I really wouldn’t mind sleeping on either. Both great beds from trusted companies and great customer service. I like Winkbeds for offering different firmness options and i like Helix for having beds that are so customizable. Two great choices IMO👍
Of these two, the Helix Midnight interests me a little more. I love the entire concept of the Wink bed’s luxury, and I’ve fangirled it on here many times before. But the slow moving memory foam and support of the midnight intrigue me more than a lot of other online foam configurations.
Both of these beds are wishlist choices for me but the Winkbed is my top choice. Cooler sleep surface, pillowtop, Tencel cover and coil on coil construction. Zoned support for my back issues but softer for my arthritic shoulders and joints. Great review!
While both are great. I think the WinkBed seems more luxurious and better long term, with the varying firmnesses and zoning and traditional design giving it more durability.
It would really depend on how much cheaper the helix mattress is compared to the winkbed for me. But I think a major factor would also be durability, which he says the winkbed is better. If I have to spend that much money on a bed, definitely want something more durable.
Helix wins for me in this match up. Perfect construction of layers for me with the slow memory foam on top of coils. Also, I love that I can choose firmness level. This mattress sounds ideal for me. Thanks Martin 😊
Hi can you help? We have the luxury firm winkbed right now. We are side sleepers, however we are about 240lbs each. We are side sleepers. So from their website the luxury firm was a better option. Because of our weight. But Marten has said before because of our weight we sink in more. How long did it take you to adjust to your bed? It’s been two months for us and it is great but for the price we want it to be awesome. We just wish it was a tad bit softer and more give
@@lns4life hi. I've had my bed about the same length of time. I'm about 128lbs and I sleep alone. Sadly. I'm a side sleeper. I think I need a little softer myself to sink in but maybe that takes some breaking in. I'm unsure. It's way better than the super firm mattress I had prior. I think this was rated 7 of 10 in firmness. I'm thinking I need 6.5 but I have a lot of neck and shoulder issues.
@@007martini it should be broken in for both of us by now, I’m really considering exchanging for the softer version because it’s just a bit softer with the same support from my understanding
Read my mind, we have the luxury firm winkbed right now and it’s not as soft as we’d hope. And we are 240lbs each. Thinking about helix if this doesn’t work out
Helix sucks I spent over a grand on a Helix mattress after 2 years i wake up in pain every day. The mattress has a 2 inch slant on the sides where the middle has spread out and they won't honor the warranty because they say it cosmetic. But memory foam doesn't show sags so ur just screwed

Where can I try these in stores? In Southern California?

I think I prefer the WinkBed for that comfy innerspring feel, but honestly I don’t see how you could go wrong with either choice!
@mattressclarity...did you ever announce a February giveaway winner????
Seems like the Luxe versions would've been a more accurate comparison

Through your review as a side sleeper like myself it seems helix midnight would be better, but I love my winkbed luxury firm.

@@lns4life yeah if it isn't broken in with both of you, I guess I'm having the same issue. So we can return this and get the softer one?
More substantial is my pick. Winkbed it is.i love the reviews for this mattress. 👌
The helix sounded like a better option for my fiancé and I, but I was surprised that it had more pressure on the pressure map than the other bed.
This confuses me also. Why is Helix recommended for side sleepers when the pressure map showed that Winkbed performed better for side sleeping?
@@jillianjones2801 beats me. You do see this come up quite a lot. Maybe perceived pressure relief because of the memory foam?
The Helix Midnight for me. I am a lightweight strict side sleeper.
The Helix mattress you had a whole lot more yellow all over then the WinkBed. I would probably get WinkBed but in the softer version.

I like helix because its all foam!!!
But it’s not!!! Lol
