    I think it's time to go back to tradesmen not having all these fancy vans, and just have your bog standard white transit with a few dents here and there, and the dash full of receipts and coffee cups. And cleaned maybe once a year. 😜

    Low profile tyres which are way below the axle load rating for that van, didn't help neither. Shout out to the garage who fitted tyres with a 230kg per corner short fall

    Non standard wheels are a complete pain in the you know what. So are low profile tyres, they wreck the ride and you wreck the wheels more easily....and for what ?

    Fancy alloys wrapped in budget rubber that are not designed to carry the weight. Your tyres should have a ‘C’ in with the size for commercial fitment.

    If your front wheel smacked the island didnt your rear wheel hit it to? Im surprised it didnt blow the shockie along with the wheel. If it was my van Id be taking it to a garage with the Hunter tracking system (but not Kwikfit) to make sure everything is square.

    Hmm 🤔 you were abit far over but I understand why, making sure nothing pops out from the pavement. Probably of done the same, definitely no chance of seeing that island. I didn’t notice it til you pointed it out. Atleast it was only the wheel and not bodywork and suspension damage aswell. Big wheels with low profile tyres are weak, I’ve found that out a few times with potholes 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Just a quick question would you performance test the fire on the back boiler some do?
    Would you? Some don't as they say will fail and dosent mention on mis.

    • @TW-mp8zx
      @TW-mp8zx Год назад

      Because as you can see he was not in the wrong, but the sign that should tell a driver to get back onto their side of the road is absent.. therefore any assuming driver can feel free to drive along that road with the knowledge that the road is free of hazard, the persons held to account is the ones responsible for maintaining the roads. Same with pot holes, overhanging trees the list could be extended
      Obviously for every claim there will be some level of dispute but i do feel hes got this one in the bag.

    • @g7mks383
      @g7mks383 Год назад

      Quite simple if you read the Highway code. You do not drive on road hatching.

    • @TW-mp8zx
      @TW-mp8zx Год назад

      I think the highway code is clear on what you should be doing however does not once say that you "must not" enter such area, just like you can use your mobile phone given the circumstances,
      Its also clear that there was not adequate signage to help direct the traffic
      How can the highway code be abided by if there was only 50% of a sign on show.
      Being in the gas industry myself we are a wash with legal definitions and the words should and should not is usually always followed by "as long as certain other criteria is met" which does not mean that you must not do it...

    Really sorry for you but really all your fault. Not driving with due care and attention, your not suppose to be driving on the hatching missing sign or not. Then the silly wheels if you left the suppyed wheels on the wrench would fit. Not to mention the fact you have not the means legally to change the wheel. O dear points make prizes as the traffic cop says. Is that van insurance covering you for pleasure driving and not just busseness driving? Just have a look in the highway code book.
