Of all the structures damaged on FMB this is the one that should have been flattened and swept away.

I completely agree. does nothing for the island but add congestion and pollution. Having it sit at the foot of the bridge is ridiculous

It’s an insult to our island that lacked infrastructure and the heavy traffic as it was prior to Ian. Wondering how this got approved in the first place. It’s like the entire island will be dedicated to this monstrosity traffic and party goers while their long time residents have lost their home and most cannot rebuilt up to code ! Shame on Zoning and planning for allowing this while the true loving longtime residents have lost everything and cannot rebuild as it was and instead the codes are so strict that they are losing their properties! Ian, the city government and Margaritaville have certainly destroyed this beautiful island and most importantly many families! Change codes to protect the residents not Big Billion dollar investors !

It's still smaller than Pink Shell. It's going to be good for the island, just watch.

@@CaribbeanCastaways - Nonsense, it would be difficult to come up with anything more monstrous than this huge eyesore. This kind of attitude is why so much of Florida has been overrun by ridiculously uncontrolled growth.
