Episode 4 - A lighthearted story of a father and son exploring the backcountry in pursuit of cutthroat trout and pure adventure! This is a trip that my son Andrew and I have been dreaming about for years. Backpacking and fly fishing in an amazing location with cutthroat trout willing to slam big dry flies! It was also a time for me, as a parent, to reflect on the importance of carving out time to spend with the ones I Iove before the opportunity is gone. We hope you enjoy!
Series Overview:
Three years ago we launch the original Buffet Series which consisted of 8 fly fishing adventures from around the globe. We had so much fun creating and sharing those stories that we decided to create a second round of fly fishing adventure films. In season 2 we stay a bit closer to home and focus on the amazing trout fisheries the West has to offer. We invite you to join us on these adventures as we share some of our favorite experiences with you.
Whether your preference is chasing trout in a cold mountain stream, bonefish on a secluded flat, or large mouth bass in your favorite warm water pond, this series has something for you!

Every dad's dilemma you want them old enough to all these great things but you don't want them to grow up too fast. Those are great core memories for you and him. I've done similar outings with my boy and now that they're young men they still enjoy spending time with us. Outstanding job!
I think that it is important to recognize parents and guardians who got us into this wonderful hobby. They are the spark to the fire. Fun video as always!!
Nothing better than fishing with your kids. Mine got distracted by girls, sports and their buddies but they eventually found their way back. Enjoy every moment.
Those are the best fishing trips, making memories. I truly love teaching a youth about why I love fly fishing, and passing it on to future generations. The truly are the future of the sport me love so much.

This is definitely my favorite video of the series. I treasure all the memories I have of fishing with my grandfather and uncle and look forward to sharing those same experiences with my step son. I can’t wait to get back out into the backcountry this summer so I can put some bends into my handed down bamboo rod.

My favorite one yet, I'm looking forward to this day with my own son. We're still in the "Daddy can i throw rocks in the water" phase and showing no signs of progressing out of it.

My wife and I just brought our first child into the world in November. I can definitely relate to the feeling of impatience waiting for her to “grow up” so I can take her fishing with me. But for now, she’ll just have to ride in my backpack while I do the casting 😁

Another epic video 🙌 my oldest(who's now married and lives on provo) took to fly fishing at an early age. He and I will be doing the utah cuttslam this year with my grandpa's bamboo fly rod. It's an adventure I can't wait to have with him. Keep up the great work.
