I hate them. 99% of those scooters are tuned, very often sitting 2 persons on it and they drive and behave like crazy, no idea or not caring about the rules.

I haven't seen secondaries on a road bike for a while. Those weren't even really popular in the 70s. Ok so I personally have mixed feelings, and seemingly more mixed against e-scooters (both kinds) and e-bikes than many others. We don't have this degree of two-wheeled use where I live, but some. Very oftentimes, when I see others on e-bikes I see a lot of slacking in terms of wanting to go but having no interest in putting in the physical effort. It seems to me that they breed slobs. I saw this same fatso on one this morning riding it like a scooter. It was pathetic! I have my own e-bike though besides two other bikes, but when I've got power on I'm peddling for speed and climbs. I never just sit there and use throttle. I enjoy the difference and what you can do on it, but I always feel some guilt, and I always make sure there are times with no power assist at all for a percentage of the ride, and that's with a 55 lbs. bike. So overall I get in the exercise with it. What I hear others say is that if it gets people out of cars, then whatever they're doing with it, it's a good thing. That's all besides the assumed lack of skill for a lot of the people on them.

I don't understand why people can't have a little bit of patience when the road is dangerous. At 2:33 "security" guy could slow a bit down, so he'd pass without a car overtaking him. At 3:07 he could slow a bit down, wait for the twisting to end, and overtake when the path was straight and moves were predictable. I also don't get the need for speed, at a place where pedestrians can walk onto the bicycle path, without you seeing them walking down the stairs.

maybe the way these people cycle shows what mental state they´re in. Here in germany it´s the same. Cocky and all over the place...really questionable

I have seen 3 (three) idiots on one (1) rental e-kick-scooter here in Munich tonight. Madness.
