honestly her telling us how she wasn’t really able to work out this morning motivated me to keep going. i am a tennis player and of course i wasn’t able to go play tennis in quarantine. i used to like train 2 hours daily and going back last week i was only able to play 30 min which made me feel so embarrassed but i feel so motivated now and not alone

Hi Remi! Ik that you would most probably not read this but I just wanted to say thank you. A few months ago I got to know that I have PCOS. At first I restricted myself from everything to a point where I became weak as I stopped eating diary and hardly ate anything more then 3 meals. When I ate anything other then healthy, I would puke it out. Now, you have become my inspiration to balance both. I picture myself in your place and try my best to eat healthy but at the same time not district myself. I love the way you share your healthy recipes but at the same time eat donuts and fast food in a small quantity. Also, as you suffer from PCOS too ik what you are doing is right. Quantity management is so hard and I try my best to follow you in a way to stay healthy.
Totally understand you with your workouts and how you use to be vs. where you are today. Before I injured my back at work I would run 4 miles everyday plus working 2 jobs and I was just on the go all the time. Then got hurt & since then I have back flare ups, I can just now run again 3 miles but there’s walking involved too. It’s hard to not be mad at my body feeling like it’s failing me but I’m trying and that’s what I keep trying to focus on. You’ll get back to where you were!

One thing people may not think of as a small business but really is and has a short window are Santa Claus. My dad is a small business who has been a professional Santa for the last 20 years and does it for the pure joy! Every Christmas you can find him at Yale Hospital without fail. This year he is taking a hit financially and mentally. Without anywhere to go and without people hiring Santa has been hard on him. If you can shed light on a small business like his or others like this in general it would be incredible. He is doing zoom calls as Santa and kids and adults seem to be loving it! I know this is a shot in the dark but small businesses that are entertainers like my father need the support too!
I recommend pop a lash! It’s a small business owned by someone who suffered with their mental health, and the cool thing is that they sell lashes in their old pill bottles! Really recommend!
