I’m 6yrs younger than Denise. I loved her as Vanity and at first I thought she’s just saying she found Jesus and mocked people like her. I might not go to church a lot but do read the Bible and watch some Christian channels. For Denise to drop her career even the ones that would make her money is not something you’d see everyday. Money is the root of all evil. She was struggling and hated herself as Vanity. God gave her a chance to live 22+yrs longer and speak the word of God. RIP. I miss you and know you’re in a good place now 🙏

She is on FIRE for the Lord. I have attended church most of my life but have never felt what she's feeling. The closest I get is when the hymns move me.
Normally you can feel like her when you escape a really bad state and come out of it stronger, better, wiser etc. It's not the church that gives it to you, it's coming from within. And she explains that she didn't look elsewhere in the outside world to be saved, she knew it was coming and she waited for it with gracious anticipation.
