    I was about to invest in this mic because mine stopped working...or so I thought. I got to the part where you do the USB gain test and it started popping and freaking out. That's exactly what my mic has been doing. I dropped the input to just under 50% and guess what. It's stopped doing it! I'm soooo happy. I didn't really have the budget to buy a new mic right now, and now I don't have to. I cant wait. Thank you so much. Liked & Subscribed!

    Facts I used to do product reviews and got products sent to me for review at no charge and people used to run their mouths all the time about getting “Free” products which all the hours I put in and the hard work it didn’t even MATCH the price of the product. Some people are just not smart bro. Good review so far tho I’m still checking this out been waiting for your review on this, I used to watch one dude but when I had serious questions about equipment-neither him nor the chat would help me out so I really didn’t care to stay watching.
    Honestly I think they Q2U sounded better
    Good review man

    • @AudioHotline
      @AudioHotline  3 года назад +3

      Yeah man, the people that say a review can’t be honest when the product was sent for “free” definitely don’t understand the work that goes into reviews. Quite honestly, if I get sent a product that I don’t like, I am 100% going to tell the truth about it because a part of me is frustrated that I did all this work for a mediocre/bad product and I WANT to share my opinion about it. Most people are great about it and they understand, but those ones that don’t understand... are frustrating to deal with 😂
      I totally get your feeling on the Q2U. In a lot of cases I do feel like I would recommend it over the Q9U. I gave the Q2U an A or A+ and this I gave a C+ and that is definitely due to the price to performance ratio. The Q2U is awesome. When listening to them back and forth I do feel like the Q9U handles air a little bit better and the low end feels a bit more controlled... but $60-$70 vs $200. It is hard to justify the extra money when the Q2U is so solid.

    • @ProvenSawlid
      @ProvenSawlid 3 года назад

      @@AudioHotline Completely agree man and that’s the thing is just being honest and of-course there’s always a way to say things without sounding to harsh either but if a microphone/ product was sent to you, you can’t say it was good just because the company sent it lol. Honesty is always key because then people will go out and buy that product based off of your review and then get mad at you like “YOO, what the heck man”
      That’s why I like your channel bro and what you do because you keep it 💯 always. I watched your review on the Q2U actually
      I bought it after seeing your review and I’m really happy with it bro. I got the SE Electrics Dynamite 🧨 to go with it and it’s amazing man.
      But yea it’s all about just being real with the people and the companies need to know these things so they know what they can do for the next to improve it or make it better. But I see your channel growing and you deserve it man, cute cats too I got 7 myself but I love them like they are my own kids lol. Respect ✊🏼 bro I hope you keep growing man

      @@ProvenSawlid thanks for the kind words man! I am glad I could help you find a product that works for you and that you enjoy, that’s awesome!
      7 cats?!? That is my dream! My wife and I have talked about getting more, we definitely want to! We have a cat that is very anti new cats 😂 so that has been our main struggle with getting a new one. When my wife and I moved in together four years ago I have two cats and she has one, and my cat still refuses to get a long with hers. So, for now, we have 3.

    • @ProvenSawlid
      @ProvenSawlid 3 года назад

      @@AudioHotline Absolutely bro and believe me I know how it is. I didn’t even like cats for the longest time, I did when I was a kid but then I was more of a dog lover then my fiancé kept begging me for a cat lol. So I gave in and got one from this warehouse I was working at. Then he ended up passing away we never knew what was wrong with him. Broke my heart man but we actually found 3 of them from the streets & got them cleaned up, the one walked right up into my arms man like maybe 4 weeks old. But a few of them don’t get along but they also don’t really fight either not bad so that’s a blessing. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Oh real quick I don’t know if you ever heard of Toygers but it’s a breed of cat that was bred in the 80’s and they were made to look like tigers, we actually found one at the park. They’re very rare too. He walked right up to us I really thought he was a baby tiger at first lol.

    • @AudioHotline
      @AudioHotline  Год назад +4

      Hey!! I appreciate the support and thank you for checking out my videos!
      This mic is definitely a good deal for $120... but If you have a low voice, I would worry about this mic being too dark for you. You could always try it and return it if you don't like it (if possible). I know the new FiFine K688 (review coming soon) isn't as dark, and it does sound really good on my friend's lower voice. So that could be a good option, and it is even $40 cheaper than the Q9U, has a similar look, and is USB + XLR.
      If you are good with an XLR mic and an interface the Donner PO-8 and the M-Audio M-Track Solo would come in at $128.99 and that is a SOLID combo.
      FiFine: amzn.to/3SiqaNz
      PO-8: amzn.to/3SEZuWK
      M-Audio Interface: amzn.to/3fp69X1
      Hopefully this helped, let me know if you have any other questions!

      Since a majority of things have switched over to USB-C it is more about convenience. Only needed usb-c to usb-c cables in the future would be amazing! Rather then me, and everyone, having an insane amount of cables to keep track of for different devices. It’s not that those other plugs suck, or aren’t sufficient... it’s just frustrating because like 5 years ago, in the computer world, most companies were like “usb-c is the plug of the future” but since it is a LITTLE more expensive, companies still keep pedaling that cheaper plug. I JUST WANT ONE DAMN CABLE!

      In reality... all that really matters is that I have 4 computers that exclusively have USB-C ports... nothing else. They are MAC and PC computers. The most important plug on any hub, is the one that actually connects to the device... which most of the time now is USB-C. I do think we will get there... it is undeniable that we are headed in that direction. I just want everyone to catch up with the times and get over this whole “let’s make every person have 75 cables they have to take everywhere with them” world that we live in.
