Had the pleasure of sitting in the 3d row of his last tour and laughing my butt off. He is such a professional. Hard worker, respectful and hilarious, it was a nice side of him. So real. Thanks Ed for bringing Sebastian on to the show 🥰
I would rather have had a father that missed out on the moments in life, because he was doing for himself and his family. Rather than a man pretending to be a father running around doing for himself, not adequately providing, wreaking havoc and creating chaos. Huge difference.
I am more like Sebastian than I thought. I'm an extrovert and introvert. When I'm around people I'm social but I love just being at home. It is so good to hear who he is behind the mike. Thank you 🙏
Great interview Ed these emotions drive our success and power our lives to be better! Blessings to you and you amazing team for putting this life changing content out so wonderfully!
Best part of this entire podcast, which was great btw, was when you riffed back and forth about connection and energy. Thank you for sharing outloud the things we all think inside!
Love this episode but I believe parenting is all having a balance. Working but also taking time teaching ur kids about life. We need to leave behind a legacy for them.
Good insight into parenting from Sabatian… love analogy Ed being a provider… working hard providing for his family…. having safe home and means to pay for kids college etc… beautiful! Mom being in home-art… cool! Cool!
Great to see this side of you Ed! Thanks for being vulnerable and showing us that real life raw side of you! Enjoyed it much and brought a new level of confidence
Thank you both for being so vulnerable on the reality of “making it”, achieving your dream. The pressure of success and outperforming yourself. In the past, I have fallen for the anxiety and multitude of fears. I thought this was all in my head and it only happened to me. It gives me so much freedom to know it’s normal. I’m trying to do it differently this time, trying to live from a position of love, joy, and peace on the inside.
I really enjoyed this interview! Nowhere near this level but I feel exactly the same way prior to getting on stage, being in the zone on stage then feeling so insecure immediately afterwards... AND asking my fiance right after if everything sounded ok. 😂 GREAT interview and reminded me that we are all regular people that are capable of anything! A million thanks!
Absolutely loved the deep dive into the balance between success and family life. For entrepreneurs, remember that integrating short, focused bursts of work with quality family time can lead to both a successful business and a happy home life. It's all about structuring your day with intentionality and boundaries.
Enjoy the discussion. Always keeping things in real perspective! Scared financially !!! There are so many with those feelings. You guys are so blessed. Family security is #1
I listened for the second time - It hit me when you both started talking about "the end" and maintaining relevance. I then asked myself, if we're always worried about "the end" or the "then what, now what" do we miss the beginning or the middle? Have to build, have to acknowledge fear and imposter syndrome, but we always have to jump in, scream WOO HOO, and enjoy the journey! ❤
I am glad that both of you really think like that. That you used to do things on your own and now,you aren't comfortable when you pay someone else to do it for you. Keep being like that, please ❤
Loved this episode Ed…really cool to see/hear what really goes on in the mind of such a successful person. Sebastian is the goat…The last comedian that had both my wife and I literally crying laughing. Can’t wait to go see him on tour. Thank you as always brother👊
I really enjoyed the discussion about what’s next in our age-enjoy life or keep striving for more. Loosing momentum is such a concern but I love the comment about can’t make an big entrance if you never take time away.
Yes that comment about making an entrance really hit me as well. You can't make an entrance if you never leave the room.. it's what I always say to myself, I'm in my head too much!
You have to be comfortable with the legacy you created. It's OK to be what you are and love what you did. When you're at a point where you have the success, enjoy it!!
I have the same issue of releasing control. My savior is realizing I have trust issues and too high of expectations. I found release when I trusted more and not set such high expectations for myself.
Love your content Ed. The podcast is a must-listen for me. All of the advertisements are a distraction and I'm curious why you began inserting them into your interviews?
YAY Sebastian, my fave comedian! Check out his funny podcast with the hilarious Pete Correale, "The Pete and Sebastian Show", drops every Tuesday at noon EST! 👍 www.youtube.com/@sebastiancomedy
I laugh at the most inappropriate places too and I did that at a corporate meeting once and it was not good, but sometimes people say the craziest things.
Ed you made me think of the story of Elijah when you talking about your speaking. ...high high, the low after it that bends usto be ready to grow again
I'm still on the fence about the things I sacrificed in income to be there for my kids. I was the only parent for 19 years of their lives. Key formative years. They saw me work 5 jobs round the clock to make sure they were in sports and had what they needed and had me for anything they needed. But the inability to take care of them and my parents at the same time right now... it just doesn't exist. In retrospect, those kids really really needed me, specficially, to get through what we got through. I have to trust that the money will come at this phase of life when I don't have to sacrifice as much. But I'd definitely rather be in Ed's position right now for that... at this age.
I often think that my family would just carry on if I was gone except for my son and daughter, grandkids and a friend or two. Just saying,! #loveyourfamily #yimeisshort
Also you don't have to relevant to everyone, give room and support the younger generation coming up. That is the strength of someone that has being doing it for so long, evolve from a student to an expert to a teacher.
Yeah, he definitely favours his father, but he is very close with his mother. She often calls him to criticize some of the things he says on his podcast because she doesn't want him to look bad. She watches all of his stuff.

I just had that feeling at a gathering..is it me..why don’t I feel a connection with this person or that person. Thank you for hitting on this.
Best part of this entire podcast, which was great btw, was when you riffed back and forth about connection and energy. Thank you for sharing outloud the things we all think inside!
This was great! Real, authentic and special 🎉❤🎉
Love this episode but I believe parenting is all having a balance. Working but also taking time teaching ur kids about life. We need to leave behind a legacy for them.
I agree, at the end of the day balance is huge when it comes to success!
Thank you for another impacting conversation!!
Glad to hear this, thank you!
Oh boy, I’m excited for this one! Sebatian is a big idol of mine.
So happy to have him on the show!

Appreciate it!
I really enjoyed the discussion about what’s next in our age-enjoy life or keep striving for more. Loosing momentum is such a concern but I love the comment about can’t make an big entrance if you never take time away.
It’s important to find what works for you while also finding the balance!
Yes that comment about making an entrance really hit me as well. You can't make an entrance if you never leave the room.. it's what I always say to myself, I'm in my head too much!
This was huge for me thanks Ed and Sebastian

Jay Z line correction… “I’m not a businessman, I’m a “Business” Man. So let me handle my business. Damn.”
Why doesn't he ever speak about his MOTHER... it's always about his Dad!
I know his parents are divorced but we dont know or see Mom hardly at all! 😢
Yeah, he definitely favours his father, but he is very close with his mother. She often calls him to criticize some of the things he says on his podcast because she doesn't want him to look bad. She watches all of his stuff.
no imposter syndrome has power over you.

Almost seems this podcast is opposite of the norm from Ed mylett. Do this, think this, etc... this one is I don't and more real what "we" feel daily
