on her logo she'll need to click her name and then click "channel settings" on that menu. Then on the next screen under her channel she'll need to select a level and click "Generate invite link" and she can send that to you for you to be invited as a manager for her dashboard. There are three levels and I belive even the lowest level "bot supervisor" would be all you need to be able to manage the chat commands in the dashboard.
Unfortunately I have not found where they have implemented this *for sure*. I did find this thread here that is pretty old but has a final comment from a year ago with supposed commands to do that. I just tested them myself but they didn't work for me. streamelements.helprace.com/i221-add-alias-using-chat-command
This was really helpful , the only thing i am struggling with is getting my emotes to do it. stream elements is subbed and i copied the emote name into stream elements but it is not responding :(
@@itsmisstaco OH! It looks like something is broken with this on Twitch now. I tried again with streamelements and even switched to fossabot but neither one of them detect affiliate emotes now. Only global emotes.
You’ll configure the triggers and responses the same way, but use the text shorthand for whatever emote like :kappa for example. Note that for the bot to use sub only emotes, you’ll have to gift a sub to the bot.
Ok, in your streamelements dashboard when you first login, on the right hand side click the “part channel” button for the bot. Then click the button to make it rejoin the channel and try again.
This was a succinct and descriptive video. Thank you! - Marzeliax
thank youuuuu, just what i was looking for
Perfectly what I was looking for! Nice

I don't stream, but I'm a mod for a streamer and she would like to have this command feature in her chat! Can a mod do this for a streamer?

Is there a way to use chat command to add a keyword and not using the website, if do, do you have an example?

Are you including the ":" in front of the emote name?
@@StreamTechTV yes i tried that as well, its my affiliate emotes does that change anything?
@@itsmisstaco So are you trying to use the affiliate emote as a *trigger*, in the response? Or both?
@@StreamTechTV yes both , like if someone used one of my emotes I want it to respond with the same emote

How do you do this with emotes? Sometimes on streams I see someone KEKW or something in chat and the Streamelements bot responds with the same emote

i tried this and it doesnt work, i followed the video step by step but it doesnt work.

Ok thanks
When I did it it didn’t show the user name it showed the actual variable please help
Either that’s the wrong variable or a typo. Can you paste the command here?
@@StreamTechTV $user example it should say the user but it showed the whole text like $user example
