Wow! That was a torture for my eyes seeing so beautiful landscape! 👀. And I guess Bosnia is the first country I’ve been to where the provinces look even better and cuter than the cities. That’s cool. And I see the Lokomotiv is Yugoslav, but the cars are capitalist -Talgo. Well, Yugoslavia was kinda famous being open to two worlds - the capitalist and communist. Even that train 🚊 lokomotiv is made in cooperation with the Swedish. But it’s still a working horse 🐎 and pulls the lazy capitalist talgo cars. (Well, it’s pretty comfortable cars though)
Thank you very much sir Sergey for showing the world the beautiful side of my homeland Bosnia and Hercegovina very nice of you and you are always welcome ..
Beautiful trip. Travelling by train is so much better than airplane! I don't know about Switzerland, never been there, but it resembles a lot northern Spain and the Pirenees.
You asked, so dont complain... That locomotive at 2:00 is is called JŽ serija 441. It was made in Yugoslavia, modern day Croatia, in factory Rade Končar in 1970s, under the liscence of Swedish ASEA, so it has a nickname "Šveđanka" (Swedish girl). The variant you saw is made for Bosnian railways (ŽFBH), with old, smaller headlights. There is also bigger variant 461, which had 6 axels and this, more common one 441 has 4. Very reliable.
Hvala! It took time to found the name, but you also have some inside info of nickname and others. It reminds me of Zastava and LADA which started with the licenses as well
@@CrazyRussianSergey You are right. The story is from when the Yugoslavia was one of the strong countries in Europe, so they had many big projects. Fun story, the leader of Yugoslavia, Tito, took an advantage of paranoia in the USA, by giving them under the top secret contract 50 nuclear scientists, in exchange for 220 top of the line diesel locomotives made in USA, we call it Jž serija 661, nickname "Kenedi". USA was scared of Soviets so much that they accepted the deal without even testing the knowledge of Yugoslav scientist and they later learned they made a huge mistake, as the scientist didnt have the world class knowledge that they expected. This story was a secret until the 2010s, when the 50 year old contract ended and some surviving scientist could get back to this region and speak about it. We still use some of these locomotives.
@@paradoxofgodexisting haha 😆, Tito really played them! This one sounds believable! But I also hear sometimes some legends about Tito and not sure if they are true or not. Like the most famous one related to USSR that Stalin sent 7 killers to Tito.
Visoko is another nice city to visit by train from Sarajevo. The local trains terminating there are in the Talgos and 1st class seats are still with 2nd class tickets. Also the trains terminating in Zenica which stop at Visoko use these old Hungarian multiple units which are interesting.
Pazi da se ne zaljubiš u Bosnu ili još gore u Bosni… zavodljiva je ta čarobna magija u toj zemlji ❤ ne bi te babuška nikada više vidjela! Thanks for showing Bosnia as it is to the world… a beautiful country with beautiful people but bad politics and government…
Sergey, another great and interesting video about a nice country with a beautiful landscape reminding me much of Austria or Switzerland. Well worth visiting for us Europeans living more on the other side of the Alps. And since you asked about the locomotives. Just looking at them they remind very much of the first type „new generation“ standard electric locos first designed here in my country in the mid-1950‘s which have been licensed to be fabricated in many other countries back then. Very enduring and long lasting machines, there are still some of them modernised around here with private railway companies. But I haven’t checked their origin online in Wikipedia or other online resources. But I could be wrong of course.. PS: Should have read the comments before writing a comment myself! So it is explained those locos are actually of Swedish origin licensed to former Yugoslavia. But the design is very similar to the ones designed here.
In Socialism we lived with soul and ❤️. We had everything, people are know rules and law, people have real justice, children had great programs on n schools, It was much better than now. Now in democracy we have only hates, corruption, disorientation, unsatisfied and potentially impulse for war. Old good times don't like only criminals.
democracy is good if you have the right people to manage the country. In Bosnia, politicians are corrupt and criminals. The people of Bosnia need to wake up and elect new politicians who will lead the country in the right direction and work for the people, not against the people. Democracy is good, but not for everyone, because it is easily misused.

Those locos are licence built from swedish ASEA locos, they were built in rade končar, electric works company in zagreb, croatia, the company exists today and builds modern croatian emu's and dmu's, as well as trams and industrial transformators and such things, ofc for the rail side of the work like bogeys and wheels they work with another zagreb company called gredelj, for trams they formed a consortium called crotram. Amarican emd diesel locos were also licence manufactured in croatia, in thw company named đuro đaković in slavonski brod, it was a huge company, like an inland shipyard, all konds of metalworks, it exists today too, but in a substantially lesser volume, but they still produce very modern freight cars, a lot of them shipped to serbia and eastern europe in general, and they also always get jobs on military vehicles, licence build or modernisation, currently they work on bradley fighting vehicles we bought used for cheaps, but are now modernised to modern standards.

Ukrainian men are the ones i feel bad about, because their ignorant bravery is what makes the west able to sacrifice them like this. Invasion of Russia is all a stunt to make it seem like something promising is happening, to get more money pumped in the Ukraine. Remember, Russians got their ground forces in Kiev, they can stomp the Ukraine, but Putin chooses to leech this conflict to the max, while minimizing the losses of Russian troops. The west and their equipment got embarrased in this conflict and the global situaton does not favour the west. I am in favour of global peace and heaven on Earth, but thats not the reality of this creation, we must suffer and the power above us is there because God designed it this way. Good will never beat the evil, evil is just better at dominating, its just the Gods design.
