Father Thank You for everything that You have done. Joshua 1:9 New King James Version 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
May God bless the hearers this day, may we share what we have heard, and pass on the blessing. Thank you, Sir, for your faithful reading, God bless you.
Amen thank you Justin for today's bread for we need GOD every day in our lives without JESUS we are lost he gives us forgiveness he paid with his life on the cross GOD is love's you all have blessed day every one i love you all 🙏🙏
This daily reading is an inspiration in my life. Walk in Jesus foot steps for he is gentle, kind, and generous, and most of all understanding. Trust in him always. 💯
Being in the end day's, I pray the lord Jesus to lead people to Christianity & stay strong in their faith. I already see the falling away. Thank you brother for another beautiful Bible reading 📖. I absolutely love this. God bless you and everyone in Jesus Christ name Amen. 👑🙏🕊💜💜
Matthew 9.23 And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd making a tumult, 24 he said, “Depart; for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
So we have Joshua, preparing to make his conquest of Canaan, and we have Jesus (who actually has a very similar name), beginning his conquest of spiritual Canaan, in the physical land of Canaan, which Isaiah 61 lays out the stipulations for. Pay attention to when he makes his ascent to Jerusalem, as in the Psalms. Many believe that the hymn that Jesus and his disciples sang before they went to the garden, Gethsemane may have been one of the festival songs (Either psalm 113 or some 116 through Psalm 118).
@@blindvision4703 Yep, Joshua son of Nun and Lord Jesus technically have the exact same name bibically. Funny thing is Joshua's name was given to him by Moses, his original name is Hoshea.
@@JesusistheonetrueGod interesting also that both the last king of the northern kingdom of Israel and the prophet Hosea, both have the same name as Joshua originally did in Hebrew. Noticed also the typology between Joshua and Jesus: Joshua, which means Yahweh saves, lead the children of Israel, into the promised land, and help them, conquer the original Canaanite forces inhabitants. Jesus comes into the promised, land from heaven, into the wilderness of sin, and brings those who believe into the spiritual, promised land, and, through sanctification by his Holy Spirit, helps us, conquer the sin in our lives, and makes us perfect when we join him in heaven. We are also promised, new heavens, and a new earth, where Jesus rules as king, which, he, through salvation, brings us into through the guarantee of the Holy Spirit and our salvation. Joshua struck the Canaanites with a sword, but Jesus struck the earth and the demonic powers with the word of his mouth in his time. There may be more, and feel free to let me know if I missed anything. God bless. But I really think that the name of Jesus is, if you want to think about it, this way, a variation of Josh with a name, a shortened version of it that was common in his time. Period. And his name also means Yahweh saves or Yahweh is salvation.
